My visit to the downtown Slice of Life was not my first bad experience with the franchise. On an earlier visit to the Military Cutoff location I received horrid service. The server made a condescending remark when I tried to order my food before my drink, then proceeded to eat at the bar with a friend and browse Facebook on her phone. Whilst I ate a jalapeno pizza with no water and then waited 10-15 minutes for my check. Foolishly I revisited the franchise downtown more recently. I had a large pepperoni pizza between three people, surely before midnight, and couldnt get tap water. How does your policy do anything but deter business? I can understand the inefficiency of serving water to a loiterer not buying anything, but not providing a complementary water to a paying customer? Absurd. I understand your business will continue to thrive as it aims to efficiently serve apathetic drunks. In reality the service is unwelcoming, reflecting the lack of focus on customer service, something that should always come first in the food service! At the end of the day Im sure you were well in the black this quarter, but the experience at your restaurant was so unsettling that it bothered me enough to make a 100% honest review months later.

I am in this place right now and it is absolutely disastrous the service that is! I would not suggest this place to anyone! It has taken well over 30 minutes to get my food order placed and another 15 minutes to get my food! WTF! These are some ignorant a** mo fuc*as working in here! Even worse I cant stand a fn clown and this is nothing but a circus! Withdraw your cash out of the ATM and walk around the corner to I love NY pizza and get a slice and the service is much better as well at least they are dic*s and not just a zombie walking around.

I have been to all the Slice of Life in Wilmington and I must say this one SUCKS. The service is horrible it took over 30 min sitting at the filthy bar to get to place our order and when it arrived my veggie pizza that I paid $4.75 for was merely a cheese pizza with a few onions on it. Every other Slice of Life has given me a pizza loaded high with veggies hence the reason I dont mind paying $4.75 for it because the fact is their slices have always been small. Defiantly will never go back again what a joke.....

While the pizza is delicous, I always place an order over the phone to pick up during my lunch hour. Today was the fourth time Ive tried, expecting the service to be better. While l am a good tipper, even on a to go order, saying the bartender and wait staff are rude is an understatement. Eye rolling, slamming pizza boxes in front of me, and practically throwing my money next to the register. Id rather eat subpar pizza from Dominos from now on.

I am only giving this one star because I have to. If I could give this thieving place a zero - I would. This place STOLE our credit card number and within 20 minutes succeeded in charging 750.00 to the card and tried to make several other purchases of over 600.00. This place will steal your identity. If you are in the mood for over-priced pizza that barely feeds a child, make sure you bring CASH!!!!!!

I have loved this place for many years. However I will never go again after he way I was treated last time I went. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza with some friends and asked for waters. The man said "we dont do that here" and refused to bring me water to drink. I have never been to a restaurant that wouldnt give you water with a meal. I spent $20 for a pizza. A water shouldnt have been a problem.

Great pizza! Took my boys for the first time and they LOVED IT!! Its been a while since Ive gone there myself, I totally forgot how good their pizza was. I did try the gluten-free white pizza and must say it was okay. Not bad just okay; I guess my main concern was the size of the pizza versus the price. Too much money for such a small pizza, wasnt expecting that one. Forgot to take a pic of it.

3.5 really. Pretty good tasting pizza joint. Not to go out of your way for, but close to all the shops and fast service if you need a quick sit down bite and want pizza (some other options also, the parm sub was "ok"). They have a good mix of toppings to choose from, and are able to keep the crust crispy even with alot of toppings. Better than the chains for at least.

When its 2:30am and you are struggling to survive this is the place to be. When you wake up so dehydrated that you wanna die, youll forget the fact that you spent 50+ dollars on 4 large cheese pizzas because now you will slip into a greasy coma too overcome what is possibly is your worst hangover you have ever had. Ask your doctor if Slice of Life is right for you.

I have not eaten yet but fairly sure Ive waited too long and twiddled my thumbs for an unnecessaryily long time for some pizza. 30 to 40 minutes is a bit much. Ill update the taste and quality but this is excessive. They are not that busy... I should go cook it myself. Update on taste: Decent pizza... But both of us had upset stomachs.

We visited Slice of Life with our 6 year old son, we all enjoyed the visit. The pizza was wonderfully delicious, service was fantastic and friendly. The food was quick to arrive and hot. Plenty of TVs with sports games on, gave something to watch and talk about. Good visit, we will return the next time were in Wilmington. Thanks!!

Some of the best pizza in town. The whole pizzas are better than the single slices. The single slices are still pretty good but they use cheese slices then put more toppings/cheese and run them through. Good because you can get a slice or two with whatever toppings but not as good as a fresh baked whole pie.

Went on a Wednesday around noon, just ahead of the lunch rush. Nice and open, good decor. The staff is super friendly and happy to give suggestions. Their wings and quesadillas were good but the pizza is really good. Next time we visit wilmington we will definitely come back for a whole pizza.

Worst place ever on a busy night. The bartenders have no idea what is going on and could care less about the customers that are giving them their tips. I will be going to I love New York pizza from now on and will be sure to spread the word.

Some of the most over-priced and crappiest pizza Ive ever had. Other food there is average quality for a pub but still too expensive for what you get. Drinks also expensive. I dont know how they stay in business besides being a trendy place.
