I was at a job today , and just before leaving, I asked about a good place to have breakfast. A girl who manners herself with modesty and intelligence replied , Wally Waffle . Since it was in close proximity to Signet, I thought I would stop by and give it a try. I have to say, I am glad I took this girls advice . I had a decent size Western Omelette with Wally Fries, which are hash browns, and toast for a respectable price. The service was fast and with a smile. Wally World is in the always fun bohemian esque part of West Market. This area reminds me of Syracuse Universities Westcott Nation, and thats a good thing . I will be back when I return to the area . This time though, I will be trying some of the grits they serve. Thank you Wally Waffle for the great service and a thank you to the girl with great advice.

Absolutely terrible. The food was not fresh at all. I ordered a large salad, and it was completely inedible. The croutons were burned and dripping in oil, the olives tasted like a permanent marker, and the tomatoes were mushy garbage. The dressing was straight from a bottle. Ive had better, and more fresh salads from Mcdonalds. The waitress I had tonight was also bad, and she would be better suited for a job that doesnt involve customer service. My boyfriend and I had to wait inexcusable amounts of time on several occasions: to be seated, to get the check, and she took so long with the change that we just decided that she could have it and left. Never going back. If you like nasty food and bad service, you should really check this place out!! ( I wish there was a zero star option).

Nice atmosphere, friendly waitstaff. I ordered the chicken and waffles(tenders instead of wings) The waffle was all you want in a waffle, crisp exterior and soft and flavorful. The chicken was your standard frozen chicken. Good but nothing to write home about. I also ordered the loaded wally fries... they were ok but lack the idea of "loaded". I had a very minimal amount of green peppers and onions, which were barely cooked and 2 slices of American cheese. They could do so much more to bring these over the top.

Super touristy spot where people go when they want to feel hip hanging in Highland Square for brunch. Pretty good food but not worth the wait or dealing with the horrible service. Literally the service is so slow and when you walk in you see staff just standing around staring at people, but theres a 45 minute wait? Not fun. Might as well just go to First Watch or the Eye Opener or hell, even Chipotle.

Food was ok. I got the chicken and waffles, with a side of "loaded" wally fries. Waffles were good. Chicken was average. Its your basic frozen chicken. ( I did swap out the chicken wings for chicken tenders, so that may be the issue.) Wally fries (hash browns) were ok, but 6 undercooked pepper and onion chunks hardly constitutes loaded in my book. Service was friendly and very helpful.

After waiting at hostess desk for 3 to 4 mins with my son for dinner and I had to call the restaurant to get some service..... the dining room had dirty tables ...... our waitress wasnt friendly or apologetic for the situation. .... since we have been here now they are cleaning up getting ready to close. .... Wow Really?? ..... I went to Chipotle, my son ordered chicken and waffles!!

Just like everything in Akron, Wally Waffle is done up right with just a certain flair. Huge, fluffy waffles piled high with toppings that can only be described as intense--in variety, amount, quality and quantity. Add on a few "Waffle Buddies" (the necessary accompaniments of sausage, bacon, hashbrowns, eggs your way and more) and youve got the perfect meal.

Why in the hell is their phone busy? There have been several times when I have called to place a pickup delivery and the phone is busy. What business in this day and age has a busy signal on a phone call. I assume those young idiotic millennials working there have the phone in their pocket not realizing it is off the hook! GOOD JOB WALLY WAFFLE!

My dear fried and this guy (*points at self*) used to meet here every Monday evening. We sure had swell times... But now.. Were left with nothing but disgusting portion sizes of "Mexican Style Cuisine" from the so-called "Chipoltle" in the same plaza. Due to the untimely closing hours, we eat in dreary sadness... Really Wally? Really???

Food is great. Breakfast for any taste. If you want traditional waffles, pancakes or omelette you will find it here. If you are open for new ideas there are waffle creations your grandmother never thought of. Waffle and omelette sandwich. Hash browns are amazing. Child friendly. Tons of food for the money.

I was SO excited when Wally Waffle moved to the neighborhood a few years ago. This place serves up amazing unique waffles, and is a staple of Akron. If youre visiting town, this is a great local place with a ton of history (even though the building is new). I much prefer this location to their Tallmadge branch.

This place is always packed unless you go on a weekday. I usually get food to go. They have some great waffle/pancake selections and other breakfast foods. My favorite is the Frenchie which is an omelet between 2 pieces of french toast. I havent tried their lunch options but Ive heard theyre good from friends.

Whenever we come to Wally Waffles the food is beyond delicious and the staff is always very attentive. However, since Wally Waffles is so popular, the wait times can be brutal of busy days. I suggest ordering beforehand and getting takeout. Or, coming very early. I highly reccomend Wally Waffles nonetheless.

Nom, nom, nom! Cinnamon sugar french toast is the bomb. This is such a nice little restaurant, the wait staff are sweethearts, and the food is always hot and tasty. And the coffee is just the best. The only downside is the small space, but now they are moving to a larger location up the road.

Unique take on Chicken and Waffles. Instead of the traditional breast or boneless, Wallys does theirs in a crispy wing, which may or may not be the same batter as their amazing Waffles. The Wally Fries werent as good as I hoped, but overall Wally Waffles was awesome!

I stopped coming here last year because of their poor customer service. Nothing has changed. The host was downright rude to my fiancé today and the food was pricey yet bland. We will go to the more hospitable and tasty breakfast spots in the area.

This place is a must go if you are in the area as they have some of the best breakfast foods around. The only reason it got a 4 star rating was do to the wait and the very cramped area to stand as you wait for your table to be ready.

An Akron gem! This place has amazing waffles! Try their chicken and waffle sandwich. The only reason why I rate it 4 stars instead of 5 is that its hard to get in sometimes on the weekends. Everybody loves wally waffles!

One mark of a good place is how busy it is at mealtime, and this place was packed. Despite that, not a long wait. The food I had was good. Our server was first-rate. Id be happy to go back again anytime.
