Ive been eating at Lai Lai since late last year. If you are looking for some sort of greasy line item buffet with cream cheese puffs youre in the wrong place. Lai Lais family run restaurant is superbly authentic and freshly prepared dishes. Ive never done the buffet but this is not hte kind of place that I think to go to for a buffet. The spring rolls are delicately prepared and moist. They arent the dry and overgreased hyper-cabbaged rolls that you get in fast food joints. Order two for one person as a nice appetizer You simply must have the chicken lettuce wraps. If you are a person who doesnt like spicy food tell them to make it mild. The Szechuan beef is hands down FANTASTIC. I cant say enough how nice this particular dish is. Other folks in my party had the cashew chicken. To be honest we have never had anything bad. but PLEASE! save room for dessert. The family mother makes these by hand!!!! and theyre gorgeously rich. Lai Lai is a wonderfully delicate and delicious family run restaurant. In hard economic times make certain your money goes to places that matter!

Started with salad. Looks like a side salad with thousand island dressing. Next comes sui mai( a dumpling) and the spicy wonton salad, The sui mamai is a plate with lettuce and some dumplings. The sui mai was nothing like I imagined. 6 small bites on a tiny bit of lettuce. Inside appears to be minced shrimp and something. No description was provided... good thing Im not allergic. It is an okay taste I would order again. The wonton salad has some crushed red pepper so theres a little heat. It is very good! Next the entree comes out. Looks very good. Once again while advertised as spicy the heat level is pretty tame. If Id have know I would have asked for more heat. The sauce is light and I dont taste a lot of garlic, but maybe my taste buds are off today. The scallops were probably medium sized which was nice. The rice is perfectly cooked.

Where do I even start with a place this disastrous. Worst Chinese food Ive ever had in my life. The sushi was served like warm and consisted mostly of over cooked rice. The cream cheese and salmon were hard to find, even with a microscope. The crab Rangoon filling was completely bland and the shell was over-cooked. My main meal was missing two meat components!! The meat that I actually got tasted like it had been microwaved twice a day for three weeks, utter disgrace. I am concvinced that I can make better Chinese food out of my toilet. Do yourself a favor and drive five minutes down the road to a real Chinese food place called Sakana, you WILL NOT be disappointed. Kissho? More like kiss this place goodbye.

We have eaten at the previous incarnation, Lai Lai, many times. It was our favorite Chinese restaurant. Today was the first weve eaten from Kissho. It was a terrible disappointment. The Pad Thai was mediocre, and unlike the menu description had only noodles, onions, a few limp pieces of scallion, a tiny scattering of peanuts, and the meat. Lai Lai used to serve the very best Kung Pao in the city. What we got today was flavorless. Hot and Sour soup tasted empty. Soup Lite? This is now very low end food. We wont be back.

This is probably the best Chinese restaurant Ive eaten at in Central Ohio. The menu is filled with new takes on traditional Chinese food along with the basics. They also have a large selection of delicious desserts. The inside of the restaurant is very nice and clean. The prices are slightly higher than your typical Chinese takeout, but I think its worth a couple extra bucks for higher quality. You cant go wrong eating here.

We ate there on Sunday where they had a lunch buffet, not expecting anything amazing, but at least decent food. We anticipated it would cost about 8 or 9 dollars(normal buffet price), but to our surprise when she brought the check it was 13.95 each!!! The food tasted worse than fast food chinese. We were very disappointed and will not be going back, we will warn others also.

Had a wonderful lunch here today. The restaurant is small but beautiful and cozy. The atmosphere was nice, laid back with great asian music playing. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was great we had the Pad Thai and specialty sushi rolls which were awesome. This will be our #1 spot for sushi. Thank you

Found this place on my nightly search for a late dinner. This restaurant has a pretty bar and dining room, is nice and clean looking and has a nice modern feel. They have a great offering of chinese, thai and sushi on their menu. I ordered sushi to go and loved it. Ill definitely be back to try their pad thai!

We dont eat Chinese anywhere else, any time we do were always disapointed. Yes the buffet is $13.95 but its not Asian Star, its very fresh. They always get my order right and are very friendly. Strongly suggest hot & sour soup, calamari, orange shrimp and a veggie dish, I think its called summer festival.

Went on the recommendation of others, and I was not disappointed. Went for lunch, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was very traditional, and the price is reasonable. Around $7 for the lunch special, which includes soup, an entree and rice. I will be going back when I get the chance.

Waitress was nice, but the food was a disaster. Steak was refrozen couple times, food was under cooked overall. Salad portion was very small (literally small ), the same with soup. And i paid 25$. Next time i will go to chipotle and would cost me twice cheaper.
