My wife and I (do to the fact shes celiac) have to eat Gluten Free. We were excited to find out that Mellow Mushroom was offering a gluten free pizza (and also dairy free cheese). We went last night. It was OK, but just like most gluten free pizzas - not so great either. LaRosas probably has the best GF pizza in the area. Just because you eat gluten free does not mean you enjoy crunchy cracker tasting crust. People with celiac (or gluten intolerance) want to think they are eating the real thing (or something that at least tastes similar). Yeah I know youre rolling the dice with any place at all anymore (but we only eat out once a week and are very cautious). At least they are trying and my wife didnt have any reactions so it must have not been contaminated either. Thats positive.

I have been to a lot of places to eat. This place is top three out of what I have been to. I am a huge fan of mushrooms and this place uses them as a ingredient in a lot of their dishes. The Pizza is delicious. My favorite Pizza place I have ever been to. The options arent average. I prefer a veggie filled pizza myself, and this place is perfect for that. The service was great, the drink options were nice and it is just a beautiful environment to sit down and enjoy some company. Great place for a date. My family and I come here at least once a year (it is out of town, I live in Dayton) but my brother goes here often because he and his fiancé live in Hamilton. Easy 5

Literally just left, slow lunch day. Our server completely ignored us, my food wasnt cooked all the way through. My mother order wings half and half different sauces, I made sure several times to clarify as Ive been a server, and that was wrong.(not the worst part) she was talking and standing around for twenty minutes when we asked for a to go box for our pizza and our check. Twenty minutes, this was a SLOW day. Ive worked in a busy bar in Columbus and even the servers I worked with their ignored their customers like this. I then took the receipt To the bar tender after waiting so long. Thanks Michelle for ignoring my family

Got there at 6:10 and was seated right away. Party of 4. Ordered a drinks. Got those within 5 minutes. Ordered pretzel bites, a small cheese pizza, and 1 medium. 45 minutes later we asking where the pretzel bites are. The place was not packed. There were empty tables all over. Pretzels came out after we asked again. Another 20 minutes went by, I tell my wife Im ready to walk out. It doesnt take an hour to make a pizza! Wont be back. Pizza sucked too. Bland flavors. Didnt like the pretzel bites either. They dont need parmesan, should have been course salt. For my $40 meal, I ate 4 bites. The rest will go to my chickens.

We had such a bad experience! This is the second time Ive tried this restaurant, in two different states and both were not good. This one, in West Chester had terrible service. We had a 15-20min wait, when there were about 10 people in the whole place. We then ordered our food and that was the last of our server. Never refilled our drinks, never brought us more napkins, never brought my side of sauce. Finally we had to track someone down so that we could get our bill and leave. The food was way overpriced and mediocre at best. Two tries and Im done with this place.

Tonight was our first time eating at Mellow Mushroom. The bar staff was very friendly and and beer selection was awesome. Then our waitress was amazing. So fun, informative, great with our son(who had a good view of the chefs tossing the pizza dough in the air). She is probably the best waitress we have had at any restaurant in a very long time...then she told us it was only her second full shift... what!? Suz, you were a delight and we will definitely be back and looking for your section! Great pizza place!

The Mellow Mushroom is a great chain restaurant that is always guaranteed to provide a delicious pizza youll love, along with a really decent craft beer selection (better than most chains). At this particular location our server could have been better (apps came out after our pizza, with no explanation or apology until I inquired) but I wont ding a restaurant on service on round one -- everyone in entitled to an off day. Enjoy!

Customer service was fantastic. They accidentally brought us the wrong pizza and the server was very quick to recognize it. They quickly started to make a new, correct pizza, and while we waited they brought out some cheesy bread. Everyone makes mistakes but its how you handle them that sets you apart. Certain airlines could learn a lot about customer service from mellow mushroom. Kudos to treating us right, we will be back.

It was mediocre at best. My server looked miserable to be there, he was completely annoyed at the fact my husband and I were taking a minute to look over the menu. The pizza is nothing special, I was underwhelmed. The bottom of my pizza was burnt, an appetizer we ordered was undercooked. For 68 dollars for some pizza I was severely disappointed it was not that great and my server really just was miserable. I wont go back

Then pretzel with cheese dip was great. I like that they have flights of beer where they will mix and match whats on tap. I disliked the raw meatball, the cold calzone, and then having to wait for 20 minutes for our check after the manager came by and asked if she could do anything. The potato pizza wasnt bad. Like. Loaded bakes potato on pizza. The kids Mac&cheese was great. Disappointing experience.

Have ate there many times with good results. But last Saturday was a different experience. Service was fine as usual. We ordered a House special and when it was served the crust was fine but pizza toppings were half cooked. Noticed there was a lot of oil on pan. I think someone drowned it in olive oil. Took home and baked it myself. Probably will go back. But, will try something different.

I am a fan. I can eat vegan and gluten free, my friends can get any pizza you could ever dream of (including all the meat!), and my boyfriend can try a new beer everytime we visit. Sometimes the service isnt fast, but weve never had a rude server, and there is a level of honesty that I appreciate with all of my food sensitivities. Its a regular restaurant in our rotation.

Mellow Mushroom is a great place to go with a large variety of foods to eat. This isnt the typical pizza shop with plain toppings, these are gourmet style pizza options (and other foods). Not quite the same decor as in Lexington, but the store here fits in the community extremely well. The staff were nice and very helpful. Ability to get pizza to go as well.

Amazing! Ate at Mellow Mushroom the first time in Tennessee on spring break and was not disappointed. Decided to go to lunch yesterday (10/05/15) with my girlfriend after school and it brought back memories. Nice waiters and good food! I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves pizza! This place definitely wins over any pizza joint!
