OMG.. My first time in Mt Vernon. My friends talked so highly of this location. I am going to add I am in the food service industry. When approaching the bar the bar maid, said the food was going to be at least 1 hour and 30 minutes, than on to say we have 2- eight tops and a 10- top.. I as a guest do not care give me your best.. She also went on to serve warm beer .. So disappointed. I have never received this kind of experience and I have been in this industry for 15 plus years...needless to say I have the patience and can wait, but they way it was handled.. So sad for such a great atmosphere..

Warm beer! Owner was behind the bar told me 1 hour 30 minutes for appetizer And then complained about the amount of people coming in for a local pub crawl. She then went on and complained about how a table was ordering steaks. She then told the hostess that the people coming in to drink would have to wait outside and laughed. I will never be back no matter what. What a shame a beautiful place wrong location.

Great service, fantastic wine, and they offer live entertainment. Definitely go when live music is happening. Went a few weeks ago to see a family friend perform and we all had a great time. They also sell wine related stuff such as stoppers, glasses, wine-themed decorations, and more

I visited Winestein yesterday. I tasted 3 beers, which are excellent and unique. The atmosphere and flavor are terrific. The waitress are very warmed. The food is average OK. The chicken salad is good. The price is reasonable.

The two stars are for the wine. Try the Luccio if you like sweet wine, very tasty! As for the food, I was not impressed. The menu is very limited.I had the smallest piece of salmon I have ever seen for $17!

My favorite night to go is Tuesday for sushi night. Always great food and drinks with a fun and laid back atmosphere! Attentive servers and excellent cooks make you want to visit often!

Winestein is well hidden behind the Dan Emmett conference center. The Flatbreads are each delicious. The wine and beer flights are reasonably priced and fun way to sample new tastes.

The wine list is extensive. We ordered and enjoyed the Riesling. Winesteins Chef is excellent! If you want a very good dining experience, I fully recommend Winestein Restaurant!
