Good food great waitresses but the owner is too concerned about getting the next customer seated. Reservations for the party room were made 4 weeks in advanced for our grandmas 90. We made them for 5:00 to close in the back room. Was called the week of the party and was told that we could only have the room till 7:30 because they wanted to seat other people in the back room after that time. We arrived on time but the last person in our group did not receive their food until 7:00. At 7:15 we over heard the owner telling our servers to get us out of there now. From that point on we were rudely rushed and the waitresses were being pushed by the own to make us leave. When we confronted the owner about why we were being pushed out on to the street she attempted to tell us that she was being yelled at by somebody and that she was just the manager. She finally confessed to us that they did not just want to seat other guest in the back room after our party but that they had booked a second party in the back room after us when she told us that originally had the room for the whole night. The owner is a little concerned with over booking her parties instead of showing her customers respect and trying to get her patrons to return ever again. We will never come back.

This is a fun, nice place for a night out. The staff are really great and nice. If youre in a huge rush or havent eaten in days, perhaps another choice is better for you? The food is very good and the prices are only a "wee bit" more than youd pay at a chain. Theres plenty of parking around back. If youd like to relax and enjoy dinner or savor lunch, then this is the place for you. Take your time and let the ambiance of "Old Harrison Ohio" come to you. Ive never had a bad meal here and you can typically walk-in just about any day of the week and be promptly seated. They do take reservations and sometimes have special events, so definitely call ahead if you can. If you want fast food, theres a McDs about 2 miles down (up?) Harrison Ave. I think that the food is worth the wait, which is definitely not bad by any stretch of the imagination. The staff are very friendly and conversational, so if you dont happen to feel "the sense of urgency" you may want to put on your slippers and relax and let the atmosphere work. It is a dining experience, not a drive thru.

Got to have a sampling of Market Street Grille at this years Taste of Cincinnati, and we loved it! When your pregnant wife is on a mission to get some crab cakes, you dont mess around. She took one look at what Market Street was dishing out, and said - "yup, come to mama!" Hot, crispy, lots of crab, a great crunch to them, and the lobster mayo was fantastic. From their menu: CRISP FRIED MARYLAND CRAB CAKES Tender crab cake cooked golden brown and served with fresh cucumber noodles and red chili lobster mayonnaise. When you walk the entire row of Taste of Cincinnati, and your wife doesnt want to buy anything else. She just wants a second helping of crab cakes from Market Street, then you know they are doing something right. The people were friendly, and my only regret is that Harrison is so far away from us in Northern Kentucky. But, if were ever out that way, you can be sure this place is on my list.

Several family members went to Market Street Grill for the Mothers Day buffet. The service was bad. Shortly after we got there we told the server that we were waiting for one other family to arrive, and she informed us that we needed to quickly eat and get out because they had other people coming for our table! Most of the food was not very good, and several times we went to get something and were told that we would have to wait until they finished cooking or preparing it!!!!! We used to go to this restaurant a lot for dinner and the brunch buffet, but after this experience, we will not return. We didnt feel welcomed at all. And the price was outrageous for the quality of the food and service. And the gratuity was added right to our bill, so we didnt even have the option to show our displeasure through our tip. Too bad that their quality has gone down over the last year or so.

My husband and I love this local restaurant. The food is always delicious and the service is friendly. My husbands parents used the Market Street Grille for our wedding rehearsal dinner. We were able to help build our menu for the dinner. There are two different sized rooms to rent for groups/parties. His parents were able to bring in some of their own decorations and cake for the dinner. The woman serving us was absolutely wonderful. She serve our entire party of approx. 20 people without a hitch. She also was very helpful and concerned with me (the stressed bride-to-be) making sure I had everything I needed. This is truly a wonderful restaurant that feels like home. I suggest it for brunch, dinner, and special events.

I had the Grouper with the mango salsa over the wild rice with steamed vegetables. It was absolutely delicious. The grouper was light, and the salsa was a tasty surprise. My husband had the prime rib. He said that it tasted very good, but it was a bit fatty. We took home desserts, which were very good, but the size of the slices were smaller than I expected.

Excellent Reuben sandwich, a beer selection that is not extensive but all good choices, and a full bar. The interior decor was a huge surprise, in a good way. I stopped by for lunch on a Saturday after the rush, and had a nice, relaxing meal. The staff was courteous and timely. All in all, I enjoyed my experience and will definitely return.

The worst food I have ever had. And I used to work-eat-play in Clifton. I asked for my steak medium-rare and it was well done. A surf and turf is a horrible steak and 4 kroger bought shrimp. When has a surf and turf been anything less than lobster or crab? I could even see prawns--but 4 small shrimp for $25? No thanks. I will not be back.

The Sam Adams Fish Sandwich is incredible. Service & food were excellent! I recently returned to Market Street Grille and I have to say, I was not disappointed! We stopped in for lunch. I had the Smokehouse Burger, which was excellent, and my friend had the Spinach Salad. The server was very attentive, it was a great experience!

Went for Sunday brunch buffet. I remember the eggs Benedict and the dessert table which were delicious. The building is very nice with exposed brick and this sort of Victorian antique vibe. Could be a cozy romantic spot at night. It was busy and we didnt have reservations so we waited about 30 mins. I would say its worth the wait.

Im stunned at the negative reviews of the food at this restaurant. I think the food is phenomenal. I especially love their soups and salmon dinner. Im also a big fan of the breakfast buffet on Sunday. Compared to every other restaurant in the Harrison area, the Market Street is far and away the best.
