I used to really like this place, but the people working at their original location are too often, unprofessional and foolish. This is not everyone, for I would usually meet a nice respectful person. I tried to remain patient as I noticed that the quality of service going down since they opened a new location. Things would sometimes happen to upset me but I kept forgiving them, making excuses for them in my head because I used to like their items and wanted to support a local business, but two events completely angered me to the point where I wont support them anymore. First event, my friend and I walked in a few minutes before they were going to close to get some coffee, a African American ignorant girl said we are too late and wanted us to go, but an African American awesome guy stepped up and treated us like important customers, the girl didnt take the hint and proceeded to act annoyed, as if she was doing us a favor when it was the guy who did everything right, how she got hired was beyond comprehension, this isnt McDonalds girl, but there is one in the plaza you should apply to. The guy saved the moment and made the situation overall better and sent the girl to the back to get ice or something, good move dear sir! Second situation, I ordered a cake for a family birthday, I ordered many days in advanced, the day came and I was on my way to pick it up, I get a call from some girl that tells me they sold my cake to someone else and to not come ( yet I was almost there already). I wish to tell you the curses I wanted to say, but I shall not degrade my review with that kind of language, lets just say their story made no sense, they didnt offer a meaningful apology, just oh sorry do you want to order another one for a later date? really!? Really!??!?!  The birthday was the next day and they would not even be ready, how they sold the cake also makes no sense, because we confirmed the cake was done earlier and it had a unique name on it. At this point my patience was over. Since I needed a vegan cake we had no others choice, we couldnt make one and sublime (great vegan spot BTW) couldnt do it either, we had to buy cupcakes from whole foods because they had no big cakes either. If parlour had offered something meaningful to show they were sorry for this HUGE mistake then I could look past this, but this foolish, irresponsible, inconsistent, immature behavior was more than I could tolerate. Do keep in mind this place is not cheap, they sell at an upscale price point and have a higher income area in proximity, if it were some random chain like McDonalds Id let it go, but no , thats it, you cant act all upscale and provide trash service. I gave them good enough business as a simple regular customer. I spent quiet a lot every month in my opinion, maybe it wasnt enough? but I at least hoped being a loyal regular customer would amount to something. I guess they just didnt care. luckily there are plenty of new vegan places showing up who I will be supporting instead.

I love this bakery so much I happily make the 30 min drive from my house to Parlour. The decor is clean and fresh. Friendly service, knowledgable people behind the counter, delicious options for gluten free folks, yummy baked goods, my favorite kettle chips from Earth Balance, savory empanadas and tamales, sandwiches to-go from Atlas meat free delicatessen, different kinds of salads also to-go, gooey pizza rolls the size of my fist, coffees, Popsicles, refreshing juices, the list goes on and on. Make sure to follow their Instagram so youre in the loop for new items, drinks, or food. I suggest a starter pack of mini cupcakes to take home. Remember, sharing is optional. :Edit: they make everything daily and will sell out of popular items. Dont be discouraged. Follow their Instagram or Facebook page to keep up to date. Otherwise if you have your heart set on an item they offer, call ahead to make sure they havent sold out already.

Food: Everything we ate was delicious! Tried the spinach empanadas, the buffalo cauliflower empanadas (each come with a different sauce...amazing as well), the chorizo roll, and the pizza roll. For sweets, I got the vanilla frosted donut and a churro donut. Both had great flavor, moisture, and texture. For a vegan and gluten free place, you might expect some odd flavor or texture, or that at least one item would be a "fail". Not so with my treats from Parlour! Service: I went on a busy weekend afternoon. The place was packed, but service was great. The friendly employees did their best to take and prepare my order quickly. Another patron recommended that if youre in a rush, call ahead to place your order (especially for something like a sandwich which isnt pre-made). I hope this place expands one day to add seating and tables. I would love to spend an afternoon here with come coffee or tea and a pastry or savory treat!

I finally found the good stuff! For someone who has an immense sweet tooth and grew up on processed foods, I am now trying to eat "clean" and become aware of all the unnecessary additives to our foods. With that, a lot of vegan, all-natural or organic foods lack taste for someone getting used to, or making the switch... but Parlour Vegan Bakerys food and baked goods are sincerely amazing and so delicious!! I also served a variety of their ornate doughnuts (works of art!) at a family brunch and no one could tell there was anything amiss (many who scoff at the vegan lifestyle!). My 80 year old father, whom is the first to dismiss any bakery vegan-goods and who drinks coke, eats oreos and McDonalds ... thought they were delicious and couldnt tell. The quality, the purity and the presentation of their food is genuine and very refreshing. I only wish they were closer to me! Please open more!

Okay...its official, i am addicted to this place and i will need therepy and high doses of methadone to quit eating here! If this is wrong I dont want to be right! How do they do the black magic they do without eggs...without butter...without meat....without CHEESE???? Everything is soooo good, jeeze im gonna have to really step up my workouts. ..and i will because like i said, Im addicted. All the baked goods are lip smackin, finger suckin extasy. I defy you to make it out of the parking lot without a serious case of hamster cheeks, because youve suffed half a cupcake in your face so that you could drive....yes Ive done this and Ill no doubt do it again too. My new fave.. the black bean empanadas...WOW WOW WOWEEE! !! Come in and feast for yourself. ...yummadumpciousness

I would really love to give this place 5 stars because their food is amazing. But I have to say I am very disappointed in their customer service when it comes to ordering. My fiance and friends went out of their way to order a cake for my birthday, Parlour lacked on returning their calls and emails. And the cake was the wrong flavor. I was considering ordering a wedding cake from them, but now I am hesitant. Also I wish they had tables and chairs, a place to sit and eat. Other than that, delicious and beautiful creations. I am 20 years vegan and counting this place definitely has great pastries
