We used catch a fire for our June 10th wedding. Given the choice, I would not go with them again. Half of my guests had to eat much much later than the rest, because they didnt make enough pizzas (even though there were less people there than what I paid for.) They ran out of cheese and pepperonis, which made it very difficult for kids to find something they liked. The night before my wedding, at 9 pm, I got an email from them saying I owed another $200 that they forgot to tell me about, which is not something I should have been dealing with the night before my wedding. They also make you pay gratuity, which ended up being an extra $500, before they cater anything. So there is nothing to hold them accountable for doing a good or bad job, which after the experience I had with them, I do not think they deserved a 20% tip. Also, the staff passing out appetizers wore very sloppy clothing at the wedding, which came across as super unprofessional on their part. The food was great, but they need to organize themselves better for large events. I would suggest letting the guest choose the tip amount, so that maybe the staff will put in more effort and deliver better service.

3.5 to 4.0. Catch-a-fire is good pizza, but pretty expensive for what you get. Customer service can be great or it can be middle of the road, day to day. Pro tip: On Cinco de Mayo, keep your normal menu and not force fake Mexican pizzas... ETA: based on the owners response, Ill clarify a few things. Even though the pizza is expensive, I eat there every Friday (old madtree and new) because the pizza is good and madtree is fun. The new location has had some serious issues with customer service, Ill mark that down as being the newer location is busier, but eventually it needs to be fixed (waiting in line for ten minutes to order with two people is unacceptable for a $25 3 little pigs). The holiday menu is cute, but certainly not un"fake" considering I saw pizzas covered with tortilla strips...

We used Catch-A-Fire Pizza Catering for our wedding on May 7. Leading up to the day, Melissa and Jeff were very responsive and professional. On the day of, the appetizers and pizza were great - we received many compliments. However, the pizza truck was supposed to be there at 3 and it was not there until around 3:30 (our wedding started at 4). With the delay, the apps were still served on time after the ceremony, so it didnt end up being a problem. All in all, I was satisfied with our catering experience and look forward to eating their pizza again at Madtree Brewing.

Some of the best pizza in the city. All of their specialty pizzas are delicious. Their subs are great too.
