I wanted to get the Hangover style (egg, bacon, hash, etc.), so I opted for the bean patty to mitigate a future heart attack. I personally thought it was a great combo even with the cashiers warning that wasnt a very popular duo. The egg was cooked nicely as over easy, even though I saw some pics on Yelp with an overcooked and unappetizing egg. So the burger was great and filling. I upgraded to the onion rings and I shouldnt have. The wife got the regular burger and fries, and I ended up eating more of her fries than the rings. There was too much batter and it ended up ruining the onion. However, I did ask what type of oil they use to fry their items due to a nut/soy allergy, and they indicated using a blend of canola and rice bran oil. After a quick google search on rice bran oil, I found out its good quality oil with some health benefits. So if Im going to eat fried food, might as well eat some healthier cooking oil. The interior and atmosphere is nothing special as its more of a fast casual spot. Glad I tried it and would recommend it, but only warrants an occasional return for me.

My husband came here for lunch on Superbowl Sunday, looking for a good lunch and a little Charlotte hometown buzz before the game . . . I have a gluten allergy and called ahead of time to ask a few questions. The person that answered the phone was extremely knowledgeable, told me about the GF buns (yeah!!), listed all of my side choices, told me about the quality of the meat. etc. When we arrived, our order was taken by Morgan (who I realized had also answered the phone), who again was so nice and knowledgeable. My husband whispered to me about a family that had just taken up 3 tables leaving us with no where to site. Morgan overhead him and rushed over to clear off a table of a party that was just leaving. I had the guacamole burger with the Quinoa Salad (a flavor explosion!!) and my husband had the special Carolina panthers burger. Our entire meal was delicious and the service made the whole experience even better! We will definitely be back! It was great to see employees who are knowledgeable and love their job!

Plenty of seating . Friendly staff Nice atmosphere Trendy neighborhood Beef patties a bit too salty and greasy. Fries should be cooked more and shaken out better...too greasy! The quality of beef is certainly great! Their napkin cost must be really high. I used 7! Small looking double patty burgers, but ultimately filled me up. Im disappointed by their signature sauce that goes on the bang bang burger. Why is there just not a straight up Burger that includes mustard? Do people not use Mustard? Booth seats are extremely uncomfortable & at an awkward pitch forward and table is too far away from you while eating. Theres also a prompt option on the screen to tip the cashier? Really? Whats going on here really. This is my second time..same end results. I wont be back. I have no idea how this place has 4.7 stars. Perhaps, customers here have never traveled and had a better burger. Also, Dont tap your straw on the table to get it out of paper wrapping... it will split easily. Cheap Cheap!

Im always on the hunt for the great hamburger. Im adding this to my top favorites in the Charlotte area. Im picky -- I need a few things done right: Premium quality, flavorful meat that is great at medium. Check. Robust, chewy house-made bun that stands up to the juiciness. Check. Great fries that are not an afterthought. Check. Finally, a choice of the classic standard or creative toppings. Check and double check. This is a place that really cares about its hamburgers. But more than that, I had a delightful surprise. I got to the counter to pay and found my debit card missing from my wallet. I was very flustered and a little upset. The cashier said, "I can see youre having a bad day. Why dont I include a complimentary serving of our barbeque chips with your order?" Oh, why not? And they were awesome. Nothing like a homemade barbeque chip to improve my day! Everyone, please try out Bang Bang. It will be your new favorite too.

Located in one of my favorite neighborhoods, this is a great meeting place and of course, burger joint. The staff is knowledgeable and the owner is super cool. They served a free in-house BBQ potato chip appetizer while we waited. My friend got the Bang Bang Burger with their signature Bangburger sauce on the side with sweet potato fries with some kind of maple sauce. I got the Seoul burger with kimchi (of course) on a gluten free bun with hand cut fries. Both dishes were to die for. I had a little bit of everything (but for a bite of my friends burger) and could have eaten ALL the fries and chips on my own. Even the beer recommendation paired with my slightly spicy burger made perfect sense. The only thing they (or rather, the private supplier) will need to work on is the oopsie bread, aka gluten free bun. I know theyre hard to make sturdy enough for a heavy wet burger. Im just thankful they have the option at all.

I never take the time to write reviews online, especially since only a few are accurate. We used to live right by Bang Bang Burgers, and ate there often. Every single time we got a great burger, good fries, and excellent service. We havent been back since we moved about 2 years ago. Well I was back in the neighborhood and decided to grab some dinner for old times sake. What an awful letdown from the great burger place we used to love. Both mine and my wifes burgers were unbelievably undercooked. Each of us ordered medium and the patties looked as though they were patted out, slid across the grill and served off the other side. Raw. Patties. The lettuce was also completely wilted and old, and the fries had obviously been sitting for a while as they were soggy and cold. 2 starts over .5 simply for old times sake.

This restaurant is usually pretty busy, which makes sense once you try one of their burgers. I had the Hangover, which includes cheddar cheese, a fried egg, grilled onions, potato bacon hash, and their special sauce. As a whole, the burger was very delicious. Individually, each component was prepared to my liking. The meat was very moist and tasty with its slight pink center. The fried egg had a runny yoke, which I love. The grilled onions were delicious as well, and the potato bacon hash was enjoyable. The special sauce was tasty as well, and goes well with this burger. The fries that this place serves are OK, but I’ve personally enjoy Five Guys’ more. Something I will be trying next time I’m here is the cheeseburger eggroll! That sounds and looked amazing.

OK Charlotte, it is official, this is the best burger in Charlotte. Actually possibly the best burger I have had ever. The meat was perfectly cooked, juicy and flavorful. Complimented by a delicious soft and buttery bun. I chose the Seoul burger and was amazed but my companions had the gangnam style and the macaroni and cheese burgers and were equally impressed. I dont think you could go wrong. Adding to the burgers they have perfectly fried hand cut fries. If you want something different they have sweet potato fries with what can only be described as wonderful dipping sauce. The staff was great. The chef/owner was there and freely talked with us about his burgers and sauces. I have found my new burger joint. Going back often.
