The service needs help. We have been there several times and my husband has been there a few times on his lunch hour on a Friday and it wasnt busy at all and he barely got his food and one time he didnt get it at all. He had to leave and go back to work. They felt bad and gave him a gift card to come back but when we did we got served later than people that came in after us and the food wasnt what we were used to at all. They said that the cook didnt get our order so thats why it was late which was the same excuse that my husband didnt get his food at lunch. Of the times that we were there and had these issues, Kane was not working. I feel I need to say that because it always seems to be fine when he is onboard and as a matter of fact, he was called in to help the last time we were there because they were so busy that I think they were overwhelmed by the crowd of people that turned up to listen to Luke Watson. He is really good. I promise you wont be disappointed if you go on a Thursday and listen to this young guy. He brings a great crowd and I hope that if you go you have great food an great service as well.

The atmosphere is very nice, not loud, the servers and tenders are attentive and fast. They even remember what drink you ordered last time. Lots of locals who know each other, as would be expected. As for the food..... the soup of the day is usually VERY good, but the chilli is canned, Ive eaten enough Hormel to know it when I taste it, blech. The chef salad is disappointing with tiny portions of ingredients. The wings are VERY good. I recommend them or any burger. If you eat like a bird, youll love the Rueben, as it has very little pastrami on it, although very tasty. The prices are very reasonable, considering the small portions.

Walked in late (just before 10p) on a Saturday and the very friendly waitress got our order into the kitchen before it closed and onto the table in a very short time. Food was tasty and good portion size. I had a Rueben sandwich and my son had Double burger. Both were delish and served with a side of fries (but many other sides to choose from). Live music cranked up about half way through our meal. Its not a large place so music was loud, as it should be this late on a Saturday. Fun place.

The atmosphere was pretty nice(live band covering popular music through the years), the drinks werent way over-priced, and service was decent despite the crowd. The building and patio where youre allowed to drink outside are pretty small and VERY crowded, since Flappers is kind of a hole in the wall bar. Overall, its a good place to hang out.

The food is really, really good and yet the prices are inexpensive. The french fries are awesome. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a good selection of beers including drafts. They also have a great variety of live bands on the weekends. This is one of my favorite places for a casual dinner.

Flappers? More like crappers worst restruant experience ive ever had food came out after 2 hours with 30 minutes between each persons meal avoid at all costs service is terrible as well as the under cooked food i just want to forget this awful experience i dont know how it has 4.5 stars

Food is great but insanely busy after about noon, my family & I were in town & came here twice. Both times every table was full & they only have one waitress working, can barely get a drink refill. If the place wasnt always understaffed, it would be 5 stars.

45 minute wait to get mediocre food that was not what we ordered. Place was packed, loud and a fun atmosphere, but they were clearly overwhelmed and understaffed. We wont give up on Flappers, but its just not as good as it used to be.

Stay away from the boneless wings; my son had these and the portion was small and "wings" were tiny. Ruben was lacking in meat some part were just bread and topping. The burger was pretty good and the fries were good as well.

Amazing wings. Im just sad they no longer carry Bass for black and tans. But they have several other beers that pair well with Guinness. Awesome bartenders. Great service. They also have great bands that roll through.

Best burger that I have had in a long time. Drinks were good and loved the fries. Weve lived in mount vernon for 20 years and never thought to stop here. They will definitely be getting more of my business!

Great food when the kitchen is open. No late night (after 10) apps or munchies. Drinks are reasonable and the staff is very friendly just wish the kitchen or fryer was open a little later.
