Ive been to this restaurant twice and on both occasions it was excellent overall. The 1842 nachos were awesome and the portion was massive (like a cookie sheet full of nachos). The beer menu is eclectic. The bacon burger is a good portion and it was cooked to perfection as well as very juicy. Its not the best burger Ive ever had but its still good and well worth trying. My fiancé said her turkey burger was the best burger she ever had!! During my first visit there, the couple that went with us also said their BBQ platter and mac and cheese was very good as well. Our server Ann went out of her way to find a something to prop under the leg of our table when she saw it was wobbly!! Awesome service!! The only issue I have with 1842 is the prices are a bit steep, but its the Vegas strip what do you expect. I will be back soon!!!

Went here during happy hour with the intention of ordering the Lobster grilled cheese. They didnt have it any more even though it is still on their online menu. That was disappointing. So instead I ordered the happy hour pork tacos and the happy hour cocktail. The food was still great. My friends ordered the hot wings, pail of fries, spicy tater tots. Everybody enjoyed their food and drinks. The waiters seemed short staffed the day I went, so it took a while to get a menu or our drinks. We were ID-ed by multiple bartenders before being served our drinks. There was a drunk man in the bar area who was causing a scene and had to be kicked out. Overall, the food was great, but the service and ambiance was not terrific.

Das Essen war eine Wucht! Das Steak war wie bestellt auf den Punkt gebraten und die Pommes - so ziemlich die besten die ich je hatte. Die Bedienung holt die Bewertung jedoch wieder etwas herunter. Nichts desto Trotz sehr empfehlenswert!

The Burgers we had were top notch and so was the beer selection. The beer flight choices by the waiter were spot on afyer telling him what beers we currently enjoyed. The Dragons Milk stout is a must-try for anyone who enjoys Guiness, it was amazing. The Frickles we ordered for an appetizer were not good at all. The batter on the pickles was very dense and perhaps overcooked. The aioli served with it was also disappointing. Appetizer came out just a minute before the entrees.

Food (3 stars): Nothing amazing here only simple bar food done well. Nothing to gripe about, there are simply better places to go for bar bites even within MGM itself for your money. Drinks (4 stars): An extensive beer selection both draft and bottled. Service (4 stars): Service simply done right with a great balance of attentiveness while minimizing interference. Atmosphere (3 stars): Almost any good sports bar in any big city is comparable, nothing notable here.

The noise level is on the high side. Not the best place to go if you want dinner conversation. The food was average to sub par. The burger was good, the shrimp was cooked perfectly, this ends the good part. The BBQ platter was disappointing. The pulled pork was ok, the ribs and brisket very very dry. The man and cheese way over cooked. It was mushy and pasty. The service was kind of bad.

Great pub atmosphere and good food. I had the smoked bacon and cheese burger. The restaurant was a little crowded with lots of people and the tables were a little squeezed in. As in other restaurants in the MGM, I was able to try a hard to find (for me) whiskey. In addition to the long list of beers, Michael Mina Pub 1842 has an extensive spirits list.

I would rate this 4.5 stars. The turkey burger I had was excellent. Typically these can be dry, but this one was moist and a joy to eat. I would definitely come back to get this again. The side salad was just okay. Had I not been trying to cut back on the carbs I would have gone with the fries which looked good.

Solid bar restaurant with good music, good food, and lots of TVs playing sports. The 1842 Burger is quite good, but not amazing. Lots of great beers on tap and a nice full menu of drinks. Id almost give it four stars, but its still a bar restaurant.

The food is pretty good. Its what you would expect from a Michael Mina restaurant. But the bar tenders all seem more interested in talking among themselves than serving their customers. Im guessing chef Mina needs to light a fire under these guys.

Service was great, but the food was disgusting. The chips were soft, some were under cooked, some were stale, and then some were burnt. Stay away. The beer was pretty bad as well. Their German wheat beer selection is pretty terrible

Excellent beer selection, tasty pub burgers and salads, lively atmosphere and fair prices given the fact that its located on the Strip. Dropped back in again before leaving Vegas and I will return soon!

Awesome food & atmosphere. The atomic burger was possibly the best burger Ive ever had.. Salmon was awesome too. Bartender Joe was super helpful, overall great experience. We will definitely be back!

I sat at the bar on a Sunday afternoon and had a great lunch. The 1842 burger is awesome (I hope you like onions) and they have a good beer selection. The bartenders were quick and friendly.
