They opened their second location in my apartment complexs leasing space and I have known many people who work or worked there. Their cupcakes are the only good thing about this establishment. They advertise as a tea salon yet know nothing about preparing tea (they steep every tea for the same 4 minutes regardless of the variety of tea- this is a huge no-no in the tea community). However their ignorance of their products is the most mild problem they have. They were 6 months late after continuously pushing back their opening of this location and even still 2 months into being open dont have a full lunch menu which theyve been promising since their opening. They are priced ridiculously high for poor quality food ($8 for 2 sandwiches the size of a dinner rolls with store bought chicken salad on it). Above all the most horrendous part of this establishment is the owner: Ava, who continuously treats her employees like garbage. She texts her employees to tell them if theyre working the next day, is inconsistent with paycheck a and ignores inquiries on the matter from her employees, has screamed at the land lady (who is one of the most decent love able pure women on the planet) and blatantly treats her employees with disrespect. She recently fired a friend of mine VIA TEXT MESSAGE *extremely unprofessional* because the employee was sitting down when she had been given expressed permission previously that if there were no customers she could sit down AND she had been waiting 20 minutes past her shift with everything accomplished for the OWNER to take the next shift which the owner was late for. I have never witnessed such a disrespectful irresponsible unprofessional employer than this Ava woman. PLEASE do not take your business here!!!

The family and I had dinner at Creekside and went into Koko to check it out- what a wonderful find! The best gluten free, no, the best cupcake, gluten free or otherwise, we agreed we had ever had! My niece has food allergies so we need to have gluten free baked goods for her and we have never had anything like this! Everything is very moist and light, not too sweet and very flavorful. I also had a passion fruit boba tea which was ridiculously good and Dad loved the Hawaiian coffee. Beautiful setting- looks like a dollhouse, super friendly and helpful staff. Seriously great find, highly recommend!

My friend and I visited the establishment one afternoon. With cases full of bakery items, we were told they didnt have anything to eat. A marker board mentioned quiche, which we were told was just warmed up if they had any (which after my friend asked several times we were finally told they didnt have any). Since it was a hot summer day, we both ordered cold drinks, which were good. Neither my friend nor I have any interest in returning based on the poor communication and service.

Went in expecting a nice cheery little bakery and tea salon like Zencha but nah. The place looked so dreary and dead, bakery goods looked untouched and were waaay overpriced, and the worker looked miserable. My coworkers have even said they hate eating and working there. I bought a cookie because I wanted something sweet and it was the only thing not super pricey. I could have made a better one from pillsbury.

Ive purchased a french macaron here once and it was extremely pricey. The prices here are very high for what they are worth. The owner Ava is very unprofessional, rude and lacks general management skills. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone in regards to eating, or a job. It seems that the employees come and go which is not a good sign.

Love Ava, her tea and cupcakes. I know that her grandmother from Hawaii would be so proud!! We are blessed to have her in Central Ohio. She uses natural ingredients such as beet juice instead of red dye for her red velvet cupcakes and brings the skills of the biomedical engineering degree which she holds to the art of her passion for baking.

Delish is all I can say! The best macarons Ive had since my sister and I went to Paris! We stopped in after walking at Creekside and had an amazing Lavender bubble tea. The staff was really nice and offered us a sample of their red velvet cupcake that was on the food network. Great find in Gahanna and we will be back!

I was going to write about how the owner is incredibly rude and stuck up, tea was average, food below average. The owner is just an awful person, and like the majority of the comments, everyone seemed miserable. I would never come back there and they do not deserve the positive attention they did get.

An absolute GEM of a bakery and tea/coffee cafe! The interesting thing is all of their incredibly delightful cupcakes, macarons, pastry twists (the cinnamon and the cheese varieties are WOW when warm!) and the quiches and everything else is also gluten free! Absolutely worthwhile to find and dine...

Slightly expensive for Gahanna area in my opinion but they serve a great cupcake and good macaroon. Cute sitting area is available, but take out is also an option. The cake batter flavors are my favorite, as well as the chocolate cupcake with peanut butter frosting. Enjoy!

When you walk in you feel like the building is about to fall apart. The workers never are friendly and dont seem to enjoy their jobs. The baked goods always taste like they have been sitting out for a couple days. The tea is good but not worth the money.

A little hole in the wall, with the best cupcake I have ever had. They use traditional recipes without filling everything with sugar. Their bubble tea is really good, and the lady owning the place is really nice and helpful. I will return for sure...

They dont have bathrooms. The drinks are overpriced for how average they taste. They only have one small room to enjoy your tea/coffee/dessert. It seems like a great place to order desserts to go but not really place to hang out. They do have Wi-Fi.

Baked goods are fantastic- especially the macs and cupcakes. Bubble tea is the best Ive had- try the lavender. Super cute space, very floral and pretty. Staff was wonderful and it smelled really good when I walked in. Great experience overall.

Ava is a terrible business owner and a genuinely rude lady. She puts gluten in her gluten free cupcakes. She also is incredibly rude to her customers. Dont make a mistake by going to kokos and dont support this awful lady! disgusting place!

Disappointed in their prices for a single truffle. Was also very disappointed that their bubble tea contained ice. Ive never been to a place that their bubble tea had ice in it before, and the drink was gone after a few sips.
