Figured I would write a review to counteract the guy that says the bad reviews are probably lies. This was a good spot and it changed hands around last april. Since then the food we usually get is about the lamest chinese food you can find. The food isnt consistent, beef on sticks suck, ive gotten chicken in rice soup where I ended up with a a container full of rice and a little chicken on top with almost no soup because the rice absorbed it all and the rest of the food is just sub par. As for agee up there asking for brown rice. Every chinese restaurant has literally the exact same menu. This isnt chipotle. It is your fault for not checking the menu.

Ive had issues with China Garden the last two or three times that we dined there as a pickup guest, the food quality has not been the same for months and tonights dinner was the final disappointment. The food is inedible it smelled bad and the chicken was prepared really differently than what I was normal with the cashew chicken, thanks but no thanks.

Ive only eaten there twice in the last year. But I always have good food and I always am filled up. I heard they have new management. I did not know anything about that. Its the best Chinese restaurant in town in my opinion. I used to eat there all the time. And will continue to eat there in the future. I recommend anyone for a good dinner or lunch

Ordered delivery.. it took 1 1/2 hours to arrive. When it did arrive it wasnt hot anymore. Also I ordered brown rice, and instead of telling me they didnt have brown rice they sent my chicken with fried rice. While yes it is brown in color, it is not brown rice. While the chicken/food is very good... I will not be ordering from them again.

Definitely the best Chinese available in Middletown and Ive had them all hundreds of times! Literally. The texture and quality of the food is great and so are the portion sizes. The staff is excellent and very friendly. I wish they had a lunch buffet, but they do have extremely cheap lunch special prices, so it makes up for it.

The food is great, all your standard takeout staples. I go there a couple times a month, the kitchen and dining room are always clean and the service is friendly. One bad experience will turn me off of a place forever; there used to be a few good Chinese restaurants around Middletown but nowadays this is the only one I go to.

Best Chinese food in Middletown hands down, Been going there for years, Food has always been super fresh and delicious. Staff is very friendly and the service is great. Prices are also very reasonable for the portions you get, Orange chicken is my favorite : ) Seriously stop reading reviews and go eat there already.

Best Chinese food in Middletown. Quality of everything ordered has been consistently good over the last 15 years. I wouldnt suggest this as a dining destination, as the decor is sparse at best, but for pickup or delivery this place excels! Expect delivery in about 1/2 the time they tell you on the phone.

My daughter and I just ate at the China Garden and it was very very good. I had the sweet-and-sour pork with refried rice and it was excellent. I will definitely be coming back here again. Definitely give this place try, the people who work there are very nice and very helpful.

General Taos chicken was good as always. Decided to try something new tonight, so got the Pu pu Platter, and what a waste of money! The beef on a stick was dry and tough like it had been sitting out all day and the spare ribs werent any better. Just gross all the way around.

All of the negative reviews are probably lies. Ive never had a bad experience here. Great food and great people. Messed up my order and they fixed it without any issues. So if you dont like it, youre probably just a prick. WHAT? Fight me.

I just ordered from here for first time. The coke I got has more flavor than the food. There are too many onions. The egg rolls dont even have any flavor! Freshly cooked, but no taste whatsoever. Wont order again.
