Not local, but not pretentious either, but still feels like a neighborhood shop (across the street from UD housing). Fireplace, couch, plenty of work tables. So it is less like a coffee house but a great alternative to the Seattle shops. Free refill if you use their in-house mug! I take my daughter once a week as an after school treat because she loves their muffin and cookie selection.
