I ate this restaurant on January 7, 2015 during lunch. It was not crowded. It was noisy because of a crying baby that stayed until I left. The wait staff or owner of the restaurant was friendly and professional. The food that was on the buffet tasted good, but I did find that it was a bit salty for my taste, but still pretty good. The price was reasonable at $10 a head for the buffet. The issues I had with the restaurant is that it was small and contained mostly booth seating. There were two tables, but they also faced a booth type of seat. The buffet was small, not what I am accustomed to coming from Texas. In my opinion there was not much too choose from, but plenty there if you wanted seconds! When paying with credit/debit cards, you will have to go to the counter because employees are permitted to handle your credit/debit cards. After you receive the check you do a self checkout so to speak at the counter. Overall, the dining experience was good and the employees personable, enthusiastic and glad we came to their business.

Note that the India restaurant at this location has changed owners several times, and this place is much different (and better) compared to what it was with the previous owner (hence you may want to discount reviews older than 6 months). I greatly like the homely taste of it dishes - many have lower use of grease, and vegetables feel fresher. My favorite is Bhindi masala - getting it in lower level of spiciness allows you to taste the vegetables. Dal Tadka was good too. I would like roti to be all wheat and crisper - I suspect a bit of maida is used. Service is friendly and attentive. For now, this place offers the best food and value in the area it serves, although there are at least 5 restaurants in 5 miles from this place. [Amar India is a standard bearer in traditional Punjabi fare, has better ambiance, but the food is more greasy and about 25% more pricy.]

My wife and I have been coming here for years and It WAS always good. Over the last few months though it has really been going down hill. A nice Asian lady (not Indian) has been working there for a little while but the last 5-6 times weve been there she has been working alone. The food is being made differently and poorly as though she is cooking and not the Indian cooks. Im beginning to wonder if the Indians still work there at all. I asked her tonight where all the Indians were and she said they were on vacation. All of the beer is gone and she said they are getting a new liquor license. Even the catering van is gone from the back. She either got rid of them, or she owns the place now. We wont be going back.

A small, family owned establishment, Ive visited Namaste many times since it opened several years ago and Ive been continually impressed with both the quality and the variety on their lunch buffet. They combine both North and South Indian as well as a bit of Indochinese now and then, all of which they do exceedingly well. The only item on the buffet that I find lacking is the Chicken Curry and the main reason I find it disappointing is because they serve the best Chicken Tikka Masala Ive ever had, and they even shred the chicken rather than cube it. Overall, The delicious food and the day-to-day variety keeps me coming back almost weekly. 5-stars!

Although we live about an hour round-trip from this restaurant, we used to eat here frequently as it was that good! But after yesterday, that wont happen again. The lunch buffet, previously offering an incredible array of choices, had diminished considerably. Worse, the entrees were watery and not at all flavorful. Several serving platters were mostly sauce. Naan wasnt even out until towards the end of our lunch. No soups. In addition, the price of the buffet was raised. More money for less choices and poor quality? I dont think so. Judging by the lack of other patrons during the lunch hour, we are not the only ones who feel this way.

The food is OK. The people who work there are very pleasant . The attitude of the lady who owns the restaurant is nasty . She needs to take a lesson on customer service before helping customers there. I ordered the lunch thaali for 8$ ... The quantity and quality of the food was not that great . The people who work in the chaat corner need to wear a chefs hat or need to tie their hair back. I was worried about how clean the chaat corner was. Also the chutney corner seems to be stale . If not for the crowd from Lexis Nexis , they would have closed doors long time ago.

Worst Indian food i had in my Life. Ordered gobi Manchurian, veggie noodles and dal makhani. Gobi Manchurian was like allu gobi sabzi even worst then that, veggie noodles were like maggi noodles without any taste and dal was just like you put lentils and salt in water. We didnt eat it and throw it in trash. I dont understand if you dont know how to cook why you open these restaurants giving bad impression of Indian authentic food. Really dont understand if you dont know how to cook do something else and dont make people waste their money.

Recently changed names and management. Its now called Indian Rasoi. Soo good! The best Indian food Ive had. My husband agrees. Our three year old even found things to eat! The buffet is open until 3:00… Most are only open until 2:00. We got there at 2:00 and even though there were only a few customers in the restaurant, all of the food was fresh and piping hot. They continued to bring out fresh food the entire time we were there. Very attentive service. The best tikka masala Ive ever had! We will definitely be back!

Great quantity for the price. The staff is very friendly and come out from the kitchen to say hi each time we enter. There is a nice selection. The motto is Curry in a hurry and thats what youll get. Its a nice mix between fast food and sit down dining. Theyll customize your order to the preferred level of spiciness and serve it quick. Whenever were in the area and dont feel like making something at home, this is where we stop. It wont break the bank and youll have enough hearty food for leftovers.

I went in for the buffet and at first, I thought it tasted good. Not the best Indian Ive had but decent. And then my stomach had a serious roller coaster ride at the end of the meal. I had to take some Pepto because the food was not as good as it seemed. The spices hid the fact that the food was definitely spoiled. I have zero food allergies otherwise Id say it was that. As it is, I wont ever be going back. My first hint should have been the fact that zero people were there for the buffet.

I like their service and selected food. I went more than 5 times they are maintaining started food taste on preparing Naan, Somasa, gravy etc., Negative They have to improve lot on South Indian food preparation. I took once its horrible. Hope they will do it. I also ordered party order as naan for my sons bday. That was really great. I feel they are best in preparation on naan related items. Just give a try on this food. For this reason I am giving 5 star else it would be 2 stars.
