I went to this bar to celebrate my friend’s birthday party and to begin with, it seemed like a really nice place. This was a total facade to underlying rudeness and deception!! When I returned home I discovered I was charged an extra tip on my credit card after leaving a cash tip, writing in the tip section on my receipt "cash", and also rewriting the total. When I called to bring this to the owners attention she said, "So you were with that big drunk group that was here." First of all, none of the people in our group were drunk because this was our first stop for the night and we havent been drinking previously. Yes, we were a little louder than the other 3 or so people in the bar, but by no means were we obnoxious. (even if we were, the way she said it was no way to speak to a customer that brought that amount of traffic to your business) After this show of complete rudeness, I will never return to this bar or recommend it to anyone.

This is my FAVORITE bar in the city. The staff always knows who I am when I come in and my usual drink. Dont like whats on their "wine by the glass" menu? No problem! Just buy a bottle off their expansive selection on display and theyll open it for you right there. Try the walnut & blue cheese dip - its heavenly. The pizzas are very good and they have the best patio in town during the summer. Dont think twice - just GO.

My favorite stop in Asheville! My wife and I took a weekend trip and stopped by several bars and pubs, but Sante was by far the most memorable. We were treated to a fantastic experience. The staff was knowledgeable yet unpretentious. We had a cheese board filled with various cheeses, meats and nuts that went perfectly with the wine selections our waiter suggested. I will be making a trip back to Asheville just to visit Sante!

What could be better than a top notch selection of wines by the glass and bottle at great prices and tasty snacks all served in a relaxing environment by friendly people who know their wine? Not much, and thats what youll find at Sante at the Grove Arcade. What they have to offer is far better than any other place in town.

Stopped in for a late afternoon beer and snack. Limited selection of draft beers, but what they had fit the bill. Try the blue cheese and walnut dip. Its very tasty! Comfortable lounge atmosphere and a lot of outdoor seating.

The wine selection is good (the wines on tap are actually very good; try them) and the lunch menu (sandwiches, soup, salad, etc.) is surprisingly good also.

Great tapas and nice spot to relax and have a drink. Indoor and outdoor seating. We had their Greek salad and Spinach artichoke dip. Both were great!
