I pass this tavern 10 plus times a week and have always wanted to stop. I was recently able to go for lunch with my wife and brother. The inside is reminiscent of a sea side bar/grille (fitting as it is perched on the edge of Twin East). The outside includes and nice eating area and bar. The only negative aspect I noticed was the smell. We were near the restrooms, and a light stale urine smell seemed to creep out from that area. The lunch menu has a good variety of seafood and bar staples. Calamari, Alligator, Fish, etc. My group ordered an appetizer of calamari and alligator. The actual entrees feature clam strips, lobster salad, burgers, salads, fried fish etc. We ordered a burger, lobster salad wrap, and fried fish. The burger was okay, I did not think it was anything special. Frozen patty served with what appeared to be store bought potato chips. The fried fish though was wonderful as were the fries. The lobster salad wrap was excellent. It is quite different than the types I have had in Maine, but it was top to bottom lobster. The pasta salad served with it was good but had way too much dressing. The prices at lunch time are reasonable, but be aware the dinner menu appeared to run 25-40 per entree with offerings of premium fish/steak.

The seafood was delicious but the service and other components of the meal were below sub-par. When we spend about $30/dinner, we expect more than the cheapest grocery store white rolls and a salad better than huge chunks of iceberg lettuce. Overall, the dinner was very disappointing. We were fortunate to have a table by the window and the view was nice there but other places in the tavern dont have that view and are pretty dark. We will not be back.

Not sure why this place has 4 stars. Went here for dinner the other night with family and ordered a lobster entree. Completely overpriced and was hard rubber. Obviously frozen so I sent it back. Owner was very unprofessional and acted like a burnout. That is fine, but not when you are paying $30 a plate. Their side of vegatables was literally one broccoli spear and one cauliflower spear. Maybe Ill go here for drinks, but never for the food.

I come here for the Wraps, chicken and lobster. Ample servings at a reasonable price. I like the burgers, very tasty always done the way I like them. The atmosphere is great. Out side bar and seating if you would prefer that over the dining area and bar. Great view of the lake from the bar, and if you like there are tables with the same view through very large picture windows.

One of the best views inland in Northeast Ohio and probably the worst food around. Expensive hamburgers on Lawsons buns and not much else with them. Onion rings that were deep fried in something dark brown. If you like loud rap music and a relaxing view of a lake than you might go here. Dont eat the food outside just have a beer that way you atleast know whats coming out of bottle.

This is such a cool destination spot. Pull up on your motorcycle or in the car. The setting is really pretty over the lake yet there is a casual neighborhood feel. The outside bar is a fun place for summer drinks, the clam chowder is yummy and the people are nice. Definitely one of the draws of the neighborhood.

The tavern is a local landmark, right off of Rt 43, you cant miss it. Its not a fancy place but its not a dive either. The place shows its age but its got character. The atmosphere is casual, the service friendly and the food good. There are some great views of the lake, both from the restaurant and patio.

This was quite the find. I was recommended this restaurant by my boss and was a little worried about the prices. The Food is great and the prices are great. The seafood here blew my expectations away. It is very busy on the weekends and during the week in the warmer months.

Very good atmospheric sea food place. Its in a beautiful location and is reasonably priced. Very Rustic which can be a turn off to some, but its worth a trip. A little piece of the upper East Coast in Akrons backyard.

Slow service. Waitress disappears more often than David Copperfield! One table waited so long they left. If you are going for a graduation celebration start their JR. year!! You may finish when they are a Sr.

Owner a disgrace to this establishment. food quality sucks server staff need to move a little faster and not socialize with other employees while your food is in the kitchen getting cold.

A favorite hang out of mine for years, if youre looking for good food and a nice local atmosphere this is the place. If youre expecting a 5 star dining experience than go somewhere else.

The wait for food was very long but the waitresses apologized, and the food was very delicious! The atmosphere was peaceful and the music was a 80s vibe. I would come back here.

The great food and lake view make up for service that isnt always the best. This is a good place to go for dinner, or later for drinks and the jukebox.

Food is awesome. Crablegs are very tasty. Prices about average. Get reservations on the weekend. Servers can be a bit stuckup at times.
