Today as I was in the store, I watched as a woman entered the store carrying a chihuahua dog in her arms. The dog wore nothing to indicate that it was a service animal, and was not on a leash, just carried by this woman. You cant convince me that this is hygenic and would pass health codes. At some point, that woman was going to have to put the dog (a) on the floor where it could have relieved itself, or (b) in the basket she was pushing , in order to pick up and handle food items. And though I cant be sure all people wash their hands before they handle produce, meat, and other items, I dont want to be reminded I might pick up, pay for, and take home food these folks have handled after theyve had their hands all over their pets, then serve it to my family. I realize that small dogs are now considered "accessories" with many people, but I prefer not to shop in a store with such blatant cross-contamination. After 19 years, I wont buy anything else from Publix unless and until this changes. Nasty! Lisa Bartholomew

This is a great place to shop! Ive been there several times and have used their Pharmacy. It is smaller then a few of the Publics Ive been in. And in the times that I have visited this Publix there wasnt any lines or wait time.
