reason i am giving it a 2 stars is because of the girl who answer the phone i usually like eltap it ok i prefer San Jose but since eltap is close we go there for my job. i called and placed a few orders today and the young lady was a bit sassy no problem but when we got our order my friend was over charged, didnt get her pico and as for myself i said NO onions and burrito sauce well i got extra onions and no sauce. My coworker called up there and spoke to the same girl and instead of being apologetic she argued with my coworker she also told the lady we wouldnt be back and the lady at el tap said fine well then by Felicia hello San Jose

Everyone in our party of 7 came in from out of town to celebrate a birthday. We had a wonderful time! Every aspect of what El Tapatio had to offer was A+ --- everything was clean, bright, and festive -- with outstanding food served by an attentive waite staff. Generous servings, reasonable prices --- and So much to choose from. The atmosphere was festive, the music was in keeping with a traditional Mexican celebration. As we left to go back to our separate towns, we all agreed wed made a good choice!! If you enjoy GOOD Mexican food and EXCELLENT service, we highly recommend El Tapatio on Raleigh Rd. Pkwy. in Wilson!

The server was rude. Waiting on other customers. Not waiting on me because he thought I wasnt going to tip him because of my skin color. I spent $48.29 & he still got my take out order wrong. I will never go here again. I love El Jimador in Rocky Mount. I have never been treat like this at EL JIMADOR. Then they add the tip in your bill if your bill is over 50.00. I dont have a problem tipping but if your service sucks, I feel like it should be up to me what I leave the server. The EL TAPATIO (3004 Nash St)

First experience not good. Ordered enchiladas tapatias. I could almost overlook it not being hot enough to melt the queso inside but the shredded pork on top was at least 50% cartilage. With every single bite I had to remove a chunk of that from my mouth. Finally it just ruined my appetite. Basic uneventful dish and bland rice anyhow. Service was decent (though they didnt seem too surprised or concerned about the crappy food I was served). I dont think Ill be going there again.

Just ate at the new branch on Nash Street, and utter disappointment. The cheese dip was not full melted, the fajita had more peppers than meat, and waitress could not be bothered with asking if I needed anything or refilling my drink. I had to go to the front to get my own drink. Worst El Tap in Wilson!!!!!

First visit to this place, I should say the ambience & hospitality were at its best. I like garlic flavored food and so I tried the garlic shrimp (Camaron Al Mojo De Ajo). It was tasty & the quality of fried beans was good and fresh. Will definitely visit again for same dish :-)

It is way too expensive and the food is NOT worth what they charge!! The absolute BEST Mexican food can be bought at the El Paso restaurant located in Bailey about 10 minutes away from this place!!!! It is well worth the extra 10 minute drive!!

The food was okay however I lost my appetite after having to continuously wave flies away from our table. Also we were greeted several times but had to wait several minutes before they ever took our drink order. Very disappointed.

This location is the largest of the 3 in Wilson, and has the best atmosphere. The food is very good with consistent quality. Parking can be tight during busy times.
