Plate was sloppy and did not look appetizing at all. Inside of restaurant looked outdated. Rice was cold and dry. Veggies were dry with no taste. Wayyyyy too much sauce with very little meat. Just all around bad. Staff was rude until they saw I had left a tip. Then it was all smiles and "thank you for coming" AFTER rudely staring at me and not greeting me. This was one of the worst restaurants Ive ever been to. Food was not good at all. I got lost finding this place. That was the universe telling me to stay away. What is up with these kind of restaurants in Greensboro?? Where is the quality? Sheesh.

i love this place. im from NYC and im on a college budget. this place really gives you alot of food for what u pay for [in comparison to raggae cafe]. all the jerk chicken in NC seems to be stewed and not grilled [so its alot of jerk sauce on the meat, not in the meat]. but all the other dishes are really good. the oxtails are really good and the stew chicken as well. the curry chicken is okay, its not really spicy. the beef paties w cheese and coco bread are good too. great place to eat... most comparible [IN GREENSBORO] to golden krust if ur from up north.

I love goin to eat there. Food is so good I cant stop eatin it.the atmosphere is not the best (I wish it was a sit-in resturant) but all is forgoten when u try the food.they always have the same one man workin and hes very friendly. They also have these amazing drinks wit different flavors that goes wit anything you pick to eat. The downside is that sometimes there is a lengthy wait for your food to be cooked but its worth it.Great food at amazing prices......what more can you ask for. One of my favorite places,I might eat there tomorrow :)

I have the opportunity to visit this restaurant, and the customer service was horrible. The cashier/cook (Older Black Jamaican man) was extremely rude. After waiting in line for 15 minutes, he comes out and tells myself and other customers that he only can feed us beef patties. The cleanliness of this restaurant was also very questionable. The cashier/cook would take money from customers, then go and prepare food. ALL without washing his hands.

First: This is a take out place, no seating and the service can be a bit slow so call ahead. But the food is what its about. The ox tails are beyond amazing; fatty, saucy and full of flavor. Jerk chicken is nice and spicy, like its supposed to be. Meat is on the bone, like it should be. I would rate it as an adventurous eat, but this is how Jamaican is supposed to be. If you dont like this place, then you dont like Jamaican food.

Very rude people. I called in to order food. First and foremost they answered the phone with an attitude, I ignored then went on to tell him what I wanted, he asked a question but I couldnt hear, so he yelled with an attitude "SMALL OR LARGE???" Then hung up. I decided not to fool with them after being disrespected. Very nasty people I will never eat from them! Having an attitude when conducting business is not a good look.

Customer service is horrible!!! Server was rude and had no hospitality to greeting nor serving customers!! When you are in the restaurant business working directly with customers, you need to have people skills. The customers are the ones who bring in profit to the business without them the business will close. As customers paying our money to this business deserve to be treated with respect!!!

Online it displays that the restaurant close at 10pm, I get to the restaurant at 9 pm and there was NO ONE there! I am extremely pissed off because how are you going to close early when there is a certain time displayed online, if the real closing time is 9 pm please change it online!

The food was good and for the value you cant beat it. It is a take restaurant and not to be compared with other eat in places. So compared to the local Chinese take out spot, they rate pretty high. They have good food and great prices which is always a good combination. (03/07/2011)

The food was pretty good...brown stew beef was great the cabbage was bland. My only issue was ordering the food. Having to wait for them to finish cooking before coming and getting the next batch of orders was wack...Next time we will call ahead instead of ordering in person.

Service was slow but worth the wait. Oxtails were delicious, and the sauce was more than enough for the rice and peas and for the sauteed veggies. The jerk wings had a very good heat to them. Will definitely come again if I crave Jamaican food while in Greensboro.

Been here several times and the food is good. Its the best Jamaican food spot Ive food in the Greensboro area. The dishes are authentic and reminds me of the spots back home in NYC. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for good authentic Jamaican food.

I like the way the vibes in the store run. Americans can sometimes be thrown off by the way West Indian people move but I love the food and the service. Every single meal Ive eat and all of the music has been article

The food was authentic. I like their jerk sauce. I eat a lot of Caribbean food and I can tell good food when I eat it. I ordered two small veggie plates and some coco bread. $15 was the total. It was very fair.

Horrible service, foods not well made enough to subject myself to being treated like ish. I rather continue to stock up on my seasonings when I go to NY and make my own Caribbean dishes.

Food is awesome, bad customer service, mean and sarcastic attitude from owner, not a welcoming restaurant at all, need to treat its own people and customers better
