You dont know what youre missing when you pass this hole in the wall restaurant in a busy area on the turnpike.. It may be tempting to go to the flashy Italian, sushi, and pizza joints nearby or God forbid the Burger King across the street, but youd be missing the amazing flavors of this traditional, Korean comfort food-focused restaurant. You know how some foods take you back to your "grandmas" house? This place will take you there, except its even more magical because they take you all the way to Korea.. Get a hot tea, get some hot soup, watch some Korean game show tv, and allow yourself to be teleported to a whole different place as you watch all the commuters miss out on the turnpike to your right..

If youre craving Korean and dont want to drive far then definitely consider coming here. The staff is nice, usually no wait, reasonable selection, moderate prices and food tastes good. There is also koreana restaurant which is a 10 minute drive away but they always have waits, are a little more expensive though food tastes a little better there. Solid place though, especially on a cold winter day for soon dubu jigae.

The BBQ we ordered was not very good at all. It was very tough and it was not the right meat for the meal. It was also low quality.We complained and we order something else which was cheaper than the BBQ but they still charged me the original price for the BBQ after I sent it back! They are very dishonest and I will not recemend this restaurant to anybody.

Service is great. The Korean food is ok. My standards for Korean food is rather high since I am Korean and lived in Korea for many years. Still its a great spot to get your fill if youre not in the mood to venture out to the Queens or Manhattan.

After the current owners took over the restaurant, the menu grew and the choices were expanded. The quality of the food is good and the meals are always hot. This is always one place you should visit if youre in the mood for Asian food.

The service was very nice. The owners were very friendly. The food was good. You get a lot for what you pay for. Its a bit further than I usually travel but it is definitely worth it. I enjoyed so much. I plan to go there often.

Korean restaurants are hard to come by on Long Island, so this is a gem. Nice assortment of food - bibimbap and soups are the best. The owners are very kind!
