My favorite asian food in Lake City has to be Guang Dong at the lake city Mall. I prefer buffets as its cheaper on my wallet. However today I didnt bring my lunch, and needed something quick and close to my job. I went to Fuh King and ordered a small hot and sour soup and a sesame chicken with fried rice and eggroll and a drink. I ordered during their lunch special, so total cost was about $11 and some change. The hot and sour soup was made with chicken and shrimp instead of pork. It was actually spicey and tasted delicious. I love the rendition of the soup! Not to mention the Sesame Chicken was loaded with sauce, and it was delicious. By far best Sesame chicken in town. The staff was very friendly, answered all questions that I had. I ordered to go, and didnt pay much attention to my surroundings. However I do recomment this restuarnt.

Just ate there food is economy style and decent price. They need to enhance the appearance of the dish a bit more. I tried Pepper Chicken- Chicken is not fried more like boiled and dipped in sauce. I saw other dishes being served that looked more appealing. Good service from waiter but current chef needs to spice things up with pepper chicken, perhaps fried and crispy. Might try for a round two to change review. Nice people and big smiles. Also ate at an hour between lunch and dinner so might be reason for food being average probably got what was left of lunch being late.

I originally discovered Fu King Chinese Restaurant on a website for funny and unusual restaurant names. Since I was coming from Jacksonville, I decided to take a detour to try them out just to brag about their name. The staff was very friendly and the food came out promptly. I ordered the General Tao Chicken dinner combo extra spicy and was pretty "Fu King" good. If Im heading back to Jacksonville again, Ill DEFINITELY stop by again.

This is the kind of American Chinese restaurant where old Formica goes to die. The best reason to go here is to visit what Chinese restaurants were in America in 1968 down to the wood paneling and the cheap, plastic decorations. Staff is friendly and service is prompt. Food quality is not great but it is inexpensive and fills the stomach. Novelty T-shirts appear to be a popular item.

I would not recommend this place for dog food. I recently ordered the shrimp fried rice w/ $3.00 extra shrimp and got 5 or 6 on the top and about 5 on the bottom. So what happened to the rest of my shrimp? The world may never know!! On top of that that, the food really sucked and was very dry to the point that the soy sauce couldnt even help it.. Never gonna go there again!!

I ordered two pints of house rice and a order of wings for dinner the rice and meat was so dry and the meat in the rice was very old only 5 shrimp in each pint and the wings was very hard I have never experienced this before a this resturant I usually get very good food but I dont know what the deal was tonight I plan on visiting the resturant in the morning with the food

The sweet and sour chicken is awesome, but so is the sesame and general tsos chicken, I cant decide which Id rather have, and for the people complaining that they have slot of sauce on their main dish and not enough in the rice let me say this, move the sauce into the rice or get over it either way they will still get my money, best Chinese between here and South Florida.

Straight from internet meme lore, the Fu King Chinese Restaurant. Still one of my favorite places to stop on the road for fantastic food, hearty portions, and low price. Love this place so much, I bought one of their t-shirts. Its fantastic, this is the only Chinese restaurant I know of that plays country music over the PA. Love it love it.

Best "authentic-style" fried rice, not dumbed-down yellow rice made for the less cultured pallets like most of the other Chinese restaurants here. Also best fried shrimp-with that sesame oil flavor and battered, not breaded like most of the other Chinese take out places-theirs taste too much like Mrs. Pauls shrimp which I can cook myself.

Still the BEST CHINESE FOOD IN TOWN! I took a friend there yesterday. Generous portions, not greasy right down to the egg rolls.Service was impeccable.If you havent been in a while (like me), you need to give them a try. P.S. They are accessible to wheelchairs. I am disabled. The staff made sure my friend and I were seated comfortably.

I LOVE this restaurant! My Mom went here all the time before I moved down here and I can see why. If I ever get chinese food this is the only place in Lake City that I go to. They have everyone else beat in not only how good the food is, but the prices, and such amazingly friendly staff!

Everything tasted like it sat around for hours. Beef/Chinese vegetables was salty; the fried rice dark brown & dry. The lo mein noodles dry & salty. I tried to get credit, only Id have to drive 15 miles tonight to exchange. Misery for $15 one person serving portion. Never again

The decor is something the 80s vomited. The pork fried rice was obviously the same batch used in an earlier lunch service. The general tao chicken was over cooked and mostly fried breading, and the service left a lot to be desired. Overall this place was Fu king terrible.

HAVE TO SAY THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST CHINESE FOOD IN LAKE CITY. THE PEPPER STEAK IS AMAZING, AS IS MOST OF THE FOOD SERVED THERE. THE STAFF ALWAYS REMEMBERS MY NAME AND MY USUAL ORDER. COULDNT ASK FOR MORE THAN THAT. I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!

Truly amazing...Ive been trying to a lot of Chinese Restaurants and this is the best one in Florida. Service, price and food was perfect. Its always the hole in the wall restaurants that dont disappoint. Get a T-shirt when youre there.

OMG...if I lived next door to Fu King and I didnt have a car, and I was starving, I would hitch hike to China One. The place SMELLS , the food is old dry greasy gross!! Never ever again. How is this place even open?!

The General Tao chicken was plain. The hot and sour soup was just sour and gelled. The moo goo gai pan and chicken chow mein were tasteless. The won ton soup seemed like slightly flavored water. Wont be going back.

It was terrible for a Chinese restaurant . The food was not very good. The service was not all that great. It was very hot in the restaurant. All the Chinese buffets in Lake City have them beat.

Fu King good Chinese food. Good value for portion size- we usually get a second meal from the left overs. Read the menu closely - the Easter Eggs are hilarious
