I have been there several times with the family while attending shows at the Magnetic Theater. Great artsy location. Good pizza. Something kids and adults would like. Looses two stars because it is not the best pizza in town and as another reviewer put it, needs better management. Could use a manager that is interested in customer service and delivering a polished look and experience. Made a special request, the staff fully agreed then the manager came over to over rule them, all in front of me. Frankly, I thought the manager was being too rigid as I offered to compensate them for the additional effort and it was nothing that other places wouldnt do. I think the owner in Black Mountain should spend a little more time at this location getting management up to speed in customer service and polishing this location. Artsy, rustic location is fine as long as it is clearly clean.

I wanted to be excited about this place. They have a nice location in Black Mountain that is always hopping. Unfortunately this one is middle of the road at best. Basically an unsupervised staff of want to be artist that are more interested in each other than actually working. Only music in the place coming from the kitchen. If you choose to sit on the patio you get the luxury of sitting with the staffs bicycles that they constantly check on and the view of dirty mop bucket with a make shift mop closet.

This Place was really great! The staff was really nice, they got you what you needed. And the food was the best part it was DELICIOUS! If you want to be stuffed come here. They also sell wine and beer! And the decorations are really nice like paints and such. They also have an outside place to eat, so if you have a dog you can bring them down.But all out its a really nice family friendly place, that people should enjoy!

This is the 2nd and best pizza place to occupy this space. Wood-fired pizza, obviously, and done at a very high level of quality. Because of the limited space theyre working with, there can be a wait, both to get a table and then to get your food, but what you get is delicious every time.

Probably the best Pizza in Asheville at the moment (since my two favs have since closed). That said the old version was a better sauce and a higher temperature crispier pizza. I wish the would bring back the old menu/pizza recipe as it was unique, good and had nothing else compatible.

Great pizza! Clam and bacon pizza is on point! Never had bad experience w staff, however, environment is pretty laid back ... could see why some folks have poor experiences w/ staffs attentiveness. Second location in black mountain is excellent too.

Broad pizza menu offers options for every taste, including gluten free. Delicious fresh salads full of extras, including locally sourced ingredients. Thoughtfully planned wine and beer menu. Service and friendly atmosphere deserve an A+.

I have been looking for a Wood Fired Pizza place in Asheville for a while (other than Brixx). These guys are awesome! Everything tastes very fresh and the crust is perfect. They are also priced reasonably. I would recommend to everyone!

Best pizza in (River Arts District) Asheville! Fire chared crust, pizza nachos! Laid back and fair priced. They even have nachos, Italiano style! Excellent variety of specialty pizzas; something for just about everyone! Love it!

The one in Blackmountain was excellent but this location is so-so. The pizza is greasy, the vegetables are not fresh, and its often undercooked. Im really bummed because I thought it would be like the other place
