Took my mother and family here for Mothers Day and it was the worst service ever! Oh, and the mediocre food was way overpriced....$150 for a table of four and that only included four undercooked burgers and a entree salad that could fit in a coffee cup. The potato chip app wouldnt fill a coffee cup either....Really $7 bucks for a bag of heated chips thrown in a cup, come on people get real!! The mac and cheese tasted like they dropped the salt shaker in while preparing. Entrees sat under kitchen hot lamps for 10 minutes getting cold before the server crawled from her hiding place to finally serve to our table. No water or drink service through the entire meal and the dirty plates sat on the table for twenty more minutes before we had to finally ask for a check. Waited 10 more minutes for the check and promptly left this sorry excuse for a gastro pub!! Stay away from Bar145 and as a foody I was embarrassed that I subjected my mother to this grossly disappointing establishment on Mothers Day!!

If you travel to self proclaimed burger places like I do, make sure you skip this joint. Of course they are jumping on the pretzel bun train, which is fine, however they need to pay a lot more attention to their meat. They recommend their burgers "perfect which refers the bars name 145 degrees. I ordered mine this way and it came out damn new raw. If the outsides werent seared the meat would of been running out! Terrible, and I like all my beef cooked at med rare. Then there is the flavor of the meat and toppings. The meat was under seasoned and could of been mistaken for one out of a bubbas box (who knows, maybe it is). I ordered the balsamic blue burger and was underwhelmed by the flavors working with one another. Balsamic stole the show and was about all I could taste. Will I be going back? Definitely not to eat a burger, but maybe to listen to a band and have a drink. Thats about all this place is good for. Eat at your own risk!

I would not go back after brunch today. Service has been bad before, but wow today was the worst Ive ever experienced in CBus. Server was miserable and unfriendly. Took us approx 1hour to get served several orders of Brekafast tacos and one order of chicken and waffles which was served twice over fried. Tacos were average - nothing I couldnt have done myself in 5 mins. Friend found something weird in her tacos. Paper of some sort. No apologies. No checking in. No drink refills and charged my credit card the wrong amount to boot. Place was moderately busy at best. Very disappointed and wont waste another meal here.

Stopped in here on 1/5/13 after watching the Bengals. Boy did this place ever change my mood about the Bengals loss. While not a bourbon drinker, thought the beer selection was plenty ample. Delicious apps (pretzel bites, tempura-battered green beans, truffle fries) and one of the best burgers Ive had in awhile. Called Bar 145 because of the perfect temperature for mid rare beef. Clipboard/pencil ordering for custom burgers is a must. Dont miss out on the fried egg, organic gouda and pretzel bun!

I have had very good experiences overall with Bar 145 since it opened. The food weve had from here has been pretty solid with very few complaints. I like the options available when putting together sandwiches - if you make yourself a bad burger, part of that is on you! This place can get packed on the weekends which is why i like either getting there earlier or a little later when the crowd dies down. They have live music pretty frequently so there is sometimes a cover.

Mothers day brunch, both dishes ordered were borderline "send them back". I ordered eggS Benedict, which came with ONE not quite cooked enough poached egg (yes, I realize they are soft to begin with). Daughters waffles have a strange unidentifiable taste. Both dishes were small. Disappointed for sure. I guess the part is they gave us 20% off her dish and 50% off mine for the holiday. Good with the bad, I suppose.

The staff was pleasant. The American burger and the melt were both mediocre. I did not care for the texture of the beef. The meat/bread ratio of the melt was wrong. Too much bread. The pretzel bun was good. The onion bun had no flavor. To explain, my husband had the melt, my granddaughter had the pretzel bun and I had the onion bun. The truffle fries were different but quite good.

Not really a place to have dinner despite the dinner/bar vibe. It is a bar... my ribs were warm at one end and still frozen at the other. Other food was also still cold. Meat on nachos was also cold and looked it soggy tuna (it was pork or chicken). As a bar, I give 3 stars (bartenders and waiters were far and few) as a restaurant I give it 1 star. Atmosphere was pretty cool though.

I went here once and cant say I was too impressed. I got a burger that was build to order and it really was just ok. The atmosphere is fun but it is quite loud. The Dance Floor there is right in front of a small stage where they usually have live music. They also have a private dining balcony on the second floor but I have not had the pleasure of experiencing that.

Not your topical bar. Hipster/rock vibe. Higher end menu of America classics. (ie. Burgers and fries.) Not a large space, but it is laid out is a suitable fashion. During my experiance, I did not feel crowded. It is not located far from OSU campus and there was not and over abundance of students. I may have lucked out because it was during finals week.

This lives up to the gastropub reputation! The tater tot appetizer was my favorite thing of the night (only because the sandwich I had, wasnt a specialty of theirs..) . There is a fair selection of beer and the server was friendly. I would recommend going on a weeknight or making a reservation for the weekend, they seemed pretty busy.

the service is great here and the food is okay. the burgers only seem to come rare or well done. two of the last three times i have been and ordered a medium burger it has come out well done, the other time it was basically rare. i wouldnt go back by myself but my girlfriend loves the salads so i will reluctantly be back.

Wait staff had a difficult time handling a large group. They were asked ahead of time how they would handle the bill with everyone so spread out and we were told they would be prepared. Unfortunately, they lost half the information, food was late or wrong and more than one bill wasnt accurate. Food was ok.

Come on Wednesday! Burger night with $5 build your own burgers and $5 cocktails. Happy hour is great with lots of options for food and drink. Drinks are bomb. Food is great. Love the truffle fries. Gf and veg friendly. Been here many times and have never received poor service. Good music, good atmosphere.

Bar 145 has a great laid back atmosphere and delicious burgers/fries. The concept is that you create your own burger using a sheet where you check off the ingredients you want. On Wednesdays its $5 burger night. They also have live music some days. Great for medium sized groups
