This restaurant really need to increase the quality of their whole operation, specifically the food. Just to give an example, heres a break down off my meal which consisted of appetizers. Hubby s bacon cheeseburger and FF. The cup of French onion soup, the bread in the soup soaked up practically half the soup. Especially, in a cup portion, you dont put bread in French onion soup. I dont know, perhaps they ran out of croutons? The salad consisted of 99% lettuce. I hate these types of salads. The spicy shrimp appetizer was greasy and undercooked. The supposedly parmesan cheese French fries was flavorless and soggy. The 4$ ear of corn had what was supposedly to be cheese, but instead had a sprinkling of some type a flavorless white substance on it. It was probably "a cheese by product." My husband fared a little better with his meal. His bacon cheeseburger was flavorful, but again the the FF left a lot to be desired. Finally, first hint we should have have left. The outside patio seating area was not clean. Evidently, a plant must have been blown off of a ledge because plant debris was all over the floor. And I guess non of the workers decided it was in their job description to ensure it was cleaned up. After dinner and later on that night, our dinners definitely did not agree with our stomachs. Over the years hubby and I have dined at this location, and every time the food and service had been lackluster to say the least. Now the Long horn at the independence location outshines Solons. Maybe its time for new management in Solon? Its expensive to eat out and to spend 60$ on a horrible meal is ludricous, never again.

Normally my husband and I really enjoy Longhorn. However, this evenings visit was horrible. We were sat at a table with crumbs on the seat and the floor underneath looked like a good fight had just ended. There was little to no breading on the fried onions. I had the Ribeye, he had the pork chops and although they were both cooked perfectly neither had been seasoned. We didnt have silverware so I gestured to a waitress standing next to mind of the matter. She tapped my waitress on the shoulder (who was inputting our order) and told her that we needed silverware. I was slightly insulted she didnt show any team work by just getting it so we could eat. Additionally, our waitress forgot my add-on lobster tail but even I didnt remember until halfway through the meal. It was toward closing and the staff was loud and using profanity.

this place has gone down the tubes.... Our waiter seemed confused that his expeditors failed to bring out the appetizer AND the soup. By the way, the soup was cold, dude. The dinner started out with a waitress ( not ours) dropping off the obligatory bread and butter at out table- looked as tho she had grabbed what was left of somebody elses! Classy move, Longhorn... When the steak arrived, (tons of delicious grizzle by the way) we asked for steak sauce -the waiter promptly delivered ketchup--wtf? I was so tired of hearing " Im so sorry" that by the time the dinner was over and I needed to calculate the tip, I actually said " Im so sorry" when leaving the paltry 14%. To all the servers out there who feel the get shitty tips- honestly examine your service. Wont go back to this silly pace.....

if I could rate them less than 1 I would. they gave me food poisoning and then they tried to blame it on me when I called to inform them. I was not even trying to get anything out of it I just wanted to inform them. They have terrible customer service and their food is less than subpar. I hope they go out of business for not even having good ethics.

Went friday for dinner with my son ,he ordered grilled chicken sandwich, first bite finds piece of glass or plastic. Call waitress over she is sorry ,manager comes over says hell take care of us. Bill comes full price no comp , ask for some courtesy,bill instead of 55 now is 47. I m in shock cant believe this guy has any experience.Never again .

This used to be a great eatery. Service and food was horrible. Portions are small even child like. Food was just not prepared to the level that I had grown accustomed to in the past. Had a similar experience a few months back. Manager apologized and promised it would not happen again. Once again it happened. There will not be a 3rd.

We love the solon Longhorn! I dont think weve ever had a bad experience here. Food is exceptional, properly prepared, fresh. Walt staff is friendly. We go during the lunch hour, so we get right in. Weekend evenings, there is a wait. But the food is worth the wait. Tastiest, juiceiest chicken of any restaurant we visit!

This was the worst service i have every had i am 60 years old and this is the first time i have ever not tip first no bread second steak came out before the french onion soup third took my ice tea for a refilled and did not return it and then we got seated by the rest room and had the worst service i have every had

Went on a Tuesday, thinking maybe not so packed. Wrong. Lots there. Food is good. I noticed they serve smaller salads and they changed their mushrooms too. Not as good in my opinion. Steaks were great. Done perfectly. Even though they are a little high priced, we always have a nice, pleasant time.

Asked the waiter 3 times for free bread. Steak was half fat. Server brought the wrong steaks out and couldnt figure which steak was rare and which was medium. Nobody thanked us or said hello or goodbye upon leaving. Not a fan of Longhorn as I love Outback. So Ill stick to Outback from now on.

Good Longhorn location. Its got plenty of seating and the service is prompt. Its a nice option if you want something slightly more upscale than usual but you still need to follow a lunch schedule. Easy to get to, right off of Rt 43. I cant find anything to complain about. Recommended.

I have just returned to Nottingham, UK having spent seven nights in Solon, the Longhorn was certainly my favourite place to eat, you can even go on your own and have good time, my good friend at the bar changed channel to European soccer to make me feel at home!

The food is high quality and worth the sometimes long wait. The service is good and there is a wide variety of choices. Just get there earlier as the wait can be an hour if you go at the prime times. Handicapped parking could be a lot better too.

It was a "Solo" night for me, So I sat in Bar Area and I must say that I observed GOOD teamwork amongst the kitchen and servers(Whole Crew). Dino at the bar was EXCELLENT at drinks and Multitasking the area... Impressive! #Kudos #GreatService

After eating at the Solon Longhorn, our family of five left feeling very full and satisfied. The waitress, Angel, was very friendly and attentive, meanwhile the manager, John, was so helpful! The staff made our dinner experience wonderful!!
