I had a horrible experience today while I was here with my dad. I ordered the fish and chips with onion rings. I said I didnt want the all you can eat fish, but thats what they wrote down. I was confused when my food came and there were no fries. Its called fish and chips. Chips are fries. I expected fries. I thought maybe the fries werent ready yet, and they would be out soon. I was wrong. When the two servers came(One was training the other.), I asked about the fries. They said my food comes with fries or a side. Im pretty sure the menu said fries AND a side. Of course, they gave me the all you can eat fish instead of the fish and chips. They said they would take my coleslaw(which I wasnt going to eat) and bring me some fries. I waited 10 minutes, and the plate had a sparse handful of fries. My dad complained to the woman at the paying desk, and she took ten dollars off of the bill. I took 7 lollypops, and we left. To end on a positive note, I did see something interesting in the claw machine. It was a weird looking baby plush doll with anime eyes.

My 3 coworkers and I wanted to go to lunch for our bosses birthday, I called ahead today and spoke to the General Manager, Stewart who reassured me that they were not busy. We get there not 5 minutes later, they are slammed. We reluctantly took our seats and waited 15 minutes to order. We waited 50 minutes for our food and the meal was mediocre, the waitress wasnt attentive, and when she seemed to be a bit snippy when asking for things. We waited another 10 minutes for our checks only for her to have to take them back and add our free pie to it. Another 5 minutes. We finally receive our checks and free pie and she gave me the wrong tables check! Another 5 minutes. All in all, our 1 hour lunch break turned into almost 2 hours, with mediocre food & service. The GM wasnt very responsive to our complaints or concerns. Maybe dont tell somebody that you are not busy when clearly, that was false.

Great place for large servings of food at really cheap prices. My parents love this place so every time I visit we end up here for a meal, sometimes two. They serve breakfast all day, and the omelettes are huge. Most meals run $10 or less, and again, I have to stress, you receive usually enough for two meals not one. Staff is friendly, and the space is clean. Whatever you order, make sure you save room for their pies, they are the real winners here. The pies are homemade and absolutely amazing. I usually get 2 or 3 slices of different pies to go for the week. Ask for whats in season as they rotate their pie selections constantly; but no matter what you choose, know its going to be delicious!

Quaint little restaurant....passed by it many times, I honestly thought it was a diner, but realized its more of a chain of restaurants similar to Dennys/IHOP...the service was good, coffee was hot, and they had awesome hospitality with our very active 7 month old son (at that time of the visit)....and apparantly on Wednesday they give away free slices of PIE.....they ask you when youre seated, I thought it was an upcharge, but the server explained itll get taken off at checkout....very nice. The pie was delicious too haha

I stopped here cause it had the look of a local family restaurant, but when i walked in it reminded me of Perkins and Dennys. While not a fan of Dennys, Perkins are great. First off I had stand a wait to be seated much longer than necessary. Place had plenty of seating but employees walk by and dont acknowledge you standing there. That was the only real negative. Waitress was friendly and prompt, menue was what youd expext from dennys but food came out quick and was hot. Would eat here again

8 years ago, this place used to suck. But now, its a complete turnaround! Im glad I gave them another chance. The staff is friendly and smart, the food gets to you still hot, and its tasty. Their pies are delicious and great deals. Plus, their coffee is strong. If they forget something, they just bring it to you with as little extra waiting as possible. Kindness and attentiveness goes a long way, and so does hot food. Haha!

Dirty plates and fish was so greasy could not even eat it at all. If u look closely at this pic u can see the dirt on the plate looked like grease and possibly old food that was not cleaned right. The fish my husband had to try with napkins to squeeze the grease out of. But that was not even enough. Very bad experience. Hubby say we will never ever go back and would not recomend this place to anyone ever

Ive never been to a Village Inn, my husband brought me here while we were passing through for a quick supper. I love it! I would drive down from Edgewater just to go here. I had the tilapia as Im trying to be super healthy, and it was phenomenal and full of flavor. The staff is super sweet and you can tell they are happy. The manager is super friendly too, I definitely would recommend!!

It would be 5 stars but the managers nit wit father cannot get a order right on the phone after repeating myself multiple times. The cheeseburgers are awesome, the country fried steak is ok, the pies are really good but my favorite has to be the potato pancake skillets. Incredible! Prices are good, the place is clean and dine in service has always been good.

We have driven by this place many times and by the looks of the outside, we figured it was a single location that was a rundown dump. Boy were we wrong. The inside is fantastic and the staff is mostly friendly. Our server was jovial and attentive. I ordered the strawberry french toast. The presentation and taste were out of this world. We will be back often.

I guess cleaning windows on the west side at 4pm when it is the hottest time of the day is more important than keeping the room cool. Even after closing the windows it is hotter now. They should have put me on the other side of the restaurant if they had to clean the inside windows this afternoon.

My sister lives in T-ville so every-time I go down, I have to have one of their pies. My favorite is Strawberry rhubarb. Lets put it this way, I didnt like strawberry rhubarb pie, until I tried Village Inns. Best pie I have ever eaten hands down.

The food was middle of the road, service was very slow, I got some very anti gay vibes when I was there and even had someone on staff verify my bathroom eligibility. If you want a place to eat that lives in the 1950s this is your place.
