If youve never visited any Red Robin, this is the review to read. Ive always had a good experience at every one that Ive visited, and this is no different. This place has some of the most amazing burgers. Theyre seasoned just enough to where you taste a burger, not a season-ladened pile of meat. I always order my burgers with "some pink" (medium, unfortunately they cant go any lower than that), but still get a tender burger. Favorites here are the Prime Chophouse burger (provolone, mushrooms, onion straws, a touch of A1 sauce), the Berserker (just a spicy burger all around), Royal Robin (burger + egg = WHY ISNT THIS THE NORM?!!), and the once-available-sadly-no-more Sicilian burger (ever had a large slice of pepperoni and mozzarella on your burger?). My friends consistently order the "plain ol cheeseburger", and are always happy to come back and get the same thing. While theyve changed their policy on never-ending-fries (dont expect to get any before the meal, even if you ask for it: theyll say okay, but never bring them out. This has happened every time Ive been in the past year), it doesnt really matter, because the meals are so filling. And what are you eating so many potatoes for?! In all honesty, though, you owe it to yourself to at least once get their onion rings. Panko encrusted double battered onion rings with Red Robins campfire sauce (mayo and BBQ sauce: its a great new sauce that makes it all taste great). Service is typically very good here, either at the bar, or in the dining area. Once we even brought our 1 year old, and he had grilled cheese bites and veggies that kept him happy. Its a great family restaurant, a great lunch spot, and a great meet-with-friends kind of area. I highly recommend this place if youre in the mood for a memorable burger.

Disappointing at Best. We went to this Red Robin location last night for dinner. The host was very kind and thoughtful. We were seated right away during the peak dinner hour, so that was good. Our waiter comes by a few minutes later, never looking up at us, takes our drink order and a short time later our food order. We ordered an appetizer, a couple of burgers and two kids meals. I had requested to add on a side of Mac and cheese for my daughter, but was told he couldnt/wouldnt do that so I had to order an entire kids meal for my 1yr old. Fine. Ten, maybe fifteen minutes after ordering our waiter returned to our table, again not looking up at us and asks us what we would like. Im not sure you can pretend you were even remotely paying attention at this point. We explain that we already ordered and he then rushes off. When our food finally arrived, maybe twenty minutes after this point, it was not even hot. Normally when we eat at Red Robin the fries, and all food, is served pipping hot. Not the case last night. Everything was lukewarm. By the time my burger showed up, it was a soggy, falling apart mess. We normally really like Red Robin, but we might stay away from this location for a while. I understand that sometimes things just dont go smoothly, it happens, but it was a pretty underwhelming experience for us.

This is exactly what is wrong with America, everyone is just tricking as much money off each other as possible, and your vacant restaurant at dinner time perhaps reflects that. Now look, you guys know your profit margin, but nickel and diming the bill to death leaves a bad taste in the customers mouth. When you expect a bill 33% lower for average food, average service, average atmosphere, it doesnt sit well with people, and paying is the last impression before leaving. We know, Red Robin inst the only place that practices this, but you may just be the best at it, not to mention waitress pushed the sales like they were options not charges so your trainers must be doing there corporate job well...Ready???, sauces like ketchup .75 cents a pop, any fry other than stake 2-3$ extra, Soft drinks were half the price of a meal, alcohol was atrociously expensive, another 2$ charge for trivia that one of my kids must have clicked maybe???, various 2-3$ charges on the bill that were just codes (btw what is 32FRNZ! ???....whatever it is, its wasnt worth $3.49), just sad, Theres profit margin and there is repeat customer, well be proud of your execs, you made your max profit margin off of my family, but we will not be repeat customers.

The good: The seasoning on the fries is delicious. Our refills we piping hot. Everyone we went with loved their food (well, my toddler was feeling ornery, so her opinion want based on the food). The restaurant itself has a very clean, fresh feel inside. The employees were on top of our order and very sweet. The meh: I ordered the ghost pepper burger. It was yummy but barely spicy. There were fried jalapeno bites on it that were amazing though! Also, I ordered the freckled lemonade (pureed strawberries and red raspberries mixed in). The fruit was yummy, but the lemonade itself tasted very watered down. The bad: The layout of the restaurant is horrible! From the parking lot, you have to walk all the way around the building to reach the entrance. Both ways are long, but one is a bit shorter and more handicapped accessible, yet no signs near the parking lot direct you to go that way. Inside, there is little room to walk between tables. And there isnt a trash can near the changing table in the bathrooms.

The wait was brutal for a night with modest traffic. We had a group of 8 and we were quoted 30 mins but waited over an hour. The food, as always, very good. The staff friendly and attentive once seated. Im confident they were unaware of our displeasurable wait. They even came over to verify we had signed in for a table because the wait crowd cycled twice through us. Seating groups of 4 and 5 over and over in front of us made us feel like they werent putting the effort into getting us seated. We felt like instead they waited til a table designed for 8 opened up which by my rough count might be 4 or 5 spots. This is a 4 maybe 5 star spot if your is group is small. I say caution though with a larger group. They dont allow call ahead and seem unprepared to seat more than 5.

We got FOOD POISONING . We went here for Christmas Eve 2012 for what we thought would be a good evening dinner. I had a burger, my brother-in-law had a burger and my wife had a salad. Everything seemed good until we got home where a few hours later all three of us where vomiting, had diarrhea, and a fever through Christmas Eve and Day. Then when I called a manager to inform they seemed unconcerned and without empathy. I find it offensive that the restaurant would shun me after they ruined my Christmas. Something is wrong with their food preparation management and customer service and I will not be back nor would I suggest others to.

My family and I really like this restaurant. It is one of the few that we all agree on. I like that they have such a wide variety of burger options and unlimited sweet potato fries! If youre getting the unlimited sweet potato fries I would recommend ordering another order right after you get your first ones because they have to make them again so it takes a little while. They are delicious though. I wouldnt say that this is the best burger I have ever had but it is good and my family always has a good time when we go.
