Maybe Id give it another chance given all the good reviews but ... went there late afternoon so it wasnt busy. Was served our beers quickly and then ordered our meals - pizza and a chicken parm dinner. Dinners came out but I was supposed to get a salad. Mentioned it but didnt get one immediately. Instead it came about 20 minutes later. Huh? Chicken parm was ok. Garlic breadstick was terrible though . Dry, cold with butter smeared on it. Really disappointing. Husbands pizza was not something Id call a pizza... more a flatbread with meager toppings. This is an Italian family owned restaurant? Really disappointing meal. Glad we didnt wait an hour to be seated. I know this place is popular but our experience wont cause us to return. My search for a good family owned Italian restaurant continues...

Im not sure how Ive lived in Dayton 18 years and Centerville for 2 and Ive never been to Geez. As was said in another review, this place would easily be a 5-star joint if they had a better selection of beer. I was glad to enjoy a Warped Wing Trotwood, but that seemed to be as exotic as I was going to see. Stopped in on Monday night and apparently that is Calzone Night which turned out to be great timing (although at $11.99, it is a questionable value.) Super crispy wings rounded out my uber-healthy meal and they were simply fantastic. If Geez opens its doors to more beer options, this place could easily be a 5-star option tucked discretely off the main 48 thoroughfare.

Love Geez! Its quaint, comfortable and has great food with daily specials and additional items on the board. Im there once a week. The burgers are excellent, salmon is great, walleye fingers are very good. The staff is friendly, helpful and well informed. Tonight I brought home a pc of Italian Love Cake. Wow, the homemade desserts are outstanding, so save room. They are large enough to split. We love Lisa, our favourite bartender. She is the face of Geez during the day until 7 pm. If youve not been to Geez, youre missing something really special.

Great food and friendly atmosphere. Family friendly, but I wouldnt consider it a family restaurant. Its definitely a tavern sports bar with a predominantly 40+ crowd. But if you bring your kids in nobodys going to complain.
