Even though I am Lebanese, I was up until tonight, one of the many who havent had the chance to experience Turkish cuisine. Surprising, right? I suggested Anatolias to my friend, as another friend of mine used to work there and thought that Id enjoy it. We arrived on a Saturday night and were met with "Sorry, you needed reservations" and "We will not have seats for X amount of time". Given this information, we chose to sit in the lounge area and dine on a high-top table. It turned out to be nice, the table was tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main room and the noise level was drastically lower, too. Our food, was awesome; fresh, and authentic. I ordered a white bean salad full of cucumbers, beans, tomatoes and olive oil, as well as a spicy eggplant dish - as my entré. Before our meals arrived, we shared a plate of ezme salad which was a spiced vegetable puree and served with hot pita triangles. Finally, after we finished we split a chocolate mousse dessert which was absolutely divine! All in all, Im glad that I took my friend up on his recommendation. Anatolias is ultra-authentic, ethnic, and trendy.

My latest experience here was pretty bad. Came in for a late lunch, was in the mood for wraps. The waiter flat out says " we dont serve sandwiches or wraps here" a few minutes later another waitress is walking around with a happy hour menu that we ask to see and lo and behold there are wraps. When we confronted the waiter (along with another waitress) they insisted the happy hour was only "to go"- first time Ive ever heard that! They were acting real weird whispering to each other and finally admitted the truth. We ended up relocating to the bar area so we could order the sandwiches we came in for. The sandwiches were alright if you like store bought cold tortilla bread thrown on a plate with nothing on it. Even after the all of that, when we finally got the bill the prices didnt add up to the what was on the menu the sandwiches were billed for $8 even though the menu said $6. I decided not to make an issue and honestly just wanted to get out of there at that point. Will not be coming back. Ever.

I was in the Army Security Agency, stationed in Sinop Turkey in the early 70s & became very familiar with the food. My lady & I ordered the mixed grill which consisted of Lamb Doner Kabob, Chicken Doner Kabob, Adana Kabob, Lamb Shish Kabob & a side salad of Red Cabbage on a bed of white rice. The salad caught me by surprise with its flavor. It was great. The rest was very, very good with the tastes I remember. It was all done perfectly. We finished with a Turkish coffee. It was excellent. The surprise with the coffee was there was very little sediment in the bottom of the cup. The amount of sediment has always been my main complaint about Turkish coffee. The staff were very attentive & friendly. The Matre D was very surprise when I greeted him in his native language. We will definitely return when we get back to the area.

After seeing the reviews I can here with much more expectations to be blown away.. Sadly I was not.. We ordered the hummus which was okay but was not greatly seasoned with olive oil and spices.. The sigara boregi was light but a bit light on the herbs.. The meat was very well seasoned and tastes excellent.. But the rice which i expected to be flavorful was not as good.. Fries were excellent.. But here is my biggest gripe.. Why charge for tzatziki and generic got sauce.. Overall average experience at a pretty busy and well rated joint.. Some brownie points for the complimentary valet and a good decor..

This is probably my favorite middle eastern restaurant in Cleveland. They have amazing kabobs and their hummus is amazing; also you can try the persian version of greek yogurt as an appetizer. My favorite item here is an appetizer it is liver that is flash fried and topped with fresh onions and it is to die for; its perfectly crispy yet you can still taste the meat inside. Some people might not like it but its an acquired taste. Also the service is unbeatable, I mean the waiter came by to our table on multiple occasions asking if we needed anything and refilled our drinks without us even asking.

This place was nice, affordable and tasty. We ordered the Lamb Wrap and the Lamb Shank both were very delicious. The Lamb Shank was on special that day for $20, might sound a little pricy but you do get a decent piece of lamb cooked to perfection. I wasnt a big fan of the hummus but the yogurt cucumber dip is fantastic, and if you are a beer drinker the beer was affordable and very good. The service was great, our server was happy, upbeat and funny. What I loved most was the decor and atmosphere, its simply beautiful indoors with the option to sit on the patio.

We had been to Cleveland last week and had visited the restaurant for dinner. To our surprise the food was awesome. The kabobs are really tasty . The stuffed eggplant was delicious. The desserts are out of this world!!! We had never tasted a dessert like that. The ambience was very peaceful and the service was also good. We really had a great dining experience , we would definitely recommend the restaurant to all the foodies out there!!!!!

Food was amazing! Would be 5 stars but like some of the other reviews mention, service needs help. The fella that waited on us really gave the vibe that he didnt want to be there and would like it more if we left. It wasnt busy when we arrived at 4:45pm and he already seemed annoyed. He wasnt mean, just short. Other servers we observed seemed a little friendlier. The food was perfect though and worth Mr. Cranky should you end up with him.

Three of us went to happy hour and all of our drinks were very weak. We watched the bar tender make our cocktails and she barely put any alcohol in them. The appetizer specials were good and the food was very tasty. If we come back again for happy hour it wont be for the drinks, just the food. We ended up leaving and going down the street to Taste where we knew our drinks would have alcohol in them. Very disappointed!

Lousy service, lousy food, and lousy atmosphere! This low grade excuse for a restaurant wins the unenviable triple crown for futility and should be shut down. Sorry, but Turkish food remains last on anyones list in terms of relevance and is nothing but Lebanese food renamed. Avoid this filthy lair at all costs!

Great Turkish food. If you are looking for a good Turkish meal in Columbus, this is the place to go. They have delicious traditional food and Turkish drinks. The only reason I did not give five stars is that the automatic light in the bathroom turned off while I was in there. Overall, great Turkish restaurant.
