Im using my dads account to write a review because I dont have a g-mail of my own, and I simply had to write a review of this bakery. I had a cake made for my first wedding anniversary and let me say that it made my very first anniversary very very memorable! Being a peacock fan, I d always wanted a peacock cake made for my wedding but that didnt work out as Id wished but this cake truly did make up for that and made my wish come true. The cake looked better than expected and was THE best cake that Id tasted in my life and let me also add "the best fondant cake" because Id never tasted fondant cake before. My husband loved it very much as well and he insisted to write a review as he was pleased very much with my choice of the bakery. Also, I really appreciate the fact that they make any design you please. Therefore, I could pretty much go ahead without any hesitation to order the design I always wanted to have. Every inch and bit of the cake was really a delight to taste and all worth the money I paid. Thanks so much for making my anniversary special... <3

I ordered a cake from this "family owned" business and was totally displeased! Not only was the pattern wrong but they attempted to fix it by covering up old icing with new icing! In addition the flavoring in the cake was wrong thus the guest of honor and other party attendees were not able to eat the cake! The cake didnt even taste the same as the sample!!!I called and spoke with Kathy, the owner, who "assumed" that everything was ok even after I expressed I wasnt satisfied. What people need to understand is that "word of mouth" is how your business thrives or fall apart such as this expensive cake I ordered! Never will I place another order from this bakery...

I have been ordering cakes from Edible Art for years and must say that they are fabulous! The attention to detail, creativity and wonderful taste makes any occasion special with a cake from this bakery. We have ordered for birthdays, holidays and most recently, my daughters wedding in October. People are still talking about the beautiful cake and the different flavors for the four tiers. The cake was gorgeous and just what we had hoped for! Edible Arts cakes are made from scratch and you can tell the difference between that and other bakeries. I would never order from anywhere else in Charlotte! YUM

Just had a cake made! It turned out horribly! The staff member that took the order did not seem enthused at all which reflected on how my cake turned out! The appearance was horrible! It lacked effort and detail! The top layer was suppose to be zebra striped but looked nothing of the sort! The "stripes" were fat and had no pattern! At first glance I thought the stripes were suppose to be some kind of slime. The zebra on the website looked nothing like my cake! Definitely not worth the price either! Maybe if I had have been someone else my cake would have turned out better!

Once again, Edible Art delivered beautifully and most importantly, deliciously. I have been ordering their cakes for special occasions for years and they are always perfect. This weekend my daughters turned 5 and we had two different cakes that were beautifully decorated for them and everyone loved them. Its the kind of cake that every person that ate it (over the age of 6 mind you) had to know where we got them. They are just the best cakes.

We used to live in Charlotte but have gotten relocated to NJ. You would think living here in NJ/NY I would find better cakes but have not! My husband, an original New Yorker, loves this cake and I always have to buy the bundt cake and have it shipped here for special occasions. I think the last reviewer just had a bad experience! Certainly the best cake we had in Charlotte for the 15 years I lived there!

I Personally havent ordered a cake from here but I have done some plumbing work here and out of all the bakeries/cake shops Ive done work in this is the only one I would do business with. The kitchen is clean, the staff is extremely nice, and the quality of work I observed was great as well. They were kind enough to give me a piece of lemon cake to try and it was superb. Highly recommend this place.

The best tasting cake around, especially the almond falvored. The cakes have that good old homemade taste, not that yucky commercial taste! The owner is very pleasant & helpful, my birthday cake was exactly as ordered & looked great!!! I love that they sell freshly baked slices daily, which is the best way to try their cake flavors. Edible Art is definitely one of the best bakerys in Charlotte!

Edible Art made my wedding cake and delivered it to our venue. Not only was the cake beautifully decorated but it was top notch in flavor, as well. At our original tasting session we expected to agree on vanilla or lemon, but the almond was so amazing we decided on that with raspberry creme filling. Thank you for taking such good care of us and making our wedding as sweet as it could be!

When im asked to describe my experiences here I honestly cannot tell you how long ive been ordering from this fabulous, delicious, incredible cake bakers for more than5 years. Ive never been dissatisfied with them in my years of living. Birthdays, weddings, anniversaries theyre the best!!!!

My husband and I ordered shortbread cookies with the logo of our company on them as party favors for our Open House Party..they cam out amazing! Absolutely delicious! They were so cute! and Emily, who helped me order them, was wonderful to work with! :)
