This has to be the WORSE Tropical Smoothie around! Whether you go through drive through or inside, pack your patience. Yesterday I decided to go inside and the place was fairly empty, my son and I ordered our smoothies and 5 people ordered after us. Well those 5 people received their smoothies and food items while we continued to wait. Upon bringing this to the attention of the staff, our smoothies were quickly made and we went on our way, 25 minutes after ordering. As I rushed to my destination, I finally had a sip of my smoothie and it tasted like water with a hint of kale (I ordered the Totally Green with coconut and pineapple added for flavor). I called and spoke with the DM, Jean, who is very rude and unhelpful and based on other reviews Im surprised hes still employed there. He told me I would need to come all the way back to the establishment for a refund or to have another smoothie made; however, by this time, I was at least 5 miles away and on the freeway. Long story short, customer service is nonexistent at this location! I will never spend my money there again. Additionally, Ill be returning my smoothie from yesterday for a refund as demanded by Jean. Changes to management clearly need to be made.

Yesterday was my 1st time going to TSC and the staff was moving fast to get the orders out but today when I went the staff was moving slow except for the female that was working the drive thru. The other females were moving slow and the cashier was taking orders and making smoothies. I waited for about 15 to 20 minutes and had to ask if my order was up next. They were not organized like yesterday and there wasnt any smiles on their faces but they did speak when you walked in. I feel the staff needs more training and more people to be on duty expecially during the lunch rush. I will say I will be going back but not at their busy times.

I work right by this location and myself and my co-workers come often. The service seems to have gotten a little faster but I will still leave if there are a few cars ahead of me. There are a few people here that are somewhat friendly but most of the employees we have interacted with are rude. We will go through the drive-thru and have called in orders. We always feel like we are inconveniencing them even when we only have 1 or 2 smoothie orders. We are all always polite to them and we would like to continue to go here because the food and smoothies are good but our trip are less and less because of the bad service

This a terrible store to visit, or apply to. The managers are always having employees waiting hours to finally clock in, and always having the rest of the staff run around the store instead doing their own job. The general manager touches the employees too much, gets upset when you tell him to stop. The other new lady manager steals from the store.. They do not care about the customers until they finally get a complaint. The food they order is always dirty with dirt on it or bugs mixed in. The managers talk about every customer and employee behind their backs. ( always trying to hire women).

Alright I just left the Southfield TSC and I have something to say lol. Im obsessed with TSC and theres not many around. This particular location is closest for me, but makes me want to stop going. Its always a huge wait and so unorganized. They have you pull forward and they bring it out to you, which would be fine, except that have to go from car to car trying to figure out what car gets what. Its frustrating every time I have gone there which is many times. Need an efficient shift manager or something. I know other people that dont go to this location for these reasons. End rant.

2/10 customer service was very sub-par. Dont get me wrong the smoothie was great but not worth the 35 minute wait for one of the most basic smoothies on the menu. After a long time of waiting I went back up to register and asked if they where working on it, they didnt even remember when or what I ordered and claimed "uh our printer broke we didnt see it" then make my smoothie now how bout? Still took them another 5 minutes because they gave the one they made right after I aksed to some one in the drive thru. Just an overall frustrating experience

So disgusted. I will be contacting corporate tomorrow.i ordered a small acai berry smoothie and once i got towards the bottom of my cup i saw chunks and i thought it was the smoothie, but it was freaking receipt paper that had been sogged in my smoothie....never have i ever experienced something like this before.... the ink was faded on the receipts and i had just been drinking it... and the service was slow, i waited 10 minutes just for a smoothie and it wasnt even busy. HIGHLY UPSET. and whoever is running this is doing a horrible job

Good smoothies, terrible staff.... Very rude, unhappy. The place was pretty dirty, and it was open only for an hour when I got there! I noticed the touch screens not cleaned and the cashier taking money and not washing her hands between making smoothies.. Pretty gross! In addition she was slamming the items around and seemed to bat want to be there.... Heres a hint... Dont work for customer service! They need to fire the staff and bring in a new staff.. They should be unemployed. Im not going back there...

I have been to multiple tropical smoothie cafes in the past. By far this was the filthiest place I have been to. I had to remind the guy I seen making my smoothie that he forgot the extra scoop of protein I paid for. He grabbed the fat burner vitamin with his bare fingers and put it in the blender. I couldnt believe what I just seen. Just makes me think about all the people that order online or from the drive through that you may not be getting what you paid for. I will never visit this location again.

This place cracks me up. I always have to wait 4x as long for a smoothie when I walk in there because they have zero quality control and direction. Theyre workers are forgetful always, literally always, having to ask me twice what I ordered while Im waiting. Not to mention theyre always scatter brained running around putting this fruit in that blender and then this in that and run this blender and this grinder and yada yada but somehow in all the chaos one smoothie makes it out late as all hell.

This location does not live up to their potential. I love Tropical Smoothie Cafe, however, at this particular location their customer service is very poor, they always seem to have an issue with a customer & my smoothie tasted like it was made with nasty TAP water. Extremely disappointed and will be going to surrounding locations who do a great job instead such as their new Southfield location off of evergreen and 696.

Typically good service however, avoid this place if they are busy. My wife received a smoothie that obviously came from a lightly washed pitcher. She is allergic to pineapple and there was no pineapple supposed to be in the smoothie she ordered however, when she drank it it made her break out in an allergic reaction and it also tasted and looked like spoiled blueberries despite having no blueberries in the recipe.
