After the new owners took over I tried to call and order a carry out breakfast. I was put on hold (in this case hold was just setting the phone down so you could just sit there for ten minutes listening to other people be taken care of while you sit there with the phone against your ear) and after waiting for a solid ten minutes hung up. When I tried to call back it went straight to voicemail (because they never hung up the phone on their end) so no breakfast was ever ordered. I even tried calling back several times over the period of about an hour afterward. I decided to give them another shot today, several months later, thinking this was just a one time mess-up. Unfortunately it was not. The same exact thing happened this time. I called, waited on hold for ten minutes and finally hung up. Tried to call back and went straight to voicemail. I was never able to order a carry out order. I went in right after I hung up and told the person working they might want to hang up their phone because no one can call them since she left me on hold. Im sure they have great food but Ill never know since they arent smart enough to operate a phone.

Went here for breakfast to try it out because it had good reviews. Arrived before 3 other tables and got waited on last. Waitress commented that we were there first and laughed. Small plate of homefries cost 3 dollars and its not even a whole potato. Waited 30 mins for our food. Toast was hard and dry. Biscuits were dry no butter. Sausage was sad. Homefries were flavorless with no butter had to put a lot of salt on them. The eggs were good. Will not be back. Oh. Yeah! When you read this owner/ manager thank you for you patience reading this.

My husband and I finally tried Garretts Mill at his suggestion for a pancake breakfast and we were delightfully surprised at how delicious the food was there especially the pancakes, yum! The waitress and the chef were very friendly, attentive and helpful when it came to info about their food. The restaurant was pleasant, cozy and clean. It cost a bit more than we usually pay for breakfast but we both got large platters. They do have several breakfast special however. All in all we were very pleased and will be going back.

Well... I took my sons for breakfast and it was good. But.. went 2 weeks later and there was one worker! Yes one! She took your order, cooked your food and brought it to you all while she was waiting on the 4 other tables in the place. One table left. She even answered the phone and took a take out order. I felt so sorry for this girl! How ridiculously cheap the owner is! I wont be back! Seeing her scurry like that made me lose my appetite!

The owner and his co-workers could not be more friendly and welcoming. I took my 90 year old Aunt here and they were incredibly patient, holding the door from the time I pulled up, to knowing without asking, that it would be helpful to seat us close to the door as she has trouble walking. All of it done with a genuine smile. Great place for breakfast! The walnut waffle was a big hit with my Aunt!

My new favorite spot for breakfast and coffee. The crepes were delicious and you get a very generous serving of them for a good price. The background music was the oldies, which I liked. The cook (owner too I think) was very friendly and treated his employees with patience which added to a good atmosphere amidst a rush hour.

This is a wonderful little diner! I love supporting local businesses. Great atmosphere if you love the classic diner feel. Delicious food and coffee was good. We both had the bisquits and gravy, which I recommend. The owner was friendly and polite, genuine. Really happy we went.

The food was alright. I got the biscuits and gravy which was good but nothing to write home about. My wife got a bagel with cream cheese. She said it was stale and she didnt enjoy it. We went on a Sunday which was busy and they appeared to be understaffed for the crowd.

Greatest Breakfast Ive Ever had. I went in with my soccer team and the staff was so incredibly friendly and accomodating to all of us. On top of this, there are exceptional prices and healthy, spectacular food. If I could give it a 6/5, I would.

Good food, and decent prices. I was waiting a little longer than I liked to both get a table, and a meal, but everyone was very polite and friendly. They have a small cooking area that seems to hold them back. All the food was very good.

I have never walked into a restaurant before and thought if this is what Heaven smells like I would be ok to go now. Im a foodie, I am paticilar, usually only eat food low in carbs but this is definitely my new sinful place to eat.

Great food and service! I would recommend and Ill go back. The staff shirts claim "The best pancakes" and they might just be. The pancakes were fantastic, the lightest, fluffiest pancake Ive ever had. Yum!

Cozy diner, very friendly staff. We were in town for a wedding recently, and they were super accommodating towards the large groups we brought in. A subset of us went all three mornings we were in town

The sausage gravy is awesome. Put it on everything! Compliments to the cook. Eggs were great, french toast off the chain. These guys hustle. Fathers day brunch was a pleasure.

Great food. Probably the best breakfast in town. This is not a place to go if you want something quick. Great place for family. I recommend going early in the morning.

Excellent breakfast with the friendliest of service. Found Garretts Mill Diner by chance while traveling through Ohio en route to Michigan. Serendipity!

Im a huge fan of this place. Some things seem oddly overpriced, like the pecan waffle. Otherwise, a high quality breakfast food restaurant.
