My experience with PizzAmore is a very interesting one. Ive been there several times and most times I have been very pleased with my meal. Prices for the menu items are very good for non-pizza and average for pizza, but their pizza is excellent if you order normal (not the flat, which I wasnt too keen on) pizza. Overall, I would say this place is better than both Pizza King and Cidiccis. Despite their good food and prices, one time I went there I noticed Christian music playing in the background. As a rule, any restaurant that does this I automatically give 1 star to and never return, because I dont want someone to push their religion on me when I dine out. I had this place rated 1 star for quite a while due to that, until the owner of the restaurant actually replied to this review letting me know that the Christian music was playing by accident after the person who opened the restaurant that morning forgot to change it. Any owner that cares enough to reply to my reviews I will gladly give a second chance to, so I did indeed return and they had Jazz music playing. It seems they have corrected this since Ive returned two or three times since and its always been Jazz. I am pleased to be able to continue my patronage to this restaurant now that they rectified that issue, and I can say that this is one of the better restaurants in Albany. The one primary thing I would add is a full bar, and perhaps create some specials to make the pizza more affordable.

When I first walked in it was comfortably warm, smelled amazing, and had such a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were fun, kind, and real. I ordered a Hawaiian calzone. I was a little surprised as a calzone and soda was about $15, but from previous reviews I was prepared for it to be a little pricey. While I was waiting to get my food, listen to an excellent play list over a quality sound system, a lady seated next to me go her to go order, in a large pizza box. She was confused because she ordered a calzone. It was a calzone! It was huge! I got the garlic rolls and those are amazing. The calzone was delicious and I was only able to eat half. I would recommend this place for a family, date night, or just to grab a pizza by the slice.

The best pizza Ive ever had. Not only is it good, but its consistent. I have never gone here and gotten a poorly made food item, and Ive had just about everything on the menu. I will agree with the person below me that there is an obvious sense of Christian values here (i.e. the music, one of their wall displays), but that never really bothered me. It is what it is. Highly recommend their meat lovers pizza, garlic rolls, and calzones. The latter is a fantastic value for what you get.

You must take a cooking class here. Atmosphere is upper mid range. But the food will take you from this world to the moon and back again. Its all true to form Italian food, the owner actually takes trips to Italy yearly to keep up with the newest foods and methods. And in true Italian fashion, the owner/cook will at times come out and sit with you just to chat. If you get the opportunity or even the inkling of Italian for dinner, give this place a whirl, it wont disappoint.

We come here often because the pizza is amazing. The 20 inch pizza feeds roughly 5 adults. The pizza here is delicious for two specific reasons: the amount of garlic and the thin crust. Salads are enormous, I have had the Greek salad and the dressing is yummy! They are served with garlic knots that are super buttery and garlicky. Just know that food takes time to come out. The wait is longer than normal, but so worth it!

Some of the best pizza I have had since I lived on the east coast. The garlic knot things and the pizza crust are worth the stop alone. I drive south from Portland regularly and this is one of our favorite spots for dinner. Love this small little spot hidden in a strip mall, but bursting with the deliciousness of amazing pizza.

If you want the best fresh made pies and calzones this is the place to go. I have visited her several times and have never been disappointed. This is real cooked to order food. Make sure you get the garlic balls with your meal. It a fault opened small restaurant so plan ahead for bigger groups.

The reviews are true! Easily the best pizza in town. It can get a little pricey at times but it is ALWAYS worth it. My husband and I are now bi-weekly regulars. My favorite is the bbq chicken, and the garlic rolls are a customary accompaniment.

The pizza was soggy and very greasy. The staff are not very friendly either. No smiles, felt rushed to order and when I thanked the grill for delivering my food I didnt even get a grunt in return. Over all pretty disappointed

BEST PIZZA in town hands down! You get so much pizza for your money. The garlic rolls are to die for and are ridiculously cheap! I mean come on, a dozen of those little pieces of heaven for under 4 bucks? Yummyyy....

Probably my favorite pizza in the area. WARNING: there is a good chance youll have garlic breath after leaving this place. Lots of garlic, throughout the pizza. I love garlic so it makes it great for me.

Theyre open sign is on and their front door is unlocked but if you show up 30 seconds before 11am they will treat you weird. Really heavy garlic for just a standard pepperoni pizza.

Not cheap, but worth the money. Try their grinder sandwiches too. And garlic rolls. Ive never ordered anything Ive been disappointed with. They are closed Mondays, FYI.

We love Pizza Amore. The prices can be high if you do a lot of add ons but oh it is so worth it. The garlic balls are amazing and worth a trip alone!

all their food was great except for their "famous"garlic rolls. They were very chewy and unappetizing.
