Time took 50 mins to bring out a PHO, when typically the broth is pre-set, in most Vietnamese restaurants. Now one would say they make it fresh with ingredients which is why it took so long, however my girlfriend had a fly in hers. I dont blame them for the fly, but we were concerned about the additional wait time, they brought out the PHO in 5 mins and it was hot. One thing I forgot to mention was that when our PHO came out in 50 mins it was luke warm. I believe they let it sit which is why a fly ended up in my girlfriends PHO. I usually dont review a place, but the sheer wait time, to bring about the illusion of making something fresh is distasteful especially since it was luke warm upon delivery. Overall I would not come here again, the price for the PHO is unreasonable, and the execution of a plate that has sat for a long time is just disgraceful. It is sad the flavor of the PHO is great, but everything else is not.

I came here for dinner since it was in my friends neighborhood. Its a cute restaurant with an interesting menu. Their items are different than the usual items you find in a typical Vietnamese restaurant. We ordered the shrimp summer rolls, beef pho with bone marrow, and the green tea tiramisu. The summer roll was tasty and very fresh. It had interesting ingredients like mango and watermelon radish which is usually not found in summer rolls at typical Vietnamese restaurants. The beef pho with bone marrow was tasty because of the extra richness from the bone marrow. It is definitely worth the extra $3. The green tea tiramisu is frozen so it was only half thawed when we got it. I would skip dessert and just get the summer rolls and the pho. I would come back if Im ever in the area.

There is no way that a salad with cooked chicken takes 40 min... i dont write reviews but i do own a business and understand what it takes to please the consumer. I would love to have the business redeem themselves by resolving this issue and in turn having me redact this review. Whether by hiring a second cook or by purchasing a better stove im sure you can have a decreased wait time. This is new york and people do like fast service based on relative expectations. Other than that, when we finally received the food it tasted fine.

If someone had told me that a guy from Slovakia along with his Czech fiancee and some of their friends could make delicious Thai and Vietnamese food, Id laugh pretty hard. But thats what you get here in this restaurant. Definitely filled with hipster overtones (everything in mason jars) but the food is great and the atmosphere is also. Im always comforted watching the owners eat the same food they serve customers and this was what happened here. The pricing isnt that bad, the neighborhood is decent and you wont be disappointed.

Ordered: -large beef pho with bone marrow -large spicy pho with bone marrow -shrimp summer rolls -pork belly banmi buns Id go back for the bone marrow pho but not the summer rolls or banmi buns. Shrimp summer rolls were ok at best and the banmi buns were a huge inconvenience to eat. All in all pretty great noodle soup but its not pho... Prices and location for queens can be a bit cheaper. Over $60 for that was almost not worth it.

On the menu, where is the food? Green curry? Red curry? Yellow curry? How about purple? The service is pretty bad... I dont know if this was a bad day for you but we didnt like it. And you built the restaurant in a house?! There is literally no space. People at different tables can feel each other.... that how close we are. Yeah.... you should really fix this

By far one of the true hidden gems in Whitestone. The food is fresh and the quality is excellent. When you go, give yourself some time as it this is not fast food and out in a minute. The best things in life take time as do the items on the menu, but it is worth a couple of extra minutes. Authentic and friendly- absolutely try it - then tell a friend.

Food was delicious. The large bowl of beef pho was pretty big. Service was great. Our food took awhile to be served and we didnt know why. without us asking the waitress came and told us that our order was messed up so it took a little longer and without us saying anything she took the 2 drinks off our bill. I thought that was a nice gesture.

유명한 맛집이라고해서 찾아갔었는데 역시 쌀국수도 맛있고 인테리어도 깔끔하고 조용하게 먹을수있어서 좋았어요..^^ 쌀국수에 같이 나오는 고기에서 잡내도 없어서 더 담백한 맛이 났던것 같네요..

New spot right by my apartment so I gave it a try about a month ago, there were 4 of us we order 2 dishes to share and 4 entrees. Food was fresh, clean, and the sandwich was the best! But it took nearly 30min to get our first dish and entree was out before the starters! But that sandwich was so good service was unfortunately sloooowwwwws

We went in there at lunchtime, they told us the wait is 20 minutes while there are 4 open seats and two guests were sitting in the 4 peoples table... on top of all, they told us to wait outside in the hot summer sun! Unbelievable, it was like they didnt want customers. We left, there are plenty of other restaurants. Disappointed!

I love this place. We have been going since it opened. My husband is working in Whitestone right now and I am going back and forth to Ohio. The beef short rib sandwich is AWESOME, I am begging the hubby to bring one home to Ohio for me. We have never had anything but fantastic food and great service!

Great staff. So nice to be able to get a nice bowl of Pho without having to track into flushing. Really Great if you live in Whitestone. They also give you the option of getting the bone from the broth. The summer rolls were very good and fresh. They have aesthetically pleasing Green Tea tiramisu.

Fantastic! Simply fantastic, I have been coming to Ginger & Lemongrass since it opened, and it has the best Pho, I have ever had and Ive been to Vietnam. Try the spicy Lemongrass Pho you will be blown away. If spice is not your thing try the beef Pho with bone marrow

Im yet to try something I dont like. Im a bit of a chicken connoisseur, and their chili lime chicken is awesome! It has a very cool Williamsburg/Lower east side vibe. Its a nice change for the quiet town of Whitestone. It also brings a whole new culture! Love it

Pretty bad pho, soup is ok, bean sprout is old/rotten, meat is lumpy. Way too expensive for sub par food. Tips recommendation on the receipt starts at 18%, 20%, 30% and its miscalculated with tax included. Why we are being asked to tip on top of taxes?!@!

Fusion Viet, get the bone marrow pho!!!!!! Before you scrap off the bone marrow and dip into the soup, try the broth itself -- highly recommended. Yes itll get fatty and greasy but soo good. Its a small place so come early! Fits about 20 people tops?

New restaurant in the neighborhood! This is an interesting fusion place. It does not have the Asian vibe but no bad flavors. Will have to try a few more items before I judge. You cant mess up noodles lol. The owner and his wife were friendly.
