Over-priced and disappointing. The sandwiches range from $11 - $14, but they do not include sides and their portions are small. In fact, they even leave a space on your plate for where the sides should be. I dont know where they get off charging so much, it makes them look pretentious. I work in the building, and were all pretty bummed about this place, could have been great but the prices make a daily lunch habit here totally unsustainable. If they offered budget options that might be different. Something like $6 -$8. The ingredients are great, sure. But in the end its just a sandwich. Also look at he post history of the 5 star reviews in this listing. For most of them, this shop is their only post and the accounts were created around the same time. Which means theyre plants. Shameful. Of course this information will probably become irrelevant once the store owner discovers this comment and attempts to fill out their shill accounts.

The oxtail French dip is delicious, a knife and fork affair, the tender beef tasted long simmered with the mushrooms and onions. The jus is a world apart from the usual salty cup of liquid that seems to be straight out of a metal wrapped cube. The sandwich was the perfect size but looked lonely on the plate as it was only accompanied by 3 little pickle nickels. They were fantastic, and I would have liked more and what sandwich in town doesnt have chips on the side?! Especially for $12? Even the napkins are luxurious, so why so chintzy with accompaniments?

The fine-dining take on a sandwich. Stacked offers creative sandwich combinations using quality local ingredients that will change your definition of a sandwich. Delicious house-made chips, not out of the bag. So thin and crunchy- Im still not sure how they do it. Elk Tartare, Roasted Lamb Leg, all superb. I cant wait to try them all. Regarding the price: The food is well worth the price are you kidding me? $13 for an OXTAIL French Dip? If you want processed meat on wonder bread, go to subway but that will still set you back $8. Ill stick with Stacked.

Fantastic sandwich shop, five minute easy walk from OMSI. Skip the crowded museum eatery and for the same price chow down on really excellent sandwiches with creative combinations (an oxtail French dip with rosemary jus; a fried cauliflower, radish, and hazelnut hoagie; a nutella, banana, and toasted marshmallow on rye, etc). Kid-friendly (grilled cheese, meatball sandwich), beautiful space, craft cocktails , highly recommend. We were so glad we stopped here after a long day at OMSI instead of fighting the traffic before eating dinner.

Some of the best sandwiches Ive ever had! Really creative flavor combinations, perfectly cooked ingredients, and friendly staff as well. Anyone complaining about prices doesnt get the concept here: tender leg of lamb or delectable oxtail layered with bright produce and unusual condiments just cant be thrown together from cheap deli staples. This is a must-try, if only for the melt-in-your-mouth seasonal donut-holes (currently rhubarb and cinnamon sugar). Inspired cocktail menu is the cherry on top!

Good interesting over priced food. Not many vegan selections. Very busy at prime lunchtime and takes awhile. Chips over salted Service attentive and friendly dispite the chaos. Atmosphere is open, loud and clean. Will come back eventually. A couple months later - 2:00. Much more quiet and quick. Smoked salmon salad is incredible, but somebody needs to tone-down the sodium in the fish brine.

One of my favorite new places in PDX. Sorry for not trying more things, but Ive been here 3 times and had the same thing. The good thing about that is the roasted leg of lamb sandwich and a side Kale salad is so good I cant bring myself to get something different. Nothing better than completely unique/creative flavors that taste fresh too. Cant say much more than youve just got to go try it.

Literally the most delicious sandwich of my entire life. Zucchini "torta" is new on their menu and simply incredible. I literally could not put it down! I never eat anything in one sitting but I just could not help myself. Youll get messy eating it but its seriously worth it. Plus the staff is always fantastic and the restaurant is always really clean and welcoming.

My co-workers really like the food at this place, I think its only ok. So far Ive had the tartare which was pretty overwhelmed by the strong flavor of the too-thickly sliced rye bread and the French dip. On the other hand, the potato salad is quite tasty, if a little pricy. If youre going to spring for 3$ chips, you may as well go all in for the 4$ potato salad.

Staff is friendly and the food is good. My only complaint is the price. You pay 12 bucks for a sandwich with no sides. Obviously this isnt too much of a concern for me as I visit once month or so. Would come more often if the price came down a bit. With that said the price is on par with Hair of The Dog and Bunk Bar which are also in the area.

Had the Korean pork sandwich. Seems like a take on bahn mi kind of thing. Honestly had no flavor whatsoever. Might expect some tang from pickled cabbage and some spices on the pork. The combo of wet cabbage/slaw and pineapple just make the sandwich soggy and taste like water. The salt/vinegar chips were excellent however.

Holy lamb of God!!! The super friendly girl at the counter gave us a suggestion for their lamb sandwich and it was outta this world!!! We stumbled upon this place and walked in and immediately were impressed with the atmosphere. Super huge menu and also great cold drinks. This place is now in my top 5!

Got the Turkey club and was really un-happy with the price to food ratio, especially considering the quality of the food was pretty standard in terms of taste and flavor. The Turkey club was like 12 bucks with no sides, not stack or toasted. You could get the same thing at New Seasons for like 6.00.

Fantastic food, awesome space, amazing crew! I loved my open face smoked trout sandwich w/ kale salad. Chef Gabe & staff go the extra mile with their creations & the details are lovely (and delicious). I never knew a sandwich could be so pretty :) Cant wait to go back!

Just went there yesterday. Food was marvelous. Had the Oxtail sandwich, OMG! It did take a bit of time, but fresh food prepared by hand, and not from the freezer, tends to take time. Certainly give this place a shot. I promise, you wont be disappointed.

This place makes me excited to eat sandwiches again! They are so creative and beautifully executed. The space has a fun vibe and the staff is wonderful. If youre looking for something on the lighter side try the salads they are fantastic too!

Promising start! Tried the tuna salad and it was good, but a little expensive for the size. Smoked turkey club and oxtail french dip are winners. Homemade chips are tasty. The space is great. Cant wait to come back and try more of the sandwiches.

Chef Gabriel Pascuzzi takes his exquisite cuisine off the plate, and puts it between pieces of fresh baked local bread. Everything is delicious from the elk tartar to the fried cauliflower. Compliment with house made potato chips.

Had the Oxtail French Dip. Whats not to love? Its Oxtail and au jous. You can really tell they put a premium on sourcing quality ingredients and everything really shines through. If you love sandwiches then youll love this spot.
