Something goes wrong with my meal about 50% of the time I go here. The food is usually pretty good, so thats a bonus, but theres always an issue somewhere that makes it a poor dining experience. The last two times I went were as follows: I went with my friend when it was slow during the daytime and we were seated in a totally empty section. Apparently no one informed our waitress that someone had been seated in her section and none of the multiple bar servers hanging around thought to go and tell her, so we waited for a solid 20 minutes before she even knew we were there! I ordered a salad and the kitchen left out one of three ingredients: croutons (the other two being chicken and lettuce). Not a big deal, but when youre already cranky about being forgotten it just kinda seals the deal. We went again yesterday in a group of four. My three friends got burgers and I got a pizza. Their food came out all at once, and I got nothing. After 15 minutes (yes, we timed it) we inquired about my pizza and were told it was nearly done cooking and would be brought out shortly. By the time I got it my friends had already finished eating. If someones meal takes longer to cook than the others, you delay the cooking of the other meals so that they all come out together! You dont let someone sit for 15 minutes without food while the rest of the table has been served. I probably would give this place two stars, but like I said, the food is usually pretty good. Just dont go for the bruschetta; its literally two slices of soggy Garlic Texas Toast with balsamic dressing and a few chopped tomatoes sprinkled on top.

The atmosphere was cool, and I liked the patio, however the service sucked. My younger brothers girlfriend and I (they are both KSU students) took him out for his big 21st, we had planned on spending a few hours in Paninis, ordering food and having several drinks. The waitress rushed us (even though they were dead, it was a Sunday and KSU is already out for the summer) and after bringing us our food and one round of drinks, she quickly ran back over with our checks, without even asking if we wanted anything else (and she knew it was his birthday). She then went back over to gab with the hostess, which she had been doing throughout the whole duration of our visit. It was kind of rude, and we felt unwelcome, and we would have stayed for a few hours buying way more food and drinks. So I guess if they could train any new staff a little better, overall it would be a pretty nice place. We didnt want to ruin my brothers special night, so we decided to walk over to the Water Street Tavern, where we were given better service, and not made to feel like they didnt want our business.

Terrible service all around, mind we did have a large group of 9 which consisted of 3 kids and 6 adults but hostess and manager originally informed us it would be 35-45 minutes for a table. An hour later checked status and no inclination where they can sit us and that we still had 2 groups ahead of us, manager was very cocky and did not care. Well after 2.25 hours sitting at the bar area with drinks and appetizers finally got a seated and explained to the waitress and assistant manager our dilemma but it did not matter. Took another hour or so to get our dinners and by that time everyone on our table was furious and just wanted to get out of there. They could have handled this experience much better by communicating to us and possibly suggesting to break up the group and sit us closer together. 3 hour 45 min. dinner totally not worth it in this place........

My husband and I have been to paninis quite often since they opened, we have always have had slow but good service. Not the case today, we were seated quickly and forgotten about. In the meantime the 6 young girls who were dressed as waitresses stood around talking about their conquests the night before. After 20 minutes of blatantly being ignored, no one even took a drink order, we decided to leave, as we were leaving they decided to jump to help us. I called to speak to the manager as he has always been accommodating but the girl just kept hanging up on me. We have never had a bad experience up until now, we often meet in large groups to all get together, maybe we should rethink our location or just maybe the waitress can talk about getting "laid" on their own time.

I came in with a party of 13 After a Kent State graduation. The food took 45 minutes to come out and there was no sense or urgency from staff or manager. The explanation provided was that people had tickets before us and will have our food in another 20 minutes. I was so upset I cancelled my portion of the order and left. I left not because I was impatient but because no one informed us of the progress of our order while we waited. In addition, the manager did not make any accommodations or was concerned that we were upset about the length of time of getting food.

First chain cigar smokers on patio. Moved to bar. Kick out of bar because we had kids. Moved to a table of 2 with 4. Food below average. Went entire meal with out a drink. Saw it it was at the var for 15 min. Plus. Waitress tried to serve it to me. Will never go back. To many mistakes in one nite of dining...sub par food for price. Bad service. And who allows 4 guys to smoke cigars in a restaurant patio. And make a family of 4 seam like a outcast for wanting to move.

Great outdoor seating. Ive visited several times as this location has big screens everywhere and is a good spot to watch a game. The food has always been average at best. On my last visit I was able to get an order of wings prepared crispy, instead of the usual rubbery disappoint usually served. They had some new wing sauces on the menu, pretty good wings. This is a spot to choose for its location and atmosphere, not for the food.

I really like this place but I have one complaint. One time I ordered a root beer and water. I thought I ordered two different drinks. The server thought I ordered half of each but in the same cup. I would remove a star for this but I informed her of the issue. She rectified it and things went on as normal. Stellar staff that owns up to their mistakes is something I really appreciate. Also the food tastes very good.

Had to send my burger back twice. Once because there was bacon in it and again because it was undercooked. They threw it in the microwave and sent it back out. It was scorching hot and not good. No manager was ever sent to my table and they didnt even give me a discount. I wrote a complaint on their company website and never heard back from them. This was 2 weeks ago. I will not waste my time there again.

The food was Ok. Pastrami sandwich was good but a little dry. Fries were good. Spinach Artichoke dip was not very good. Tasted like something out of a can would taste. Took 45 minutes to get our food, which seemed a little excessive considering it wasnt very busy. Also ordered a drink that wasnt made right and was quite watered down. Overall, a little pricey and not too impressive, just acceptable.
