I was satisfied with the service up until recently. I took my daughters and I for a lunch date at the Icecream Parlor. We ordered our food. We saw people that had come after us receive their food before us and sat patiently. Forty minutes passed by until I went up to the counter and the staff had said that our food had already been delievered. They had to cook the food again since we had not been given it the first time. A few minutes later the waitress had came out with food for other customers, and passed by our table and sais with a very unpleasant attitude "it was a honest mistake." We were not offered anything for our long wait. This is why I rate this a 1 star.

Average place, mostly ice cream. Should have more choices because of that. Wish they would use cardboard cups instead of these horrible white foam plastic cups and wooden spoons instead of these plastic spoons. One of the few places that has a good bathroom also convenient tables and chairs outside in the shade. Makes it really nice to enjoy your Ice cream there. $ 3.00 for 2 scoops.

Coming from Florida to get away from Irma, we spent the afternoon visiting the shops. We walked in with our service dog and were confronted by a very rude older lady. We showed her his federal service dog ID. She also was very mean to our autistic child and over charged us for extra sprinkles. To her credit the young co-worker apologized...

Ask Anthony about pesto chicken salad! You cant order wrong, even if he doesnt have it though. Fresh shakes, great southern and deli style good prepared to order, great atmosphere! This place is a Southern Pines landmark and if you have kids with you, theyll love it.

Its hard not to love ice cream. This place makes it even harder. The ice cream is great and the staff is so nice! I have not ordered food here yet but its on the list of things to do. Its also an awesome gathering place. Outdoor seating is a definite plus.

Such an amazing place to eat! It was my first time eating here and I will definitely be coming back. The workers were so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our meal. The chefs salad was perfect for the hot summer day!

I have to say, the historic nature of the place had my hopes up for ice cream made in-store, but they buy the stuff. Friendly enough staff, and great views from the huge windows. There are always families here, and its good for a snack with friends.

A great hole in the wall in downtown southern pines! I went for dinner and got the all the way burger with fries and it was awesome! Their homemade ice cream is good too! I recommend the homemade blueberry!!
