After driving for 10 hrs from Florida, we arrived in Asheville around 11p. Hungry, tired, and with sleep looming we stopped at iHop. We walked through the doors at 11:20p, it was busy, but not too busy. It took about 5m to be seated, and about another 10m to get our order in, but by 11:35p we were ready to get our eat on. As we sat and waited, 2 other groups came in and put their orders in as well. Over the next 20 or so minutes both of their orders arrived at their tables, yet we were still sitting without food. Around midnight a waitress came by and said our food would be right out. Annoyed but still hungry, we waited . . . (how long does it take to fry up some pre made chicken, mozzarella sticks, and some bacon I thought?) Well at 12:10a we hear someone call to the kitchen and say our exact orders. No one came up to us and said anything, so at 12:20a we had had enough and we walked out. Now Im a reasonable person. Things happen, orders get misplaced, and sometimes things can take a very long time, especially with how inconsistent night time can be. But when you say nothing to the people affected by these issues, and never even bother to say something like "sorry but your order didnt get put in on time" or " things are taking a bit longer than expected is this going to be a problem?", then you are treating your customers like garbage and think them to be idiots. Well, after playing the role of the idiot for the better part of an hour, at 12:20a we simply walked out. The people that came in after us were just finishing their food and said that how they were treating us was complete BS and that they would have walked out too. Asheville : Great town, lots of great things to do and see. Asheville iHop : Same garbage youd expect from an iHop anywhere yet worse.

I am writing to commend profoundly the actions of those who helped two very close friends while dinning at your restaurant. My friends are two ladies who are a couple, and they were verbally assaulted, along with water and straws being flung, by a bigoted woman and her poorly mannered children. This woman said my friends deserved to be treated horribly "because they are gay." Your service team addressed these ill mannered bigots promptly and made my friends feel comfortable and welcome. In this day and social climate, it takes strong people to stand up when hateful behavior is displayed. Please give the managers and service team my personal appreciation for doing what most do not; the right thing. You can be sure I will be commending, and recommending, IHOP because of this indecent!

First I got my iced coffee which was a nightmare. They should not even attempt this menu item. Lets see, the avocado I paid extra for wasnt even ripe, they managed to tack on an extra 4 bucks on my omelette which was so awful I took one bite and slid it to the side. One of my 3 crepes was burnt, soggy hash browns when I ordered well done and why is my bill 34 FREAKING DOLLARS?!?!?!?!? needless to say, we left food barely touched, kindly told the manager where he could put that check and exited never to return to this hell on earth locale again. We did leave a tip. Our waitress may have been dim with a bad dye job, but she was by far the most pleasant part of this I-HELLish experience.

Staff seemed hated to be there no one smiling or being nice to one another or guests. The waitress was rude to me saying my tip wasnt great said " wow five dollars woo hoo" and my check was only $14 I mean thats almost half my meal ticket what she expecting $10 on a $14 bill. Ill never be there again food took forever and stupid rude waitress messed my order up due to not writing it down thinking she could remember it all obviously not that smart I run a chain of restaurants and an 25% owner so I understand days in restaurants are long, stressful, and harder than most guests think but this doesnt excuse rudeness and not taking care of guests

This is one of my favorite places to eat when I go to Asheville. How could you not love breakfast all day? The food here is very good. I have always received what I ordered and in a timely manner. Besides breakfast IHOP also serves a variety of sandwiches and entrees. I happen to love the double blueberry pancakes they serve. I have been told that the strawberry cream crepes are heavenly. Whatever you order is cooked fresh when your order is taken. The employees are friendly and efficient. The bathrooms are clean and neat. Always important to us women! Or at least to me. Definitely worth a try if you happen to find yourself close.

poorly! We called earlier on st. Patricks day and asked if their store is participating in the free pancakes they said yes. We get there and theres a sign saying no free pancakes that if we want we can drive down to south Carolina. also we all got a table that was dirty we waited for them to come and clean it up. the server left us to give us more time on the menu and i kept trying to get get attention and only after 15 mins another server came and took our order. We were really disappointed but the food was delishes!

We were a hotel guest at the Ramada, so the IHOP breakfast came free. There was a limited menu, which was fine. The food was great, but the service was really bad. I dont know if they see that you are a guest and figure you will tip badly if at all, but it took a really long time to get a menu... or place our order, And we didnt get checked on at all. Just want to say that if you are a Ramada guest.. expect to wait.

My food is always perfect and the wait staff is friendly and attentive! We try to eat at local restaurants as often as possible but IHOP in Asheville is one of my favorite place for breakfast. And last time we were there, our waitress Helen was marvelous! Quick and charming!:)
