Horrible customer service, multiple occasions of what seems to be discrimination. More than once my boyfriend has been completely ignored by some of the male workers and skipped over in line only to help the customer that came in after him. Im not sure if it is because my boyfriend is black, but every time he was ignored and skipped over it was to help someone who was white, fishy to me. Just recently, my boyfriend tripped over one of their carpets while walking to the door and dropped a $20 bottle of liquor that shattered. He asked them for another bottle and they refused, I went in and asked for a refund since my money never left the store and they werent giving him another bottle, the men told me no. While I was asking the men how they could just take my money when it was their own carpet in their own store that caused my boyfriend to trip, one of the men just waved me off and walked away from me and said "no one trips over the carpet". Im sorry that my boyfriend is a human being and accidents happen, and that the store lost a bottle, but this is why you have insurance, if we were outside the store and he tripped over his own feet then of course we would have taken responsibility. Even the woman worker saw him trip over it and asked if he was OK. So after getting absolutely nowhere with the men we were talking to, they finally tell us we have to talk to the owner and that we can call the store number at around 5pm when the they get in (it was about 4pm). Well we didnt have anywhere to be at the time, so my boyfriend and I were going to wait there for them. The men even asked my boyfriend why he was still in the store....excuse me? The owner comes in and the men didnt say one thing to her or to my boyfriend to let him know she was the boss. Finally one of the female workers lets him know the owner needed him to fill out a form so they can file a claim and then they gave him a new bottle. I appreciate the owner handling the situation professionally, however the two men I dealt with were rude, unhelpful, and didnt provide us with one option to resolve the situation. They never offered to call the bosses while we were there and only wanted us out of the store. The older man I was speaking to first didnt even look at me directly in the face for more than a few seconds and didnt put down the piles of cash he was counting out of the register to help assist us. We will no longer be giving our time or money to a place like this.

I think this is one of the best state stores around this area because I feel comfortable there. Everyone speaks English and the clerks are quick and know their stuff. They have a security guard on weekends (and busier holidays). They carry lots of backup stock of popular brands, flavors, and plenty of sizes. The sell all the washes you need and some snacks. I believe they sell lottery too (Not sure ). Thats it. Not really a convenient store. If you want that go to the deli next store. They take cash or credit. This place is very busy 24-7. So save all your dumb questions for the liquor store clerk @ Giant Eagle. Cuz Aint nobody got time for dat at State Road Beverage!!

I do not recommend this store. Some of the worst customer service Ive seen. They rang me up at a different price than advertised on the shelf and accused me of trying to cheat THEM when I brought it to their attention. I left when the workers decided it was ok to mock me by refusing to check the shelf price. On top of that, there isnt enough parking, and the store is dirty/disorganized. I will not be returning.

I think people who own or work there are racist. I was surprised to hear other people tell me their experience there and thought the same. A guard once followed me throughout the store. . the people at the counter are rude , and if this place was not owned by Indians, Id swear the Klan owned it. Unfortunate its the closest store to me with a liquor license.

Never have a problem cashing checks in there - they have every liquors you may need and I have no complaints about customer service...in fact, when they see Im looking for something everywhere, they ask if they can help...thats precisely why Im coming back among the years >>

They are racist i seen the bottle i came for behind counter ask for the price and the sales merchant gave me a ridiculous price for that bottle of 1800 silver pint size. He tried to charge me $30.

I placed a bottle of burnettes on the counter and the 2 persons behind the counter hated the fact that it had a red, white, and blue cover on it. Thats fine but your not getting my money anymore.
