First let me start off by saying that my mother and I frequent little chinese take out places such as these. Usually, the service is relatively good and the food better. This time however, we were both incredibley disappointed. Our initial run in with the god awful woman behind the counter was a bust. She was an astonishingly rude individual. Not only that, with the open kitched you could see the unsanitary conditions they were working in... and even hear kids in the back! As a former manager at a restaraunt, I know this is NOT allowed in the work place. After ordering our food we waited... some people came in and picked up to go orders so, I figured this place HAS to be good.. right ? When our food came it looked less than appetizing. I ordered won ton soup, crab rangoon, and hunan chicken. My mom ordered the schezuan shrimp.. BOTH of us got double meat causing and up charge. Not a big deal at all, completely expected. So they shoved ALL of our food onto this plate. As my mom tried to dig in, it was falling on the table because it was so over stuffed. GREAT PORTION SIZES, however.. Im positive they werent hurting for two plates considering no one else was eating in... I let this slide. As soon as both of us took a bite we were incredibley disappointed... the food was definitely not fresh. The brocoli wasnt cooked AT ALL, the sauce was bland... these are supposed to be spicier dishes.. I would feel safe feeding it to my neices...... definitely not satisfied. The won ton soup looked really old... the won tons dried out and the crab rangoon.. well I didnt even want to touch them. Needless to say we quite literally took ONE bite of our meal... We discussed that we wanted to go somewhere else. Very sad we couldnt enjoy our tradition of eating chinese and there are no other places in the area. Walking up to the counter my mom politely told the woman that shed like a refund and we only took one bite and werent happy with the food. The woman proceeded to SCREAM at my mother. Shocked I stood up and began to take the food back to the counter, just so I could be closer to her. She said she could only refund half and that we didnt know what we were talking about. She proceeded to call the owner and yell into the phone about us while we were standing right there. My mother and I just gaped at her... was this REALLY happening ? My mother got on the phone with the owner and while trying to explain to him that this wasnt just some ploy to get our money back, HE proceeded to yell at her too. I couldnt watch any longer as I said, Ive run restaraunts... I took the phone from my mom and politely tried to talk to the man and get our money back. He yelled at me as well, even calling out the fact that I was an AMERICAN and I didnt know what I was talking about. There was no hope for refunding our 26 dollars.... I could see that. We tried to get the half back she promised us but she wouldnt give it to us now.. we were in complete dismay. Before things escalated, we turned and walked out. Not before she told us to call the cops. I dont know if the area is just used to these kind of people or treatment, but I literally am shocked at the positive reviews on this page.... leaving a very bad taste in my mouth for the Marysville area.. LITERALLY. We left hungry and out 26 dollars... Ive never been so mistreated at a restaraunt... I cant fathom how they can still be open for business after seeing this place. We wont be returning and we will be letting people know of this horendous place. Everyone I meet, the police as she asked (and stole our money), and the health department as well. I suggest driving the extra 15 miles to Chinese place else where... or roosters.

I tried this place several times since I had a few co-workers that like it but I really cant see the appeal. Honestly, Im thinking the only reason this place is still in business is because the only other chinese place in Marysville is a buffet. Pros- 1.They have big portions. Cons- 1.What good is a big portion if the food is bland and sometimes down right gross. 2.I would bet a good hunk of money that MSG is in pretty much everything here. 3.Food made me feel sick the past times I tried it. 4.At the very least I know their rangoon is frozen then heated who know what else is like that. 5.Their sauce is like something youd get in a cheap tv dinner. 6.They are very rude. Everytime I have been there I have felt like Im a nuisance to the woman behind the counter which is totally ridiculous. Customers are the reason you stay open maybe you should consider at least pretending you want them there. 7.They have not once cooked the vegetables correctly, it is always mushy or still partially cold which Im guessing means they are frozen vegetables. I will not be coming back and I will be telling anyone who wants Chinese to avoid the China Wok. I can make better Chinese at home.

Dinner portions are big. I made three meals out of one dinner portion. sesame shrimp was delicious, lots of sauce, so all your rice could be used without making the dish dry. This place is busy. Waited 25 minutes for takeout on a Tuesday but 5 people picked up food while I waited, so they have a large customer base. Price was that of a normal Chinese takeout. :) cheap.

Very rude guy at the counter, he shes no respect to the people that pay his check ever week. The chicken must be processed because it is chewy and fatty. They need to get a new supplier because right now their quality of chicken is cheap. They give you big portions so that you feel like you got a good deal, that is until you read their food. Never going back

One of the best tasting Chinese restaurants Ive had the pleasure of trying. The General Tsos they have is the best Ive had. The sauce is superb. Crab Rangoon is also superb. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a LAN authentic Chinese meal for take out. I also recommend you call and place your order ahead of time.

I have tried the place twice since moving here. Both times my general tsos chicken was way overcooked. I got take-out with my wife and her tofu dish was really bad. We ended up throwing it away. The food is cheap and they have alot of menu options. The food was surprisingly bland for a chinese place.

This is the best Chinese food Ive ever had. I now drive 25 minutes and pass atleast 12 other Chinese restaurants that are close just to get Chinese food from China wok in marysville, atleast once a week.

I came in today for lunch, and good sized portion, served hot. Food was rather bland ( General Tso chicken ) and fried rice was very dull with a few onions and peas. Im not impressed.

Food is great at a reasonable price, but the red haired kid running the phone and register is very rude. Never thanked me once, and seems to put looking at his phone above customers.

Had takeout, it was some noodles with beef (forgot what theyre called). Tasty and got a few meals out of it. Bit pricey, but Id say worth it. At least fit takeout.
