This place is amazing! The Galley Boy burger is one of the best that I have ever had. In fact, I ordered a second to go before I left. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The service was quick as well. I only wish that they had an outdoor seating area so you didnt have to sit in the car if you have restless kids, but we managed alright. It does have that cool drive in experience and the food is worth sitting in the car. One thing I thought was really cool on the kid front is that the grilled cheese was exactly the type that you would make at home. It seems like so often I order my kid a grilled cheese some place and what comes out is a giant crust filled sandwich that they dint recognize. It wasnt a problem here and my son chowed it down.

Swensons is quite the treat you deserve, and they wont make you go broke at the same time. Their burgers are like nothing youve ever tasted before, and its absolutely delicious!!! I know their secret, and Ive tried to replicate it at home number times with no luck. Go for the gallery boy with the normal toppings, or a double cheese with the toppings of your liking, and I guarantee you will be impressed. No matter the time of day or how busy they are, the service is very quick, and youll always see the servers running from car to car... Keep in mind to tip them even if you order to go as Im sure they make the normal hourly "server rates" which isnt much. Great work and great food guys! Thank you, Joe P

Swensons is a local favorite. The drive-in and service are something that has almost gone extinct. The food is typically good and different from the typical fast food joints. On that note, you will wait much longer than your regular old hamburger drive through, sometimes longer than others. I would steer clear of the hotdogs; the last couple of hotdogs we have gotten, babe looked less than appealing. If youve never been to Swensons, go. Dont let this review scare you. If youve been to Swensons before, you know what to expect.

Though Swensons is but a humble car-hop hamburger stand, they manage to make the best in the area. Ive been to them all, from B-Spot to 5-Guys. Theres no comparison. They have other things on the menu, but honestly Ive never felt the need to try anything other than a plain ole cheeseburger. Top off your visit with a classic malt and house-cut fries - yum! The only downfall is that there are none in the Cleveland area. Seven Hills is the closest location to Cuyahoga and Lake counties. Well worth the drive!

Next level burgers. Tips all of the best, including Five Guys. There is a slight element of sweetness that comes from the bun and is enhanced by the American cheeses. A classic late-night mucnhy, never had a bad experience. Regarding the reviews that claim they were ignored, they probably didnt turn on their headlights. They wont wait on you if your lights arent on. Quick recap: great burgers, sweet bun. Its a must try drive-in.

EVERY TIME Im up north for whatever reason - and its lunch - Im assured of an option I always love... The NORTHERN outpost from Akron... Ive receipts from this place yearly for the last 10 years and Ive never had an issue. Quick and easy if you know the place - if not (clevelanders who havent ever done Skyway or Swensons) then start simple with plain cheeseburger and work up from there...

I love the food but seriously NO REFILLS on soda? I got 4 cups completely full of ice and we all took about 2/3 drinks and it was gone. Asked about refills and they said we dont give refills. You can purchase another soda (another cup of ice Im sure) so before you go here stop at Mcdonalds and get A large soda for a buck. At least it will last through the meal. Great food otherwise

Love it here. Best shakes around, though Im not huge on their strawberry. Vanilla and banana are my favorite. Crispy fries and juicy burgers. Servers are always friendly and running as quick as they can to serve you. I missed this place so much when I was studying abroad in Spain that it was my first meal once I came back to the States!

Gally Boy is one of the best fast food (not fast casual) burgers you can get. It is just perfection on a toasted buttery bun. Most of the sides are very average but sometimes I do get the craving for the Jalapeno Poppers. I wish there was one closer to me, but at the same time, I would probably end up going more often than I should.

Ive been coming for years. A great company with some of the best burgers you could ask for. Rivals anything you could get on the east or west coast or anything in between. It has been the place for major movie premieres and outings with friends. If youre in Northeast Ohio and feel like having a burger this is the place for you.

When they say "Americas Best Burger" they mean it. Im so sad I dont have these in my new home. Just a short 11 hour drive later and Im chowing down on some delicious Gally Boys. The service is always awesome, food hot, and delivered rapidly with a smile. Never change Swensons, youve reached the top.

Classic drive in restaurant with a great veggie burger. Its really tough to find a solid fast food veggie burger. The Garden Boy isnt an amazing patty, but the fixings put it over the top. Be careful in the parking lot because employees run at a frantic pace to provide service. Get a chocolate shake.

I dont really see the big deal about the burger is, tastes like any fast food to me. The onion rings are pretty awesome though, as are the milkshakes (which you can combine multiple flavors into one) and the waiters run around the parking lot taking orders and bringing out food pretty quickly.

The Galley Boy burger was good. Consider adding bacon. It doesnt need it, but its good with it. This is an old-style drive-in where you pull up, and they run over to your car and take your order. They then bring the food to your car, putting the tray on your window if youd like.

Excellent place to grab quick food at a cheap price. Very few places in Northeast Ohio can compete with Swensons in terms of value. This place has excellent food for what you get. The menu is also huge so there is something for everyone in your family.

The food was ok, but the communication piece sucks. The young man kept missing the mark on our order. They move too fast! The upside is he was very apologetic and even offered to give me my money back on part of the order. I just told him he could keep it.

Amazing as always. I havent had Swensons in several years because of moving out of the area. I gladly detoured my work trip just to stop here. I ordered the same burger I used to get and it was just as good as I remembered.
