Our annual Christmas luncheon took place on a Monday. It was spent here because Primo Amore, our go-to restaurant was closed. My boss decided to have it here because she and her husband have dined here before. Its a quaint restaurant/bar decked with 1960s tablecloths adorning each of the wooden tables. Everything about this place is old school, which in this case is not a bad thing. We sat at the bar until the rest of our party arrived. Drinks were good and inexpensive. The bartender was pleasant and gave off the vibe that shes been there many years. Once our full party arrived we sat down in the dining area. The bartender functioned as the waitress as well. She gave us ample amount of time to place our orders because we were so busy catching up with each other. We placed our orders for apps and entrees. Our apps consisted of clams oreganata and fried calamari. Entrees consisted of chicken parmigiana, lemon chicken, & shrimp parmigiana. My chicken parmigiana came with penne pasta. The chicken was delicious, but the pasta not so much. It was drenched in pasta sauce which made it too salty to enjoy.

30+ members of our family met at Clinton on Monday following the funeral of our beloved Aunt Kathy. The staff was wonderful, the food awesome. Our gathering was terrific in no small part due to The Clinton Restaurant owners and wait staff. Thanks for making this a special gathering during a difficult time!

Great local place. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. They also have a bar. Their food portions are huge. Chicken cutlet parmesan is always a big hit with my friends also the pizza. They make a nice eggplant parmesan thats not breaded. The staff is always friendly and so are the customers.

Ive been coming here since Dad was alive,a kind and proud man. Now his son, follows his fathers pattern of respect, great food and great service. I have been coming here for 20+ years love the nocc hi with veal sauce...and their Pizza is the best. Joanna Mancini

Im missing my daddy today and fondly thought of the clinton bar! My parents practically lived there. John & Lillian Koch. My favorite was rays special. My dad would sit and talk to Ray for hours. Of course Im remembering 40 years ago.

Nice cozy atmosphere. Good hearty food. Prices are not bad at all. Family/kid friendly. They have a bar as well. Parking is easy around this area. Friendly wait staff. They have booths and they also have these type-tiny chairs.

Been coming here since a kid, now when I come back and visit its the first place to visit. The "ol neighborhood" food hasnt changed one bit. The menu is simple, but they do it well.
