Wow, so incredibly disappointed with this establishment. This used to be our favorite Sandy restaurant, we were VERY frequent customers of the previous owners, but now that the ownership has changed we are not customers anymore. We have been once under the new ownership, we were happy that they were keeping the menu, but the food was not nearly as good. Tried to go again on NYE, called at 3pm to see if they were open. We get there in less than half an hour and they closed the door on us, after assuring us that they would be open until at least 5pm. Not how you run a business. When I wrote a message on their wall on FB letting them know it was us who called and when we showed up they were closed, they just deleted my post, no response, NOTHING. In a town that has such awesome customers service and tons of small businesses, Id go elsewhere in search of good food and service.

Great experience here! We were staying overnight in Government Camp, and found it on our way home. Both my 8 yr old son and I are GF, and I often feel bad that he misses out on some kid favorites that his sister gets to eat. We rarely eat out anyway, but he was so thrilled to be able to order fish and chips. And I was thrilled to let him and not have to say "Im sorry buddy, that has gluten". Their fryer is dedicated GF, and even their chicken strips are safe. Plus, after chatting with the cook, he even makes his soups with cider instead of beer like the split pea and "beer" cheese. They dont advertise this outright, so dont be afraid to ask! We will be back!

The food was disgusting. My mother and I made the mistake of stopping (we are tourists) for supper. My mom ordered a hamburger. The hamburger was a preformed patty. McDonalds hamburgers are actually better! The server brought over "ketchup" in a heinz bottle. After pouring it on her burger my mom found out it was cocktail sauce! When we showed the server he didnt believe us. I ordered a house salad and tuna melt. The house salad was $4 filled with iceburg lettuce and PICKLES. The tuna melt was served on regular white bread and had canned tuna with american cheese. I could have made my own for dollar at home. Keep driving and dont stop at Trout Pub!

Used to be the best in Sandy. Since changing ownership is HAS slipped a little but still a family favorite. Went there tonight and for 3 meals with 4 drinks it was 32.00. For everyone saying its not a good value have you been to Red Robin lately? Last time the same group of us got out of there it was 50.00. The hamburgers and beer are the point of the place and honestly none of us have tried anything else so I cant rate that. But I do hope the slide doesnt continue.

No doubt they are trying. The food seems solid, well-prepared, with good selection. Both of the beers we ordered, however, did not taste as expected. Im not sure if the lines need to be sanitized, or if the storage temperature needs adjustment. I would suggest carrying fewer beers so they would cycle through more rapidly and remain fresh.

This is my new favorite place to eat in Sandy! The food is great with decent portions and the beer selection is awesome. We were greeted in a nice friendly atmosphere. Service was great and reasonably fast. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and cold beer.

Adorable waitress and friendly! Watered down dressings or they were from the dollar store. There were only 3 tables being used and they ran out of salad by 215pm. The poor waitress does not have a good business to back her. I should hire her for our restaraunt in Kalispell My.

The Trout Pub is where we go when we dont know what we want. Jim and Kim are a delight to know, always friendly and helpful, Nobody does better burgers. They have the best fries in town -- fresh cut from REAL spuds. The ambiance is calming and the food is delicious,

Absolutely delicious and gluten free!! I have a hard time finding good places to eat with my sister who is a celiac however this place is the best go to .. the food tastes great and has a lot of tastey gluten free options that tastes just as great!!

A longtime local told me about this place. New chef at the helm creating carefully prepared menu items. Really good prices and good food make a good value here. Impressive beer and drink list. Excellent service with very nice people.

Second visit and the fish and chips were better than I remembered. Onion rings were the best Ive had. And the cheesecake was very good. Service was good and the atmosphere nice and comfortable. Our server was very attentive.

Im local, this place sucks. They serve old frozen fish. Old smelly oil in the fryer. It is just horrible. Good place to get food poisoning if you need to lose weight.
