What brand of sorcery is this...?! I have never had a better croissant than I had at Atelier. Literally. I had a tomato and mozzarella, and it was surprisingly delicious. Unsure how they pulled it off, but the outside was flaky, texture was chewy, and inside was moist and juicy (the tomatoes). How they kept the outsides wonderful texture is beyond me, but it was much appreciated. I was honestly unsure what to expect going here. My boyfriend was singing their praises and talking about how flaky their croissants were... "I dont like flaky croissants," I thought silently. (Im used to the ones that flake all over your clothes and face when youre trying to respectably eat them. Somehow, these flakes are moist and surprisingly less ratchet.) I thought the cheese on the one I ordered would be dried, but no... it was moist, too. Excellent. Also got a chai latte, and it was also the best Ive had -- NOT TOO SWEET. Loved the down-to-earth staff too, Pablo and Hannah (sp?). This place is tops. 5 stars, 2 thumbs up, a high 10, and 1 fist bump. I seriously wish they were in Raleigh, not Winston-Salem!

This is a sweet little shop that offers delicious pastries and coffee, as well as a super comfy environment to hangout in thanks to the big farm tables, tucked away nooks, soft couches, and relaxed setting that captures a bit of that comfortably refined French Country style. The pastries are beautifully made and almost too pretty to eat, but you wont mind tearing into these little beauties after the first bite. The use of fine quality ingredients is quickly apparent and delightful. The sweets and savories offered at Atelier are crafted with care, detail, and pride which translates into nothing short of an amazingly wonderful and memorable treat for your senses. Im hooked.

AMAZING croissants!! Best you will have outside of Paris. Light, fluffy and buttery layers...done to perfection. Had the pain au chocolate and the ham and cheese and couldnt pick a favorite! Given that the chef and owner was trained in Paris and worked at some of the best restaurants in New York, it is no wonder that he is so skilled at creating the most original and unique flavor combinations in all of his pastry selections that change daily. Great to bring home or to stay and enjoy. Warm environment great for studying or enjoying a cup of coffee. Fireplace in the back.

A Winston gem! Atelier has the best quality European pastries in the US. I grew up in Europe and frequented quality bakeries in large US cities and these are my favorite! My family loves walking to atelier for breakfast on the weekend. I also love picking up last minute pastries for weekend guests ..paired with coffee and breakfast is served! The space is charming and the staff and chef are very welcoming.

Like at home! This is by far best pastry Place I ever eat here in the US. I am from Europe, and at home we have places like this all over the place, but here it is very hard to find a really good pastry Place. So if you want real French pastry, you have to come here. Together with our friends we purchased for $150 pastry, so we can enjoy this delicious pastry for the rest of the week

Amazing French patisserie in downtown Winston-Salem. The chef is amazing and has delightful danishes, pastries, cakes and pies that are next to none. The pan de chocolat is Oh So tasty and they make wonderful coffee and coffee drinks from my favorite roaster in the United States...Counter Culture. Come try something. They do have weird open hours from Wednesday through Saturday.

No need to fly to France! The chocolate filed croissant, and croissant topped with peanut butter and berries taste and look terrific! The other pastries looked delicious as well. This place is such a treat for Winston-Salem. I am glad that Pablo, owner and head baker has returned to Winston. He recd a Grand Diplome from the Le Cordon Bleu in Paris.

All of their offerings were the same basic pastry base, however within that range, they had a myriad of choices and flavors. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, decent coffee, and the food, which is why we went there, was good. I know from social media that they offer other goodies than pastries at times. Well definitely be back to try those.

Great and cozy environment! My first experience there was wonderful, all the workers genuinely cared for and were attentive to us. After we finished eating we were asked by one of the workers how everything was. I know I will be coming back for sure, cant wait!

Went to enjoy pastries today and they recommended taking home some vanilla cheesecake. Its the most delicious, fluffy, airy cheesecake Ive ever had. Seriously to die for. Try it, you wont regret it. Pablo=magician.
