My husband was craving wings. I was in the mood for a burger. We didnt want to go to a typical chain and stumbled across this place on Yelp. What a find!!!! Oblivion Taproom is a grungy hole-in-the-wall type neighborhood restaurant that makes you relax the second you walk in. The kind of place where your server might cuss a bit, but its totally cool. There might be some belly dancers finishing up a performance as you walk in (random!), a couch your server is hanging out on and an oversized TV showing the latest football game. Its a little bit of everything and it very much works. There is nothing corporate here! We started the night with shots of apple pie rum and while tasty, the liquor needs to be ice cold instead of room temperature. They had mentioned they just got their liquor license so they are probably working out the kinks. We also enjoyed some craft beer. The star of the evening was the food though. While the menu reads like typical bar food the quality is top notch. There is a true chef in the kitchen, and it shows! We shared the smoked dry rub wings which were INSANE. Our (very knowledgeable) server convinced us to order the wing sauce on the side because the dry rub was so delicious we probably wouldnt want it. She was so right! There were so many layers of flavors to the rub from brown sugar to something that left a bit of heat on the back of your tongue. SO good! Just order it. For the burgers I ordered the Skinny Puppy with a meat patty and a side of the tots. The burger was juicy, flavorful, cooked to perfection and just perfect in every way. The same could be said for the tots! Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Yum! Hubby ordered the Godzilla with onion rings and it was incredible as well! The hostess was a doll, our server was incredible and the food was out-of-this-world. The next time we are in the mood for a burger and wings this is where we will be at!

When oblivion first opened I was blown away with their huge craft beer selection and how good good their food was. They had a pretzel burger that was amazing, homemade ketchup and awesome tater tots and onion rings. Since then they have gone through different chefs and menu changes. I have never had a good experience after the first couple since it opened. The food is over priced, they dont have onion rings anymore, and they now have almost three pages of cider on their beer menu. The fact that there is only one and a half pages for craft beer now is seriously disappointing. The last time I went was the last straw. Our server was rude (although all the other times I have been their the service has been great) and our food was terrible. I got the bacon nachos as an appetizer which was essentially me paying $10.00 for a plate of tortilla chips, gritty beer cheese, and not even half a table spoon of bacon bits sprinkled on there. My burger (the magic mushroom) was over cooked and the bread was soggy. It was overall very disappointing. I have officially lost all hope that Oblivion will be how it was when it first open. A real shame.

Went on a Saturday night Was there from around mid night to around 1 It was absolutely dead The food was ok The menu makes you super excited for the food The Mac and cheese balls were banging But the burgers were kinda sad The tots seemed a little greasy and the ketchup they make in house is wayyyyy to sweet for me I had a burger that had pulled pork and bacon and onions on it The BBQ sauce on the pork was too sweetie me as well and the bacon was just super floppy He had the Godzilla He was surprised when it arrived but I think he just didnt read the menu very well so I cant fault oblivion for him not understanding the ingredients A grown man should know what pork belly is lol We got a side of beer cheese for our tots It wasnt bad but wasnt stellar either It wasnt bad but we had heard such great things and the menu seemed great Really high end ingredients and house made everything it seemed Very unique and professional But it didnt quite meet the expectations it set So Im not sure we would go again Too many other late night burgers available Ones where the ketchup wont wreck your mouth

I have lived around the corner from this place forever and didnt know about it. I went there with a friend today and the food was amazing. From the batter they used on the onion rings to the idea to substitute mac and cheese for the cheese on a special menu burger, this place stands out. I wish I had known about this place sooner but it is definitely my go to burger place from now on.... I cant remember the last time I ordered a medium burger and actually got a medium burger and that goes for restaurants big, small, expensive and cheap. This place nailed every item my friend and i ordered, my only regret was not having a bigger stomach to eat it all. My compliments to the person who wrote the menu and the chef preparing it. Keep it up! My one suggestion would be to figure out a way to advertise more because I didnt even know it was there. Great beer selection. Great service.

If you’re looking for a place to hangout with friends who LOVE CRAFT BEER, INTERESTING FOOD CREATIONS, all within a PUNK ARTSY, DARK YET FUN ATMOSPHERE—Oblivion Taproom it is! However they often have a video playing on the large screen which can totally captivate your friends away from conversation AND MAY NOT BE APPROPRIATE FOR KIDS. (Not bad things. Just thought I’d warn you). The food are better versions of sports-bar food such as the I’m-gonna-regret-this-later-but-it’s-so-delicious FRIED MAC & CHEESE BALLS covered in Buffalo and Ranch. All the Burgers were mouth-wateringly described but we took the Whole Hog (Pork, Ham, Bacon, Appl e Chutney and BBQ sauce). The list of taps, bottles and cans is huge and varied. PLENTY OF CRAFTS BOTH LOCAL AND FAR with good descriptions to help you decide. There’s also some Wine and Mead if that’s your style but not a lot.

Dont let the unassuming exterior fool you - Oblivion is one of the best local dining establishments on the East(ish) side of Orlando, combining a relatively static menu of burgers and munchies with an ever-changing kaleidoscope of excellent beer. The burgers are monsters: each an individual experience to be savored, all uncompromisingly delicious. Most (if not all) of their condiments are made in-house - the mustard is some of the best Ive had, and the ketchup delightfully smokey. The interior is a trip, with a rocker vibe that echoes imagery from dios de los muertos. Last but not least, they host plenty of special events that provide a wide range of tastes not normally found on the menu. My only legitimate complaint is the occasional slow service, but given the atmosphere and good company, Im never in any rush to leave.

We usually love this place but tonight was a disaster. They had a big party ahead of us and couldnt put food in for 15 mins. Okay no problem we stayed thinking our order would be in except that it was put in and they were so behind we ended up waiting over an hour and left without eating our dinner. We thought 15 minutes and service would be back to normal not 15 minutes and another 1+ hour for food. Music was super loud so my husband and I were shouting back and forth for most of the hour. Womens restroom only had one stall with a working lock (the back stall doesnt latch). We didnt see our waitress for a good 20 mins when we were just ready to cash out without our food since we had an event to attend. It made trying to leave really hard and eventually we flagged down a busboy just to get our waitress.
