I wasnt going to go to the extreme and put the review but I am very disappointed and disgusted by the customer service that I received. 1 delivery was not on time and I stay walking distance from the business. 2 I ordered macadamia nut and he brought chocolate chip cookies. Instead of calling and informing me before taking it upon himself to choose for me. 3 when he FINALLY got to me he basically tried to demand a tip (remind you I already had tip in cash in my pocket) without giving me a chance to reach inmy pocket. Instead he stated that if the customer doesnt tip on card they look forward to tip in cash since they deliver on a bike. Then he went to say "So we cant deliver to you any longer if you cant tip". Then walked off. 4 usually when you pay with card you have to sign a credit card copy saying you received your Delivery and so forth but he was so rude he forgot to give me my copy or have me sign. With that being said I called the business to speak with the manager to inform him about this bad service and the man in the phone said the manager/store owner wasnt in at the moment and he couldnt do anything to help but ta!e my name and number so I am waiting for this call because this was my 1st and LAST time spending my hard earned coins with this business and I still havent touched the food and I will not dare. If the manager cant understand my concern and take action then I will take matters into my own hands (Legally) and make sure that this is never done to anyone that decides to spend their money with them EVER AGAIN!!!! I HAVE WORKED IN FOODS AND NUTRTION SERVICES AND THE HOSPITAL FOR OVER A YEAR AND WAITRESSED BEFORE FOR OVER 3YEARS. With that being said I have spent over 8years of my life in customer service and I know how you suppose to treat customers and I know that as a employee you are representing the company and it starts with customer service. Point.Blank.Period. I will update my review after I get a call from the manager if they really handle customer complaints the right way. We shall see. R.Tyson

I placed an online order this morning at 11:30 asked that my food be delivered at 12:30. I received an email saying my food would be delivered around 1:01 pm. My food was not delivered to me until 1:23 almost two hrs later. I had to wait my whole entire lunch break for them. I called and spoke to the manager and let him know the situation and he told me "THAT I WAS NOT THEIR ONLY CUSTOMER", and he said it with a nonchalant attitude and then tells me how the whole online order process works. Oh I forgot to mention that my job is RIGHT DOWN THE STREET from their location. This was not my first time ordering with Sandwhich Max and I have NEVER had to wait almost 2 hrs for my food. So FYI if you place an order online with Sandwich Max and your food is not delivered on time or takes 2 hrs or more, dont even bother speaking with the manager because he could care less and will probably tell you " YOU ARE NOT THEIR ONLY CUSTOMER". UNACCEPTABLE!!! I will never place an order with them again.

Sandwich Max is hands down the best sandwich place in Charlotte. I cannot rave about them enough. Their customer service is top notch—they make ordering lunch for our entire office easy, stress free, and dare I say entertaining? When youre looking for an excellent meal and a place that truly values their customers (and always makes you feel like you are the most important person theyve spoken to that day), then Sandwich Max is for you. If you like mediocre food and nasty employees, then steer clear—because this places is AWESOME.

Order ahead of time if you can. They had my food ready to go the minute I walked in. Saved so much time. I ordered the tuna melt w fries. The fries are typical but seasoned so they taste better than regular fries. The sandwich itself was pretty darn good. The tuna was very flavorful and i could definitely taste the lemon in it. Got it with sourdough bread, it was nicely toasted to perfection. Theyre not too expensive either. Great place for a quick bite.

My office orders a large order (15+) sandwiches from Sandwich Max every month or so, and the team there is always beyond nice and accomodating. Weve never had a sandwich not match the order (pretty rare for larger orders!) and the customer service and appreciation is always to the "max". Love having this local business in the neighborhood and always cant wait for our next visit!

poor customer service not friendly at all. I was going there once a week they messed up our sandwiches I called to speak with the manager but of course they told me he wasnt there , they took my name and number and yet I still havent heard anything back. Ive notice that they treat blacks different more then once very poor customer service. So not cool just sad

My coworker suggested this place to me as soon as I got hired at my new job and its amazing! Since then Ive actually started having lunch here at least 3 times a week. The chicken salad on sweet wheat is always good and no matter how long the line is, theyll accommodate plenty of time if youre on a quick lunch break. Love these guys!

The service was fast. I saw a line and thought it would take a while but they got the line down in just a couple minutes. Seems like most people get the food to go but I ate there with my girlfriend. Very clean, and reasonably priced. My sandwich was delicious and made me want to come back! Thanks for a good lunch experience!

Ive tried a few different things here and have liked them all! Whats better than their food is their customer service. Max personally delivered my first order so he could introduce himself and say thank you! All the delivery guys are nice, and you wont find free delivery anywhere else thats as good as Sandwich Max. Love it!

They used to be SubStation II but now I think they are even better. All the ingredients on every sub I have ever gotten are very fresh. Their breads are always crispy on the outside and soft inside, the way real bread is supposed to be. I definitely recommend a stop in to try them out. And they deliver!

I feel like I just took a bite of heaven. This sub (Italian - all the way, no onions) is that damn good. Sandwich Max makes the best subs in Charlotte - hands down. Awesome bread, fresh and flavorful meats and cheeses, and lettuce shredded just right. Thank God I got a large.

Exceptional service and very clean. My turkey and provolone sandwich on honey wheat was wonderful. The lettuce, tomatoes and cucmbers were so fresh, as if I just got them out of a garden. I will definetly come back.

Walked in as soon as the doors opened aND placed a large Togo order. The staff was over accommodating and quickly filled my order. These guys not only make a great sandwich but have the best attitude!
