We went following Lucas recommendation - our Munich "ice cream crack" - and found that the ice cream really is very good. My "trial scoop" always is pistachio, as I love it, and find that it seems hard to produce non-artificial tasting pistachio. This one really was excellent, creamy, with a nice nutty flavour, and actual pistachio-pieces in the ice cream.. I had dark chocolate, too, which looked like the dark, molten centre of fondant au chocolat, and tasted like it, too.. My husband went for "fruits of the forest", which was lovely and more like a sorbet- and just when I said that it tasted like the small, wild strawberries that you hardly find anymore, one after the other appeared in his scoop.

Ive read review comments when I am waiting for my orders. Most of good comments are talking about the food tastes great, however, bad comments are all about bad service. Its 100%true for this restaurant. Over 30min waiting time after server took our orders. We have 5 people, 5 orders, the server just wait until collect all orders are ready. ???? We order sashimi, sushi boat for sharing, no reason to wait all orders are ready. Over 30min.......... But be honest with you, the food here is great. So I rate as 3 stars.

Its just barely worth eating here. Food is always off in some manner. Sushi is very average at best. Chefs are clearly lazy and putting in their time until the grim reaper comes to claim them when they expire at the age of 83 sloooowly peeling potatoes next to the freezer in the back. I only come here when work buddies want to....to be social. All the sushi places in Corvallis are equally bad so you have to out of town to get something fresher. And yeah, service is slow.

This was my second time trying sushi, and when I walked in, I regretted going to Aomatsu (no offense). Good ambiance. Mostly, though, I was impressed by the service. The waitress would walk over and say "Need a refill?" and ten seconds later I would have one. The food was really good, considering Im just trying sushi and dont know exactly what to get yet. I recommend the Sake Maki done Tempura. Overall absolutely fantastic experience.

I eat there often and have found their Sushi to be the best I have had anywhere. They are very friendly, always willing to make adjustments for me because of all my food allergies, and have gluten-free items on their menu, so are very aware of gluten-free dining options. The atmosphere is very nice too, and the people who work there are all really friendly and happy. Love, love, love this place!

Excellent sushi, nice atmosphere, and great prices! We were very happy with our experience at Sada. The service was good, the atmosphere was nice and booths were private, the plating was appetizing, and food was delicious. We were pleasantly surprised when our total only came to $35 for 2 drinks, an appetizer, an entree, and 3 sushi rolls. We will definitely be back!

We just found this place today as we left the adjacent farmers market. What a pleasant decision it was to eat there! Everything was excellent, and being an extreme salmon snob, I can comfortably say that I have absolutely never been given better sockeye in any restaurant. The tuna, calamari, yellowtail, and tako yaki were all just right.

I really enjoy going to Sada for sushi. It has your typical selection of sushi, sashimi, and bento boxes. They have a nice sake selection as well. The atmosphere is nice even though it is in the basement. They also have a traditional Japanese table where you sit at ground level with your feet under the table. Eat here and enjoy!

Amazing delishious high quality food. So happy to have found this gem of a restaurant. Definitely the best sashimi I have ever had. The ika was perfect. Their miso soup and tonkatsu ramen was fantastic. Everything we ate was wonderful and the customer service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely fantastic food, the décor is beautiful and the staff are friendly and polite. Sada Sushi & Izakaya is a real must try if you havent been there already. The Sushi is just incredible and worth every cent. Id recommend trying the soft shell crab or the Godzilla roll (eel), both are incredible.

Excellent service, a nice dining atmosphere, and some of the best food in Corvallis. Everything we ordered was beautifully prepared and tasted great! Im no sushi expert so Im sure some will say that its not the best/most authentic sushi, but I loved it. Great Sake selection and reasonable prices.

One of the better Japanese restaurants Ive been to in Oregon. Love the atmosphere and the food is great without being astronomically priced. Menu has good range, from sushi to hot pots to bento and noodle dishes. Definitely worth visiting if you love Japanese food and are in Corvallis.

We waited a while entire hour before our food was served to us, 15 of that was waiting on the server to take our order. We came in athe about 7:15 and it wasnt that busy. The quality of the food wasnt great, the only upside ofor this place is the caramel candy that you get in the end.

Great service, great food. Proper sushi bar and tables too. Good for date night and family friendly too. A little hidden downstairs if its your first time. Cool historic building with some Corvallis history if you explore the building.

The tonkatu is awesome. The chief is real Japanese! Their food is same as the food in japan. Their sashimi is really fresh not like Tokyo! If you really want to eat real Japanese food then you should go to Sadat!!!!!!

Hands down best sushi in Corvallis. The atmosphere is impeccable, transporting you to somewhere far across the Pacific. Sada is a master of his craft. I should have come here years before I did.

I lived for two summers in Japan and this sushi rivals anything that I ate there. it was delicious. Loved the tempura and miso soup, also. Our waitress was attentive and very helpful.

Hands down, best sushi and rolls downtown Corvallis. Good selection of sake as well. Service is pretty good although depends on the day. Never been disappointed with the food here.

I really like their sushi rolls and tea pots. It feels very authentic. One or beaver roll is amazing. The sushi chef is Japanese which makes the experience better.

The sushi here is good, but it does take awhile to get your food here. Service was decent, but not exceptional. Personally I prefer the sushi at Tokyo Steakhouse.

Really quite impressed with the varieties and the taste of the Izakaya style Japanese dishes here, and so are the drinks. Not just any typical sushi restaurant.

One of my favorite Japanese restaurants. I recommend the Hamachi Kamayaki (grilled yellow tail collar) for something you dont find on a lot of menus.

This is Corvallis sushi spot. I enjoy taking colleagues here for lunch or dinner. The salmon sashimi melts in your mouth...and the tuna belly...yum!
