Arrived 7pm on Dec 5, 2014. Waited 85 minutes to get a table for 3, but instead of a table, we were seated at a long bench where we had to sit next to two other groups sitting at the same bench ... very awkward ... the hostess called it "a community table". Warning: the base price of a large pizza is $25, before you start adding extra toppings. If thats not enough of a buzz-kill, how about this one: the hostess had to walk around the bar and shout at the top of her lungs to announce the next available table. I felt sorry for her that the restaurant did not have a microphone for her or better yet provide those wireless lighted gizmos to alert the guests their table is ready. Be prepared for a hostess walking behind you screaming out loud. Oh, I almost forgot ... while standing at the bar waiting, my glass arrived with a large decal of the Cincinnati Bungals on it. Dont they know that Columbus is a Browns & Steelers town?? Every glass at the bar had a stupid Bungals logo on it, and the remainder of the evening was downhill from there. I wont be going back.

My wife and I met another couple for dinner here mainly because they had a good beer selection. When we arrived I was really surprised by the number of kids. It was 7 on a Saturday evening and it seemed like this was the place to be after the afternoon soccer game. Very noisy! Not what I had in mind for a double date. We were told 30 minutes but only had to wait about 15 for a small table right by the hostess station. Our waitress did a good job, considering how busy the place was. She never let our beers go empty. The pizza took over 30 minutes to come out, and when it did, they had put onions on half of our pizza, which I had requested off. However, not only did they give us that half of the pizza for free, they also made a small pizza without onions for free which was out in about 5 minutes. There were also a lot of people ordering for carryout. The pizza was a good quality and very tasty, and they staff did their best to makeup for their mistakes. However, it wasnt enough to counter the loud environment or long wait times for food.

Went there with family a lot of people in our party so I will not complain about service, even though multiple people got their food before us even though they came in later. The appetizers or whatever they call it were decent but not necessarily worth the money.Only one of the 5 different pizzas we got were even good. Everything is over priced there are way more choices of pizza are better... and cheaper. I ordered a steak and cheese calzone, it was decent but I also paid $16 for it even though on the menu it is price as $11.50. I would have rather bought Penn station for less than half the price. I really wanted the food to be good the place looks nice and had a lot of people there. I live in kettering so nowhere near Columbus and when I come back in town I will certainly not come back. You have to be completely stoned to like this food, and thats probably what I should have done before coming here.

this place is awesome, the dough is the best part... the same dough that is used in the pizza is used in a variety of other menu choices (the pretzels being my favorite - either parm & sauce for an appetizer or the honey & cinnamon sugar for dessert) the toppings are countless, you can get just about any veggie you want or a standard pepperoni pizza, i drive at least once a week to get my fix! the bar is great too, tons of beers on tap or in bottles, great wine selection too. the outdoor patio offers a nice place to enjoy a beer & food on a summer day. they also have great events, get on their mailing list. they do a thing on sunday called pooches on the patio, where people bring their dogs to hang out... its a blast! definitely worth the drive to polaris!

Wish I could give this 0 stars.It was a AWFUL experience!! I was with a few people and we each got a salad there was three of us it took 30 minutes to get them out.Our waitress claimed she was new she was the worst waitress Ive ever had!! She was very rude and sat next to one of the people with me which I think is very rude. Her name was Kassandra . She never gave us silverware some other lady had to give it to us. Also she reached over me while I was eating. And she grunted the entire time. Also complained. And it seemed like she was always running and huffing and puffing. Very RUDE worst waitress Ive ever had. She didnt even ask if we wanted a box and she gave us one anyway and reached right over me while I was eating. Dont think Ill come here again.

My boyfriend and I decided to stop in. We were seated immediatley, after 10 minutes of just sitting we had to pull aside a hostess to get us drinks. She couldnt even serve alcohol and told us all she could bring was water. when she brought us our waters she had a dirty towel in her arms. I was disgusted. We sat for another 5-7 minutes with NO waiter ever showing up. The place was NOT packed. We left. WE drove around back to see AT LEAST 6 emplyees, (kids) out back goofing around in a huge van SMOKING!!!!!! And im not talking cigarettes. My family owns a Pizza Shop and its been around for the past 21 years. I was truly looking forward to experiencing mellowmushroom but the service sucked. Where are the shift managers? Super dissappointing.

We initially went to another pizza joint across the street, but decided to come here after being scared off by their long wait for seating. We came here because Id heard good things about this chain thinking that wed get good pizza fast. We ended up getting one of those. Our pizza arrived after over an hours wait, and we saw other tables that arrived after us get served before we did. This is no fault on our waitress, as she was kind and helpful. I am not sure where the breakdown occurred, but I saw a few other tables having the same issue. This was also disappointing because the restaurant was less than half full. Once it DID arrive, the pizza was good, but I dont know if it was "1 hour + wait" good.

Visited by myself during happy hour last night. Dont deink, but most appetizers are half off. Got there and found yelp had a coupon for a free small salad.., and they are big! Got a meatball appetizer. The meatballs arent bad, the sauce, for me, needed some spices, which were on the table! Got a small house special pizza. First impression, boy does that crust smell good. Pizza cut into 4 large wedges. Im a foodie groupie, at least for one local cook. Ive nicknamed him kitchen ninja because of all the amazing things he can do. Hes working here now, and man was the app and pizza good. Keep up the good work kitchen ninja!
