This place is not what it is hyped up to be. I went here and one girl was too busy talking to customers about her "relationship problems" than she was about doing her job! After she finally came to take my order (which she didnt get right) she proceeded to write down what I wanted...until she began chatting away with people again. At this point I become really impatient with her and ask if she can get the rest of my order. She ignores me and eventually comes back around to take my order. She then sets my pizza on the table and chats while completely forgetting to put it in the oven. At this point I have been here 25 minutes and paid for food that has yet to even see the oven. After 10 minutes of waiting I ask another worker if they can place my pizza in the oven. They actually listened to me and did. Now, I do not know the normal time for a pizza to cook at blaze, but I think 25 minutes is well overcooked. I repeatedly asked the workers to take it out but they were busier chatting and on their cell phones. Once she finally took my pizza out of the oven, it was EXTREMELY and obviously burnt to anyone who has ever eaten pizza. However, this woman proceeds to take a slice of the pizza and eat it, telling me that it is "Just perfectly cooked!" while smiling at me. This was the last straw, I grabbed my burnt pizza and walked out of the restaurant and will never return. The fact that the manager even cursed me out on the phone when I called the next day to report this terrible service is an even better example of how TERRIBLY run this restauruant is!! I am calling the FDA and telling them that there are cockroaches under the tables!!

I had pizza rev last week and loved the style of pizza, so a close friend told me that i would love blaze. WRONG!!! From the moment I came in to the moment I left, I got HORRIBLE service and an ok pizza. The woman that made my pizza down the line was snarky and rude to me, whose name I did not catch. After I paid for my pizza and it came out of the oven, the man who cut my pizza acted like I was the stupidest person he had ever met because he yelled my name out wrong and I didnt come to to retrieve the pizza. When I told the man that I didnt appreciate the way he was talking to me, he began to raise his voice and shout at me. Fortunately, I did get his name and it was David. Unhappy about the service I received, I wanted to speak with the manager who could not be bothered to talk to someone like myself. After having to BEG the man to talk to me, he basically threw a free pizza card at me and walked away mumbling some profanities. He refused to give me his name. He was a tall, skinny, biracial man. This place is a freaking joke!!! McDonalds employees are more respectful than these people!!! NEVER will I come back to this location ever again. I am furious.

So Ive only been to this restaurant a few times, and never really had a problem with the food or customer service. However, I was absolutely taken aback when the cashier made an unwarranted remark about my monetary balance on my debit card. The cost of my meal was $10, leaving me with $15 on my card after the transaction. The cashier then proceeded to say" You better call home if you want to eat here next week." Confused and slightly annoyed, I said, "aha uh, excuse me?" He again repeated "you better call home. You only have $15 left." "Yeah, thanks, Ill be fine" I replied.. Maybe Im overreacting and making a bigger deal out of it then I should, but in my opinion, he had no right to comment on my financial standing, much less assume that I dont work and pay for my own outings. Or know the balance on my own damn card!. Id rate the food maybe as a 2.5, but with that customer service experience, its extremely unlikely I will ever eat there again. Very disappointing.

I was at a conference at OSU and we went here for lunch. I really liked the atmosphere, received excellent service and good pizza. I like a lot of different toppings on my pizza and enjoyed that I could add what I wanted without a price per item. I also like the red sauce and the crust (which is key for pizza for me). Its definitely a college student atmosphere and thats what I would expect from a restaurant on high street. The excellent service I mentioned is understanding that these are college students mostly and they are learning. Its probably the first time in years when my price was $8.01, there wasnt a penny jar and I received exactly $11.99 in change. Perhaps a "give a penny", "take a penny" would be helpful. I certainly donate a lot to these types of jars and I like them available.

Save the extra money and go to the one in mason. I ordered a simple bbq chicken pizza, nothing extra(due to the fact of my order being rushed as if they were about to close but it was hours before closing time) and the chicken on the pizza was still cold when it got to me. I told the manager about it and he acted shocked as if it never happened before so he boxed it up for some unlucky persons lunch I assume. I had them completly remake it and dont feel bad about it at all, could have gotten VERY VERY sick from the 1 bite i took. So if its an option save the money and either go some where else or go to blaze in mason where they actually care about their customers.

The food here is great. It is a Chipotle-style restaurant, but for pizza! How neat is that? You would think that such a process would take a while, but it really doesnt. Only two minutes or so after you pay and get through the line, you will receive your pizza. Additionally, as a college student, this place is especially great because it is open until 4 AM. Thats right, 4 AM. So if you are a night owl, insomniac or anything in between, you can still get a nice meal in the middle of the night (but be warned, all the other night owls/insomniacs are also getting pizza between 12 - 4 AM, there likely will be a long line)

I love Blaze!! I have celiac disease - so the gluten free dough is great! (And it actually tastes good!) I work near this one and come often! Its nice that the staff recognizes me! Kate is really great at making the pizza just the way I like it and David is a really nice cashier!! The blood orange lemonade is definitely worth a trip to Blaze to try! The only thing I would add is a suggestion box for a new "seasonal" pizza topping, that people could vote on and could change every so often! I think that would be cooler for all of the OSU college students than salad!

The rub: The wait is a *bit* much sometimes BUT heres the deal: you can get ANY amount of toppings on your pie for the same price. Want one item? Same price. Get 10 items? Same price. Glutten free crust (big ups to my roomie) and a chick named Bee that put some hustle in that kitchen crew and got us all out the door. Sucky part, long line--were in line next to a bunch of drunks but once we got our pizza, we were glad we didnt leave like we almost did. Big ups to the Blaze pie and the quick-fire Bee or wed all have been standing there MUCH longer than we did. Boom.
