For Fathers Day my daughter took me to the High Street Brewery & Café. I was less then impressed. We arrived around 1:00PM and told to take a seat. Our server greeted us within an okay amount of time. But things got worse from there. The drinks took a good 15 minutes to arrive, which is when we placed our food order. Cajun tots for starters, and varios sandwiches. During the 45 minute wait we had to move due to the smell comming from the bathrooms. When the meal arrived my Jalapano sandwich and my wifes tuna melt were slightly above room tempurature as was my daughters burger. The waiter was asked for some katsup for the fries on three occations before arriving five minutes later. By the way we were the ONLY people inside the dining area. There was others outside. Then finally after we were close to finished with our meals THE TOTS FOR APPATISERS came out! They must have been rushed out due to the fact the puddle of oil covering the bottom of the basket was a puddle. So a great location, lousy service and palatable food (which might be much better if served with a minutia of care). I do not think I will be gracing this establishment again.

Worst female server at this location. Weve never been treated so rudely in all of Eugene and yes we consider ourselves "foodies" and usually tip very well! The food and drinks were not the problem, although we were never offered a drink or dessert menu (or forks or ketchup, but we let that go)... The terminator stout is to die for and we love the atmosphere-were actually really shocked that we were treated this way. She completely rushed us, charged us over $20 extra for things we didnt get. She fixed it, but with a horrible attitude. $4.80 for 2 shots of espresso? When I told her it was incorrect she very meanly walked away and did not explain anything. The manager figured out that she was wrong & just didnt know how an espresso machine or a cash register works. Sad....wont be going back. Mcmennamins please care more about who you hire for your staff. This place could a tourist or regulars paradise.

I head into this McMenamins every other Friday Nite. There is a happy hour from 4-6 pm. French fries are $2 bucks and the mini wimpy burger is $4. The wait staff are lovely. Jared is my favorite! They have a good selection of Americana, suds on tap, a fireplace and a down home atmosphere. The restrooms are clean and coded. If a patron shouts: "Zero, zero, zero zero!" at you on a Friday or Saturday night as you near the 2 restrooms! That would be my brother! He is a McM-Hammerhead devotee. I have heard excellent things about the Aunt Betty Ale but me: I dont imbibe the alcohol!

Food is perfect. Its sad I thought I found my new favorite restaurants close by my house that I would be visiting at least once a week but tonight I got off work and spent an hour waiting for my food with a waiter who had the most negative energy towards children and mothers my two year old was throwing a bit of a fit and I apologize to him and he ignored me and treated me as if we were nothing but an inconvenience so I will not be going back I left this restaurant this family restaurant that they claim to be bawling my eyes out

Everything was perfect. The beer was great, the food was delicious and the man working that night was very kind and helpful. From our first step through the door and our last step out was an amazing experience. If youre looking for a very chill environment where you can grab a good burger and a few brews without having to deal with a loud crowd or loud music then this is the place for you.

This location used to be a chill place to hang out with some friends around a fire pit with a beer, used too be. The food and beers still good but the service leaves a lot to be desired, waited for 10 minutes just to get menus even though we knew what we wanted, the server was rude too my friend for not answering fast enough, and when she forgot who ordered what.

Stayed at the McMenamins Crystal Hotel in Portland the night before. Their Ringling Annex bar was cool, and the Zeus Cafe quite good as well. Then I hop on the train and come down to Eugene and try and get a drink at the High Street Brewery and the bartender wont serve me inside cuz I stink so bad. We just left, so I still have no idea how the food or beer is..

Love this place! We go for the beer (great selection, never disappointed) but often end up having a salad, appetizer or sandwich. The food is good for pub fare. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely a favorite place to go on a sunny day... enjoy sitting on the back patio.

The house brewed beer is pretty good but not great. What is really special about this place is the great atmosphere at the outdoor seating. An amazing fire-pit and homey seating, good lighting and nice privacy behind the trees make this a top choice for a later evening happy hour.

They changed the menus , fries are now pre blanched and finished on order(fast food) according to our waitperson Kira. She said that is why They come to the table in little tiny pieces like the bottom crumbs of a potato chip bag

This place has long standing history in Eugene. Definitely worth checking out. Small interior and dark. Easy to socialize at night. Typical american food for a decent meal at a good price. Good quality house-made beers!

The food is as good as any McMennamins, but I hate how claustrophobic and crowded this one is. Plus the back is so overgrown that I always get bit by mosquitos when I sit out there.

Excellent pub fare and a friendly atmosphere. I especially recommend their Hogshead whiskey. They also have a nice variety of vegetarian options, much more than your average pub.

Always a great place to eat or drink! They fill up growlers and they have an amazing happy hour menu for food! I highly recommend the terminator stout!
